  1. again, the same payment bug as mentioned above, even tho last week it did work properly. is it possible that properties "refuse" to wire their weekly income if you refuse to do their jobs? cuz I know I refused to help out both "non-paying" properties (cab co and pot store), while I did jobs and received money last game-week...

If you refuse to help then you will not get paid that week, at least that is my understanding.

I know doublepost and stuff, but can someone confirm that property management missions only work as long as the main story isn't completed? cuz I know I still have a handfull of them open but I don't get no calls anymore, phone not silenced.

No, you will get calls both before and after the storyline is completed. Sometimes, however, you not get any calls for a long period of time. For example I was getting calls from every company Franklin owned ever week, then all of the sudden nothing for at least a month and a half (in game). I do not know why it does this.

The scrapyard pays you $150 per car destroyed. When The Lost attack the scrapyard, blow up all of their vans, and that'll be the money you get. I don't know if destroying cars in general adds to that. It was never explained very well.
it pays out for all the cars destroyed in the week, i.e. if you get a rhino and got on a rampage you will be getting $150 for every car you shoot. what isn't clear is that it has a cap, once you blow up 34 cars you get nothing more, its capped at getting $5,000 a week.

That is good to know, but it sucks. They should have at least had it max out at 10K. so if you died while going on a car killing rampage you would still make a profit.

  2. Hangar only stores one plane. I parked a helicopter on the helipad, right next to Trevor's Frogger, and just left it. Was available, but wasn't the stored vehicle. Was able to switch to the other, of course.

Are you talking about Trevor's hanger? Seems kind of lame if that is true, but that would fit with what I have experienced. I was able to store the jet in Trevor's hanger and now the other plane will no longer appear.

I have had no problem storing multiple helicopters at any of the pads.

  3. I found the crashed Merryweather Cargo Plane that Trevor abandons after it starts going down. It's in the Pacific, you know, near the Sonar Collections Dock (Something like that) near Paleto Bay.

The plane found near the Sonar Collections Dock is completely unrelated.

For the Merryweather plane I just took the dingy up the river, gets a little tight but it is doable. I search some other parts of the Alamo sea and other then the Merryweather plane I have not yet found anything of interest.

  4. remember that the stocks wont change over the weekend... but I have had a big problem with stocks freezing. Ill invest in something while its low and then it will just stay where it is, no loss, no gain just stay there. It doesn't seem to matter how long I wait.

So after the game is finished...

I noticed Mayweather drops really low, but in an e-mail you get the CEO (or whoever) says that it is temporary. does anyone know if it actually does eventually turnaround. I invested all the heist earnings for all three characters into mayweather as soon as the game ended just to see if I could make a return. Of course I have a safety save in case it doesn't work, but I was wondering if anyone else had tried.

  5. Chose C, didn't really consider the other two just because I didn't want any of them to die. They didn't kill those guys earlier becasue of their connections, they were forced to do it in the end because the only other option would be killing one of the protags. Stretch on the other hand, I don't know why they didn't kill him earlier.

Anyways, I thought it was a good ending. better then IVs.

oh, and shame on everyone who rushed into the last mission with no secondary save. I would have thought that multiple saves was common sense by now.

  6. No water/aircraft customization?

Yeah I could have sworn that the they said their would be air craft and water craft customization.

Story IS very short. 69 missions, and at least 3 of them are "go here and buy something, boom end of mission" 2 minute long things

And some of those missions have lasted me almost an hour.

how the hell? Getting the boiler suit took you and hour?

Yes it took me an hour... of course not smart ass. I never said the boiler suit mission took me an hour. I was referring to other missions in the game.

what really bothers me about the missions are the heist themselves. I just wish there were a few more of them.

  7. Where I'll invest in "Betta Pharmaceuticals" for the First Assassination Mission ( I forget the maximum % increase for this ), and then in "Debonaire" Cigarettes before the Second Assassination Mission ( which maxes out around +80% profit after the mission ) then sell them and reinvest the money into their rival company "Redwood" Cigarettes ( which goes up by a massive 300%). And then invest in "iFruit" for the Third Assassination Mission ( which has about a +50% profit ), then "Vapid" ( which you buy and sell AFTER the Fourth Assassination Mission/ for a +100% Profit ), and lastly "Gold Coast" for the final Assassination Mission ( which goes up by +80% ).

Thank for the information, it will be useful but I have a question. Why does Redwood jump by 300% and when?

  8. They did not make that clear at all. Why, and what the hell are those safehouse locations on my blueprint map for, GTA online? that's dumb. It seems like maybe they put a little to much efforts into GTAO for my taste...

I dont want it to sound like a complaint, this is still probably the best game I have ever played, I love it and I look forward to the hours of enjoyment I will be getting from GTAV and GTAO...

but yeah, no crouching is a little weird.

  9. Might it be because you're not wanted and you don't have any money?

I'm disappointed by the fact that Burger Shot or any other restaurant isn't accessible. Even if eating there wouldn't put your health back to normal, it would've been a nice place to hang out with friends, do a robbery like the ones in convenience stores or maybe even go in there and kill employees and customers if you want their competitors stock to go up..

you know this really bothers me too. Its not that I am big on the characters being able to eat, I just dont understand why it would be removed when it have been apart of the series since SA. Same goes with the street vendors, those were a great way to restore health. Robbing a burger shot also would have been nice. I just dont get the point of removing it.

    Things I don't like...

    1) Very short story line - I wouldnt call it short really. shorter then other GTAs maybe, but not short.

    2) No purchasable houses (Pretty sure they said there would be....as well as property) - they said you could buy real-estate and you can.

    3) A lot of wasted spaces on the map that were never used. ie. prison. - sorry, but I just disagree with this. Open spaces are great for having fun and screwing around.

  10. Surprised no one mentioned Rocco or CJ, Sweet, and Ryder. Rocco is seen in 2 missions and CJ, Sweet, and Ryder are riding bikes when going with LD and TP to Grove ST. OI know it's not IV but still cool. z0mg r* li3d!! CJ is in !!!1!!!1!!!

That's plain untrue... There's no CJ, Sweet or Ryder in the game, and I'd like to see you prove it otherwise. For starters, Ryder is dead. Sweet and CJ would be in their late 40's, early 50's. Also, we all know that these universes are separate...

There was one semi-reference to CJ and Sweet, when Lamar and Franklin are talking about how Grove Street used to be Families. They say that was a long time ago and that "they" (grove street families) are probably rich CEOs now. They never mentioned them by name, but I like to think that CJ and Sweet are living the good life somewhere.

Of course like you said, it is a different universe so anything is possible.

  11. Good luck with that. Bawsaq seemed a little erratic when I have looked at it so I have been sticking to the in game market for the most part. I wish you could make money off redoing the heist. I strewed up the first heist and Micheal only got like 100K. I re-did it and make a mil for mike and a half mil for Franklin, but of course I didn't get to keep it.

By the way, helping random strangers can be profitable. Got this guys bicycle back for him and it turned out he was the owner of that Ark pet place, he gave me $100,000 in shares. I am sitting on them now to see where it goes.
