  1. Also, though they aren't metal as such, Thin Lizzy were awesome. Just saying.

One of the greatest. But I can't fucking believe they're still together after the death of Phil Lynott. They're coming to town and I refuse to see them because it's basically a cover band. Plus they're coming with Priest and I have already seen them and since KK left, its gonna be terrible lol. BLS is playing though, but that's not worth all the money.

I've been going the faster the better lately.

    SADUS!

New Morbid Angel album is available. All I can say is...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Some of the finer moments follow....

    LMAO!!!! What a disgrace!

Speaking of Death, I can't wait for the remixed "Human" to come out. Finally, you'll be able to properly hear DiGiorgio's bass. Also, there was the remastered "Sound Of Perseverance" that came out not long ago, but the original version is fucking awesome, so it didn't really need remastering.

I too am ridiculously excited for the remaster of Human. I try my hardest to hear Steve's bass but I can barely hear it except in certain parts of songs. I'm also eager for them to remaster Individual Thought Patterns. The album always seemed to have sort of a film over the sound. It could be a lot more crisp, and of course the bass needs to be turned up. Sound of Perseverance remaster? What was different about that?

Preview of new Morbid Angel album

    Doesn't sound bad.

I think it sounds absolutely awful! WTF? LOL wow I'm blown away by this crap, but not surprised. R.I.P. Morbid Angel 1989-1993

I take it you've never bothered to listen to Domination? Brilliant album. Those audio samples sound pretty awful, though. Hopefully they just forgot to provide samples of all the groove.

Album of 2011: Primordial - Redemption at the Puritan's Hand. Don't bother buying any other music this year, we already have a winner.

Woops, typo. 1989-1995 lol. I'll definitely check Primordial out.

Btw, the remaster of Lack of Comprehension has been posted on the Death (Official) Facebook page. FUCKING KILLER! The drums are so much crisper, the bass is audible and heavy as fuck, which adds to the heaviness of the song, and the vocals sound so vicious.

  5. Another forum, another metal topic. :)

Bands i'm frequently listening to atm:

    Watchtower

I too have been listening to a lot of Watchtower lately. Them, Melechesh, Ripping Corpse, and Deicide have been the newest additions to my rotation. I've always listened to them, but they've entered the cycle again haha. Some great ones there. All sooo evil.

Iced Earth is turning into an Anthrax-style parody band. What next? Schaffer starting a "super" group with members of some shitty emo-pop band? Seriously though, i only kind of like 2 albums IE have released (Night Of The Stormrider, and Horror Show, if you're wondering), and even then, there's only so much galloping guitar riffs one can take.

Hahaha, those are some interesting picks for your preference. If you haven't I highly recommend Burnt Offerings as I find it's there best. Something Wicked is a great one too. But yes, both Iced Earth and power metal as a whole are dead. Those still making it are jokes. I miss the 80's (not that I was alive) for when it was so powerful.. Maiden.. Helstar.. Pantera's glam/power days.. So many greats. What next? I don't even want to know.

So, only 24 days until I see the Big 4's only U.S. date. I'm starting to get metal ants in my pants.
