I honestly think R* isn't actually going to go that far, its not a gruesome, blow you apart, game. In the trailer you can visibly see how colorful and vibrant the games atmosphere was, I just can't see them putting such grusome stuff in the game, its not like FallOut 3 where your wandering around a burned down desolate world, its the exact opposite actually.
Don't get me wrong id love to have the game with blown off arms and heads and everything inbetween but its so out there and untouched by sandbox games and really most games in general that for R* to make that leep to it, I can't see that game being GTAV.

The only real reason I can see R* putting different variants of AK's, M4's, Shotguns(such as ones with fullstocks/pistol grips, wood/synthetic stocks), pistols, smgs, etc is to express the black market sales, because not every gang member has the same AK or 9mm they are different in some way, different mag, stock, sights, design.
Only game ive seen come close to that kind of thing is Medal of Honor, if you've ever played through the campaign you may have noticed the different kinds of AK's through out the game that the terrorists had, this is because the terrorists aren't buying factory fresh brand new AK's, their buying a truckload of AK's from different factories all around the world put into one and sold at a surplus price. This may be going off topic but its just a brief example of what im talking about.

Too much gore and the game will probably get an AO rating, and be banned in every country. So I doubt the extreme will happen with "blowing people in half" in HD graphics.
Blowing people in half is a little dramatic but they should implement something similar to that when up close shooting or hitting somone with a high power rifle, grenade, or RPG.

I don't think blowing people in half and slicing them into little pieces is necessary, but visible gunshot damage (kind of like RDR, but improved) is fine, in my opinion.

Something that really annoyed me in Gta sa and gta 4, is that the weapons are not different. for example, they write AK. There are so many AKs and you don't know with which one u are shooting, Akm, Ak-47, Ak-2, AK-14,or any other aks. In battlefield 3, it is better. So please say if you agree that the weapons will be similar in Gta 5, to the ones in Battlefield 3
Theres no such thing as a AK-2 or a ak-14 dumbass. Hop off BF3's dick and pick up a fucking gun magazine before you try acting like you know what your talking about.

I think they should get it as close to real life as possible. I don't understand why people want a game to be less realistic. It doesn't make any sense to me.

Anyone else notice in IV how the police often killed civilians? The people they are sworn to protect? Like if I shoot the burger shot guy and run out with everyone else id always "use" civilians as buffers between me and the cops when their shooting and they would unmercifully shoot civilians to kill me. Or simply hit them with their squad car when trying to arrest/kill me. Lots of things need to be improved in that department.

You also have to factor in that Fallout is run on a different software engine than what R* runs on.

A boy can only dream I suppose. Also, I think it would be worth putting in, because in real life when you shoot somone up close with a shotgun it does serious damage. Hit someone with a slug up close and it could very well blow you in half.
Just adds to the realism of the whole firefights, and not just limiting it to shotguns, any gun pistols rifles shoot somone in the hand they can't use it anymore. Shoot somone in the leg, they can't walk, and the slowly bleed out.

I don't think anyones covered this, but I personnally think that GTA 5 would keep its replay value and just be so much more BadAss if could walk up to somebody with a 12 gauge and blow them in half, im not talking about some bullshit spray of blood, im taking blow their fucking body into two pieces.
Now that may be a little to much for todays technology, but if R* could impliment some sort of head blown off, hand, leg, etc... into the game it would make it so much more intense and make the player feel likes he has more godly power when choosing how to end someone in the game.

Could be, that in order to race you have to have a really expensive car that you have to upgrade to racing standards. And it has to bought because you have to get the upgrade at a actualcar upgrade place not a chop shop that you could take cheaper cars there to upgrade, no questions asked.

I think a casino is a sensible suggestion. I would like to gamble all my money and either losing or winning having a major effect on my characters lifestyle. For example, if i lose all my cash, my safehouse gets repossessed, and i have to save down at the bum village. If i win big, i have access to big houses up in vinewood, and the top shops.
You could wager your houses and property if you ran out of money, resulting in you becoming a bum if you loose.

If this game has gas it better fucking have matches
( i like fire ) but i could rip a hole in the fuel tank hitting a jump or car and sprays all over some people - ill toss some matches out and just drive off. now thats classy.

For some reason, I can't see a old abandoned town in CA. We got tons of that shit down here in the dirty south, but I don't think they have that kind of thing over there.

Definatly agree with negotiations. A cop should never try to kill unless you pose a threat to them such as pulling out a weapon.
Very much agree, I hated how when you get cornered in IV and throw your hands up and then decide to flee and are suddenly fired on by a firing squad of fat ass cops and must, in most cases return fire to save your health/self and get away raising your wanted level rather than just having a nice old foot pursuit through the alleyways. Police and SWAT shouldn't suicide run into the Burger Shot or Hospital when your held up in there behind the counter with your grenades and AK's, they should wait and devise a plan to temperaily subdue you and end your life if need be.

It would just be another feature that adds to the realism. Mostly pointless, yes, but in the back of your head when your driving around a really nice car, you know of the possiblity of having to refuel soon, thus with that mind thought the realism and enjoyment of the game rises.
