  1. Los Santos definitely covers more square footage, just as the sprawling Los Angeles metro area does compared to New York City. But just like the real cities, if you’re wondering about the density of the downtown area, Los Santos proper is smaller than Liberty City. for banana pudding...

They didn't say exactly which areas they included in IV. Is it just the land area? Is it the entire area contained in a box around the islands? Is it the land and water between the islands, but not the water outside of the islands like this -

We don't know, so that quote doesn't help much.

i'm just a sucker for landscape shots... the action shots are cool and all, but this one here tells me a whole lot about the game... i see a town way way off in the distance in the center (correct me if i am wrong), and i see nothing but wilderness stretching as far as the eye can see... los santos is behind this shot, you're looking at trevor territory here, where he hunts deer with his bare hands...

I think Los Santos is to the right.

  3. Okay, let me rephrase it.

September seems really late in the PS3s lifespan to be releasing GTA V, I wonder if R* have any tricks up their sleeves.

It's highly likely that they have something planned for GTA V on the next-gen consoles. I wouldn't expect them to announce anything about it for at least a few months after the initial release so it doesn't hurt sales for the PS3 / XBox 360 versions. You'll probably be able to stream it over the cloud after they release the PS4. Then, after that, they'll announce an enhanced next-gen expansion pack.

So, you'll be basically buying it 3 times.

    - original version on disc

    - paid cloud stream of original version

    - enhanced expansion pack
