  1. If crazy people suddenly start shooting/attacking me, I deserve the right to murder them in self defense.

What I do in GTA IV when I see a criminal is run to him and trip him over, continually knocking him down until the cops get him.

I also love abusing police power by attacking a security guard, and then calling the cops. They come to arrest him, he runs (or I knock him over) then he starts shooting, only to be shot dead by the cops.

Lol I love doing that to the poor guard, especially the ones guarding police stations.

  2. I don't think the one on the bridge and the one with chop running are the same.

    • The B-post on the bridge is much thinner
    • The C-post areas look different. The one on the bridge looks longer.
    • The rear fender curves look different as well. The one with chop has a "hump" over the wheel whereas the one on the bridge is more flat from under the windows all the way to the tail lights.
    • The tail lights are different in color and shape.

I wasn't buying it until you pointed out the tail lights. The chrome in place of red could be an upscale trim line or something of the sort, but the shape is totally different. :P

  3. No. Realism sucks. If I wanted to go on murderous rampage in Los Angelos, I'd do it. I'm more into jumping out if a plane aimed at downtown with a jetpack and a rocket launcher kind of guy... which is why I play gta.

realism is a good thing if it's done right in certain aspects of the game, like i want realistic physics. and the way that cops try and kill you, but i don't wanna have cops be too realistic, like enforcing traffic laws and such. and i also wan't driving to feel realistic, but i don't want it too realistic to where we have to have gas and shit.

you just need a good balance between realism and fun. because if you go too real the game will be dull and feel boring after a while, but if you make it too unrealistic you end up with saints row which fucking sucks(IMO).

Yeah there's a difference between realism and detail. Of course I'd like to see as much detail as reasonably possible, as it adds character to the game, but it doesn't have to be overly realistic. That being said I still tend to play IV more than TBoGT for singleplayer. After a while of rampaging in unlimted-ammo attack choppers or APCs, realism really hits the spot.

  4. I doubt the layout is by accident

there's quite some similarities to previous titles in terms of arrangement of the pictures, like the helicopter up left.

also, the layout it is quite equal to that of the IV era covers, as seen in this comparison at the gtaforums:

and yes, bones is right about the color balance, this intention is more than obvious seeing how they changed backgrounds on certain already existing artworks to achieve it.

My, they really are quite similar, V is just all amped up. And Chop is way better than Faustin lol

  5. - A hysteric woman attacking her boyfriend

    - A dog attacking a mailman

    - Fistfights between gangs in the streets

    - An abusive husband yelling at his wife

    - Someone stealing a bike and putting it in the back of a van

    - Drunk people around bars, trying to pick fights with you or throwing up on your shoes

    - Someone pick pocketing people

    - Tourists taking pictures of buildings

    - People playing sports at the beach, sunbathing, swimming, ...

    - Someone drowning in the sea

    - ...

Imagine being able to interfere in all these encounters, just think about the possibilities !

Well it has been said we can nab purse snatchers for one thing, also watching a dog chase a mailman would be a really nice touch.

  6. I would like to see the Hakuchou (based on a Hayabusa and a ZX-14 mixed together in my opinion) from The Lost and Damned make a return. I felt like it was more powerful than all of the other sport bike in the game. I would always lose traction coming out of a corner of just taking off from a stop, none of the other bikes did that.

I hope all the bikes from TLaD return. Didn't care for all of them but still, having the variety is nice.
