    Why is car modification unserious while shooting a pedestrian while riding a moped wearing a clownsuit is serious?

    For the unserious aspects of the game, i'd like to see dildo suits and cheats return. But especiallly the dildo suit. then you could run in to peds, killing them with the massive fake phallus swinging from your apparel of fasion. Imagine the gameplay mechanics.

    shouldn't this topic be merged with the "What are you looking for in GTA 5?" topic, massacre? <_<.

    TF edit: Or we just get rid of the posts that fit there instead of here.

    That would be hilarious!! I would like the cheats where you pressed buttons back. NOT those dumbass phone numbers!!

    Haven't you made this topic before?

    Yes, but my old account got closed down for some reason. So I remade it on this account.

    I hope the tone is similar to that of Red Dead Redemption. It was largely humorous throughout (and no doubt GTA V will up the satire) but had its poignant and introspective moments, like Dutch van der Linde's last scene. Having said that, I hope this GTA manages to conjure something more evocative with its main story; the the death of either Roman or Kate didn't feel at all shocking or devastating, just shallow.

    It's a tough balance. Dan Houser seems to be too caught up in his wit to bring something emotional to the table.

    I agree. The whole Roman and Kate thing was shallow as you said.

    Once Dimitri asked you to work with him or not, you knew something would deffinetly happen to Roman. I must admit, I was a bit shocked at Kate's death. I was sorta thinking Mallorie.

    Hey y'all. I have some information that many of you have been waiting for. A friend of mine has access to something called the "Deep Web" which is the black market internet; FBI can't monitor it. Anyway, he said he found information from Rockstar itself on there and it said the release date for GTA 5 is May 1st, 2012. I took part in the "Guess the Release Date Competition" and submitted 05/01/2012 as my official guess. If my friend wasn't bullshittin' me and the game will be released then, I could win a free copy of the game. My friend also stated that there will NOT be a 2nd trailer, and that Dan Houser isn't revealing more info because he wants the first trailer and lack of info about the game to get people wondering and then just release the game. So the Deep Web says Dan Houser is gonna give us the game b4 Max Payne 3. If I'm wrong, I apologize for getting anyone's hopes up. This is just something I heard from my friend. He has access to the Deep Wen, if anyone knows what that even is. I've never seen it for myself, but I know it exists.

    I've heard of the "Deep Web." I don't know much on it but I heard it's very good. I'm hoping this is real, even if it's not though, nice post and atleast you're not trying to shove it down our throats:p

    Nice theory. Personally I have mixed emotions on it, I think a "narrative" type of story would be great and different. It would be "A bold new direction." Though in saying that GTA has always been what the protagonist is doing in the present and not telling a story on his past. I don't think Rockstar would ever want to change that.

    I would love it though if the first set of missions are set in the protagonist's past. I heard he moved to Los Santos from Vice City, so playing a few missions there would be good fun.

    Again, nice theory.

    In the trailer u can see in aces liquors door so maybe we can go in there and by booze:)

    problem with that is that, in gta iv we can also see liquor stores, but cannot be accessed so that, doesn't really mean anything.

    I am not talking about the trailer mates, do you remember that picture in the amusement park for example, it gave us the exact location where V was going to be. yet we all ignore it because we had no idea.

    the trailer has been analyzed we all know that.

    but I was wondering if we were missing anything in 4 or maybe its precursors. I remember going around every corner looking at the details not because I was looking for a clue, but just because I was admiring the amount of details, this was way before any gtav talk was out there.

    on the other hand we could have missed something because it was an obvious omission, like proofreading your own papers.

    Well, it could mean something. What better way to celebrate one of the Third Era GTAs (Vice City) by beginning the Fifth Era?!

    I know a better way. Releasing a commemorative action figure like they did with GTA3 that's actually related to Vice City rather than a radically different game.

    I would love to see that.
