  1. There's some lag to be sure, but it doesn't take away from the overall experience. After loading my saved game, I need to wait about 30 seconds until the world catches up with itself, and sometimes the same will happen when I plow through a horde. At this point, I just blame Xbox for it and move on.

  2. I like Ryan for his performances in Lars and the Real Girl and The Believer. Lars has him as a neurotic anti-social odd ball who forms a relationship with a sex doll when his brothers wife prepares to have a baby. Reminds me of me. The Believer is his best work imo. He plays a charasmatic neo-nazi punk that's actually Jewish. It's based on a true story to make the whole thing more fun.

I did like Driver, but I went in with no expectations, only having heard there was actual stunt driving in it.

  3. Hello all , I've been lurking around these forums ever since trailer one was announced and decided that I want ins on the abuse from other members :faplight: . I'm from San Diego and have a love for Hip-Hop (or underground if that what you want to refer to it as) and old school Gangsta Rap. Non of that gay lil wayne or 2chains shit. Well heres a toke to all of the member abuse to come my way !

Welcome to the forums, my wigger. That's all the abuse I have at the moment.

  4. Qd, I took your recommendation and watched "John Dies in the End." Got a big kick out of it. And I totally agree with your 8/10 rating. Good fun. If you want to see the director's earlier films, check out "Phantasm." Great 80's horror. There's a second and third film in the series which aren't as good as the original, but have their charm.

I just finished watching "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone," and was pleasantly surprised. Steve Carell, Steve Buscemi, and Jim Carrey star in this sleeper comedy about magicians. The Steves are the classic magician types over Las Vegas, and Jim a Criss Angel. A magicians war ensues. Tis movie marks the first time in a decade that Jim Carrey has made me laugh.

  5. Hey Beatnic: how big is the map, would you say?

I'll go ahead and say it feels big, as I've no data to offer. Walking from one town to another can take forever, especially with zombies all about. Driving is quicker, though not always safer. Sill, a drive can feel long, but not boring. Bowling for zombies in a pick up is a bloody blast!

There are three major towns, farmland (with a crashed passenger plane in a field) a campground, backwoods hicks, and a bit more. I'll guess Vice City sized.

  6. I had thought I'd seen a casino looking building in Trevor's trailer. Upon further inspection it was the "Whirligig Theater." So still only speculation on the casino. But since gambling is only legal on Native American reservations (outside of Nevada), I think it's safe to further speculate that if there is a casino, there will be the first GTA Injun reservation.
