i'm surprised no ones mentioned the town yet. one of the missions could be based off the part where they try and rob the stadium, except they do it at the coliseum in gta 5.

I think you should have an option in the settings menu to turn realistic/non-realistic mode on/off. That way everybody is happy. Turn non-realistic mode on when you're in a mission you don't wanna fail, & turn realistic mode on when you just don't care & are just playin around to pass time or somethin. Me personally, would love the realistic mode because I like games being as close to real life as possible. In reality, you don't just get shot, then go to the store to buy a drink or something.... you're ass is layin on the ground cryin. I always hated the part about the GTA games when you can just stand there & get shot 100 time & still have a lot of health left.
They need to make an option so you can turn something like that on & off.
What do you guys think?

Rough version. It's shit, but I've made it very clear by now that I'm no good with photoshop. It's more of a trial run than anything.
I kept it along the lines of IV's HUD, but I plan to make the upper right corner more compact and minimalistic in future attempts. The radar is blank, partially because it's blank in IV when you're inside, but mostly because I know my attempt at the new radar is going to be a miserable failure. I also threw in a shitty version of the sound cone, because no one else has yet. Personally, I think the cone would look better as a vertical bar attached to the side of the radar, but the real one will look better than mine, obviously. Also, I highly doubt it'll be there all the time. It'll probably only be there when you're crouching.

Seems strange to me that they wouldn't come out and say "they are Grove Street".
It's implied by the green apparel, but then again Grove Street was a set of a larger gang, so this might just be another set.
it could be one of the other sets like seville blvd families, or temple drive.

I know one thing for sure, those cops hanging on the side of those trucks will be the easy to get rid of.

I want the ability to rappel down a building if you get stuck on a ledge with no other way down. Alternative to the parachute or something.
Just remembered I put this in here. Hopefully rappelling is actually available outside missions.
or in multiplayer.

Well, as Grove street families gang is in this one I may try and fing OG Loc's grave so I can shit on it.
OG Loc never died.
It's possible that he died in the past 20 years of time that has elapsed since SA. But then again, SA is in a completely different universe, so any mention of OG Loc will most likely just be an easter egg, like a CD (like in IV)
i am kind of hoping for an easter egg of San Andreas. like maybe a CJ, sweet, smoke, or ryder grave., or something

I agree with Marcus, Looks like Trevor's probably over-watching Michael/Franklin, in the red car, who's being pursued.
One thing i noticed from this image. Just look at how huge the mountains look in perspective to the cars and road. I don't think we've seen much of scale-perspective like this so far. It really does show us how dominant the landscape is compared to the flatlands of Liberty City. Look at how small we will feel stood at the base of that mountain to the right... I love it!
This screenshot reminds me of the bottom left corner of the GTA:SA map.
I reckon the chase below the plane is a new randomly generated event ( Random Police Chases ), rather than a chase in one of the main story missions. I mean how does it help the other guys in the red car with Trevor being in a plane that has no armaments? What is he going to do, perform a fly-by on the the cops with a sub machine gun........................ .............hey actually that sounds pretty good.

It always bothered me that I could never make CJ look as cool as that shirtless Vago. Fingers crossed for better tattoos (that cover a larger area) in V.
The Vagos were, by far, my favorite gang.
or better yet place able tattoos, meaning you can put them wherever you want, and have multiple on the same body part.

I think i read somewhere that JC2 is 400sq miles. GTAV is 20-30sq miles... JC2's map was so repetitive and lifeless though, you wont get that in GTA.
That sounds about right. It is not the size that matters but what you do with it.

2pac is a must for gta 5 radio, he IS LA/west coast. But they didn't even have B.I.G. in gta 4 and he was the 2pac of the east coast/NYC.
Idk if they'll have kendrick lamar in the game cus a characters name is lamar but hopefully. Rockstar has always been putting songs and genres of the time of the game, so don't be suprised if u see lil wayne/YMCMB and all the alternitive rock crap u hear these days
You mean Tupac was the Biggie Smalls of the West Coast, Biggie > Pac.

I'm wondering.. even if you jump in a dumpster and wait it out, while still in the radius, will the cops eventually stop looking if they cant find you.
sounds likely. or hide in dumpster and watch them pass, then get out and run in the other direction

it could be one of the other families sets. like Seville boulevard families or Temple Drive. there is always that possibility. or a whole other set. it would be nice if it was grove though just for nostalgia sake.

You know how there will be crews in gta 5 mp, well i hope they incorporate an allies type thing between crews, it would be cool to see an member from an ally crew and fuck shit up with them, and if they have crew only abilities such as multiplayer heists, and such.

that would be awesome to actually be able to use them, because i hated how in 4 the cars would just slide off. it would be pretty cool to have a friend drive off the top in the opposite direction of you while you are bieng chased and to see him total the car chasing you.

Read "The Most Dangerous Game". Fascinating short story about hunting and being hunted. Would love to re-enact that story in a Free Roam.
That was an amazing book. it would be dope to re-enact it in hardcore mode, so that you don't show up on the map, and you have no blip on your head.

I'm definitely looking forward to getting my use from the new "flipping the bird" feature. I'm gonna be flipping off cops, bikers, hookers, gang members, dogs, mo fuckas at da gym and random ass people especially. Thats really gonna brighten my day.
