  1. I found the bike stunting abilities to be quite limited, compared to the earlier games. I have to ride around making stunt points, and more importantly, avoiding those unique stunt jumps which are planned. After 100% twice, there really is not that much to do after game completion except look for decent stunting grounds. I've ran across a few, but it is just very different from the days of VC and SA bike stunting, which were epic. Hopefully the next game will have more stunting opportunities. Bring on GTA V.

  2. The ending fucking sucks.

Why isn't there an end boss? It's just "Stand here and shoot mutants while the computer loads these files."

What difficulty setting were you on?

I'm just about to get 100%, still finishing up gold in the races. Everything else pretty much gathered or completed.

I agree the ending sucks, but for a different reason.

It happens too quickly in the game progression. On the harder difficulties, there is just more of those retarded Enclave Muties, er I mean Authority....

  3. It was censored? Fuck that sucks :-(

Well the fact is I remember getting full on 3-point kills on hardcore mode of the original game,

which were much more gruesome, and that game wasn't censored.

As always there was eventually hacks and cracks to get around it, however if you were a fan

of the original Manhunt, and bought #2 for PS2 on release day....big surprise.

R* made the censoring look like he was having a scrambled hallucination, basically blurring out the kill.

Some of the walk through videos on YouTube, were captured using FRAPS on the PC version

using a work around disabling the censored graphics.

They show everything, and IMHO it was not worth the censoring, we same the same things in other games.

Found another one, and this guy explains in the text how to get around the filtering:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QcAzeCfopCY&feature=related

  4. I completed Manhunt on normal and hardcore mode twice each for PS2. Great game.

I actually found the soundtrack online a few years back and downloaded the entire score.

Still have Manhunt for PC that I need to go through at some point.

The second game had the kill scene censoring going on, instant turn off.

I never finished the second because of that reason, it just wasn't the same.

  5. you guys better still be here when I need help, I'm still in OWB :wall:

    WTF?

Dude, we are ALWAYS here to help for Fallout games.

While each of us may take a different strategy, we'll always get you through it.

Just ask what part you need help on.

  6. the world is really fucking cool, i just wish the rest of it was as cool... no harm done though, i got to check it out for a few bucks :D...

That's the important part, checking out how cool it is. B)

I can't put it down because I am deeply involved with the racing circuit.

That and this play through, I have triple the money, so I can invest in stuff more.

Also making sure I have all the collector cards to beat Teague at her game!

It's an FPS, from Id Software, and that is not for everyone.

I grew up playing Wolf, DOOM, and Quake by these guys.

    GTA and Fallout came later.

So for me, it's a great FPS but note it's not for everyone.

Those who started out on 3rd person view games, will probably never like this style.

Try fighting the 2-story tall mutants without pissing your pants L0L

So I modified the first page of this thread to reflect anything you need to help you in the game.

The missions may seem repetitive but once you move up in skill to harder, it gets extremely challenging.

I'll end up finishing the game on hardcore mode, which was nightmare skill, on the old DOOM and Quake games.

Man those were the days and Id keeps it coming. I think they got Bethesda just to be an Executive Producer,

as they have the experience from Fallout in the wasteland. Plus they made Id put some Fallout cudos in the game.

I've still to date never seen a more gory place than the medical facility which I am savoring on this play through.

  7. abilene can be found where my current character resides, field's shack... however, with the wild wasteland perk it only appears with rex in your party when you bring him to field's shack... which reminds me, i need to recruit rex to see this lassie easter egg ...

It's a well that someone fell down into and died. Near the Northern Passage.

Not much loot in there, but the dialog between Rex and the Courier is funny.

  8. don't you get 2 chances to visit "every" location?!... i've re-entered ghost-something and the raider garage a couple times... but cool, i will just press on through... i hear talk of a subway town, which i haven't been to yet either, and now you've mentioned redstone... i am probably half-way if not just slightly past that point... i won't get much of a chance to play in the next few days so i will have to rent it again...

Some missions have you go back to those locations.

The locations close some areas after each mission.

[so secrets can't be found after a certain point]

The substantial/essence is only available during their missions.

After which, anything special that could be found, is lost.

The Wolfenstein easter egg is gone early. The Quake easter egg can still be had.

About the DOOM easter egg, this one is a bit more tricky but I think I can still get to it.

The prison in Southern Valley is completely closed after the escape mission.

Subway Town is the second disc. The missions mainly surround the Resistance.

Redstone dissappears after the first Subway mission, and the Authority moves in.

The Authority is like the Enclave in Fallout.

The Authority HQ is not accessible at all after the final mission, as the game ends there.

They were the first military ark inhabitants.

The General decided to alter the time table of the other arks on Earth.

So that his would be the only "authority" from the past, running the present day.

Evil son of a bitch that he is.

  9. Holy shizznit, I just found a second giant mutie, in the Plateau Sewers.

He has a Flame Dropper, similar to the Heavy Incinerator in Fallout.

Also, he will crush your sentry bots like they are fucking ants.

The regular muties charging all the time just like in the other sewers,

but thankfully the giant can't fit in the area, so I just lobbed wingsticks,

HE grenades, then ducked behind a pillar, then fire off bursts from the assault rifle,

and using pop rockets in the combat shotgun for the kill. I can't say

how many times I have under-estimated the effectiveness of the wingsticks.

Needless to say I am finishing up all the primary sewer missions before

doing the secondaries found on the job board in Wellsprings.

Always keep plenty of Wingsticks on the quick-use button, they are awesome.

the last thing i did was blow up some bunker full of RC cars, about how far into the game am i?? i am thinking i might actually try to beat the game now since i am rolling thru the missions right now... i just wonder if i have to re-rent it... the authority hasnt even made it's pressence yet...

Yep the Shrouded Clan - you'll get 2 chances to visit that place.

The first, I always use the sawed off shotgun with pop rockers for the bosses.

The other shrouded clan are just like the ghosts or the gearheads, kind of dumb really.

If you are just going for storyline, you'll be done in a few more hours.

Soon you will go to disc 2 if on the XBox360 and then Redstone's missions

go very quickly. Too much to do for me, to just do story.

But for a rental, keep going mang, it goes quickly.

You should be able to do the entire storyline rental style in a weekend.

When I do the hardcore mode for the achievement, I'll just be doing story mode.

  10. Much as I enjoy it, I do regret buying it. It's a good game, I just wish I'd waited a few months. Not worth $60, in my opinion.

I have to agree. We're used to games like GTA and Fallout, which take a long time.

This game would be worth the sixty if it had another 15-20 hours of story.

Another thing I don't like is if you want to go for the 100% completion, some places close early.

Now on my second play through, I'm taking it even slower because i want to get everything.

It's more Id than Bethesda IMHO, and there are 3 easter eggs, for each of the legacy Id games,

Wolfenstein, Doom, and Quake. When I found them it's like meh, another bobblehead that no one

will collect. Everything that they say is rare, might as well sell to keep yourself in supplies.

Some of the stuff is very well hidden, and my deck of cards still can't stand up against Teague's hardest deck.

I guess one of the highlights I like besides the field goals are the advanced sentry bots and turrets.

  11. I haven't gotten very far, and I haven't been paying attention to some of the names, but I think Wellsprings is more like Megaton.

I just got to Wellspriings. The little town looks pretty nice, in a weird wastelandish kinda way. :)

Wellsprings, as in there is a well underneath.

Good place to stop the storyline for some fun.

I can't get enough of the field goals.

Get on your Jetter and find the 3 of them.

The first is by your ark. Go all the way to

the bottom where you can't drive anymore.

Spot the field goal, back up, and NOS into the rail.

If you do it right, you'll fly over the handle bars.

If you make a field goal, an air horn will sound.

Get all 3 for the achievement, by then you'll be addicted.

I've been trying to see how far I can launch even after getting it.

  12. Had I known this beforehand, I would've gotten it for PS3 instead of PC...

Well I seriously hope you didn't buy the PC version just because I said you would love

the blood dripping from the walls of the medical facility. This is an ID game like DOOM,

and doesn't come close to the Fallout games. It's an FPS, with some new twists like the

awesome wingstick, the schematic to upgrade it to the advanced wingstick, and combat

and racing using vehicles. The storyline of ID games will never be as cool as Fallout.

This story line is just that, extremely short. It's the skill levels of easy/normal/hard/ultra

which make it more worthwhile, and the new side stuff which they've thrown in that make it RAGE.

I guess there's no reason for spoilers when you get to disc 2 - don't go past the power plant

mission for Redstone because that is when the Authority starts to hone in on the game ending.

Don't get me wrong, there is NO reason to fear the Authority or any of the wastelanders'

bullshit gossip and talk, it's all crap, now that I know it I fear nothing.

I have a save before the end where I am doing all the exploring in the Eastern Wasteland,

and you will be able to travel back to Wellsprings on the first disc. But it is not Fallout.

Also I found it very uncool that they made the sewer missions a DLC.

Anyway, just explore everything you can without doing the storyline. That's the way

that I figure I'm getting my money's worth, by having lots of items to sell for cash

and then making all the unique items with schematics, and the races.

The Rocket Rallies are very different than the Combat Races, but I am going for all

of those as well. The 3rd delivery mission in Wellsprings is fucking mega-hard,

and I'm playing on EASY level.

That's another re-playability, I'm not even on normal, hard, or ultra-hard level.

Like the old DOOM and Quake games, that's how these guys roll.

Try playing through those "beautiful graphics" on hard skill mode.

You'll get an achievement if you make it. Will take me years L0L.

One thing that helps me is the advanced wingstick, stock up on those awesome babies.

  13. however, it still doesn't explain which courier dropped ED-E off in primm...

maybe it was just another courier who was a nobody...

i wouldn't think ulysses would just drop off ED-E considering the events of the divide and the tie-in he has to the story...

    (Y) Dude you are so Fallout

advance time 3 more days in novac, then return to the shack... the deathclaws now spawn all around me... FUCK!!! harper's shack has been officially ruined... and it's that damn prospector that spawned up there for some reason... he was walking down the mountain, as if he were leaving dead wind cavern... and he brought hell with him...

ohh well, i got ED-E's new features and he's a mobile work/reloading bench... now i gotta find a place with a bed and campfire and a couple crates and i am set :D, preferably indoors... too bad about that harper's shack thing though... i was really looking forward to that being my personal pad :(...

I told you that those Deathclaws would fuck up that place you found.

Sniper's Nest and ED-E...all you need, if you don't have the Lucky 38.

You got campfire cooking, and both re-loading and work benches.

    :D

Now onto complaints. Why can't we lay our own traps? After we trigger or disarm a trap' date=' we should automatically pick up the supplies it was made with and be able to replace them, or made the supplies at a crafting table. Drop two tripwire weights, and if you click them while crouched, you get the option to connect them and form a tripwire. Then, you drop any number of rigged shotguns on the ground or stick grenade bouquets on a wall or ceiling (you could just throw them and they'd stick to whatever they hit, so they could also be a weapon instead of a trap) and click them while crouched, and you can connect them to the tripwire.

Also, we should be able to pick up the bear traps and reuse them wherever we want, and they should temporarily immobilize whatever triggers them.

    [/quote']

Can't you re-use traps with the G.E.C.K. on the PC version?

  14. It won't run. I try to run it, it opens up its own windowed blue screen error. I hate this game without even playing it. Fuck.

Got it sorted. Reminds me more of Borderlands than Fallout. That's not really a bad thing, but I'd prefer more Fallout elements. The graphics are shit, because it uses the 4k x 4k pixel textures from the consoles instead of the 8k x 8k meant for PC. I think there's a fix for it, but I don't think I can safely do it until after I've made my Skyrim upgrades.

Didn't get into it all that much, fucked up some bandits then played something else. I'm probably going to slowly beat the game in small installments instead of killing it in one shot, save it for the downtime between game releases.

I never played Borderlands, so I can't really compare.

What I have been comparing it to, is the ID games like DOOM and Quake.

I thought DOOM 3 looked awesome but lacked color, this game is much more powerful.

I was an ID fan for years, and they only come out with a game

every 3-5 years or so. It's definitely not like Fallout other than

the wasteland, a few bobbleheads, [Limited edition Vault-TEC bobblehead]

and the buying/selling element. There's no animals in the game as far as I've

seen and I just started disc 2. I think the heavily weaponed up vehicles are

scary enough to keep me indoors, after I got the few driving kills and the

race achievement, I rarely have the money to buy enough ammo to keep

the bandits and other cars away from blowing me up. I am trying to do all the

races first, then the rocket rallies second. Race no matter what is shooting at you,

but the rallies are a bit different point based system.

Also the mini-games are hilarious! The card game is 100 times easier than Caravan.

It's also really fun to watch, and compete in. The knife game is hard at first but you

will get the hang of it. The sheriff holo board game is also funny, but I haven't figured

out any one type of strategy, because I have no idea how to find one, it's a dice roll based game.

Actually I am loving the graphics on XBox 360 but it's scaled way

down from the memory raping PC version. Some of this shit looks totally realistic.

If I were to compare to Fallout 3 and FNV, those games would win hands

down as they have maps you can look at, and so many different items to

haul around. I miss the map like in Fallout and GTA games. Another thing

is the RPG factor and turn based fighting, as well as the ranking system

and perks that make Fallout so great. Not much of that, in fact I have only

gotten a couple of the stealth based achievements because once a few

guards are taken out in stealth, the rest are already now alerted.

Also I keep making bandages (like stimpacks) because I have a really

hard time with that defibrillator even after the upgrade. It's similar to

LB/RB/LB/RB in GTA and Call of Duty games. Match up the heart monitors.

  15. but, i have a strong feeling that the courier that brought the broken down ED-E to primm was you... the dude at the primm outpost mentioned that a courier brought it there, but he's old so i wouldn't expect him to remember which courier it was... perhaps it was ulysses??... dunno though of course...

bOnEs check out that write up called The Divide on the fallout Wiki.

    EDIT: Found it

    http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/The_Divide

Maybe you can decipher if it's actual, or someone's edit, like guessing.

Seems pretty authentic, and if so, my guess is both Nash at Primm is too old

to remember you, and the gunshot head wound made the memory loss.

As the courier, I would have remembered all that stuff. Some pretty heavy history.

I think if it's not a Bethesda author of the article, it was people making a story out

of all the computer terminals, holotapes, and notes in the New Vegas series.

Might answer your questions, as it's the final story that we have to live with.

  16. I haven't read any reviews, but I don't need to either. I just keep exploring.

Don't know about any linear path but for me it's like I have a replacement

for no new Fallout or GTA game. It's anything but boring to me. Doesn't seem

like just a first person shooter, a couple of times I have been down right freaked out.

I've never seen toxic goop, walls of blood, and flies so vivid before. Fairly psychotic.

At least, the medical facility, which seems to be the heart of some weird experiments.

I'm about to go for my 3rd delivery mission, and thinking about the 2nd battles in

this wild TV show called Mutant Bash TV or MB TV. [similar to Slash TV in GTA:LCS]

Like Fallout, after you accomplish some crazy shit, the town dwellers talk to you about it.

Also found quite a few ID based easter eggs relating to Wolfenstein and Doom. In going

for 100% completion, got the achievements going already, got 8 so far but there are quite

a lot of them to get. I'm sure I won't get 100% on the first play-through but it's still great.

  17. First day, 10 hours. This is an awesome game.

In a few words: Survival, action, horror, racing, and Fallout. A great combination.

For some reason on XBox360 it's not like the videos, it's softer, and runs really smooth.

The graphics and colors remind me of the Doom 3 engine but on steroids.

Even reminiscent of COD Modern Warfare. Once you realize where you are,

you can start learning, and this is a huge wasteland. Pick up and save everything.

The vehicles handle great and are easy to drive, like GTA and Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction.

There are many huge tributes to Fallout, and DOOM 3, and even to the likes of

GUN (western setting, side missions), Silent Hill (Massacre will love the walls of blood),

and in the early part I think they are paying homage to the Twisted Metal series.

Tied in with Twisted Metal, a tribute to GTA: Liberty City Stories, the survival TV game.

Some areas are just beautiful, others are toxic, fly-infested, poisonous, and deathly creepy.

The story line is pretty interesting and there is no shortage of things to do, work

to be done, races to run, mutants to kill, rare items to find, scavenging, making

engineering and medical supplies, and of course, going in to super scary places.

If you're going to rent this, I suggest you take a few days off, to get anything out of it.

I'm 10 hours in and barely scratched the surface. I pre-ordered for the 4 rare items

and they pay off immediately. If you like anything from ID or Bethesda, you are surely

    going to love this game.

  18. I figured out I am totally fucked as far as Mick and Ralph's go. I paid the dude at the Atomic Wrangler to raise my standing in Freeside, but I'm still listed as a DARK HERO and everyone hates my dick. Probably because I killed the Van Graffs, I guess they were tight with Mick and Ralph. I might go back and kill Mick and Ralph off, fuck them.

I think that whole area is Freeside Karma man. Depending on what you did with the Kings, the twins, and the Followers of the Apocalypse. I bet you can still fix this problem. I killed the Van Graffs after going through their missions up until they want you to kill Cass, then I played the Crimson Caravan lady against them and snuck in and stole both notes from both sides (Crimson Caravan and the Van Graffs), for the evidence. I didn't let Cass kill the CC lady, and then I killed the Van Graffs. I also did a shitton of missions for the Kings, the Followers, (including side rescue missions) and the missions for the twins at the casino bar across the street from the Van Graffs. Also I did the NCR lesbian's mission (raped by Cook-Cook) to get her hooked up with Dr.Usanagi for treatment, who is friends with the Followers doctor lady. All that shit must add up to good Freeside karma, I am guessing. The Katana has interesting points, and it's reminiscent of Vice City, but in my thinking it's not worth killing Mick and Ralph. Besides, they got bOnEs' hula girl music firing off in the front of their store. Course that will still be there if they dead.

Today XBox LIVE was offline for awhile, and I was worried about my new achievements. My Master of the Arsenal and Curios and Relics achievements just never showed up, and I have no idea why. So I don't know what's up with those not showing up on XBox LIVE. However when they came back online, to my surprise, two new ones that I had been working on, did authenticate, as I had followed the direction of my PiP-Boy. Got the achievement for the first 1-star GRA, by doing these three: Crippling 5 right arms with shotguns, Killing 15 ghouls via Maria and Gehenna, and then killing 10 Centaurs via Throwing Spears. That one is called Up to the Challenge. I guess they are only showing up in lowest to highest order. The second was Combat Veteran, the 2-star GRA, by doing these three: Killing Fiends and Vipers with my modified .44 Magnum, followed by killing 15 super mutants using the Bozar on the hostile ones and the Ripper on the ones up at Black Mountain, with no karma loss on the friendly ones. The final work for that achievement is quite the challenge, take out 5 of the Legion Assassin Squad with a .44 Magnum, part of "any weapons for the Cowboy perk" and I wanted to use the .44, but it was a challenge. I had to go basically 1 dude out of each attack as they are insanely talented as Massacre noted, and also due to the fact that I took the damn Mystery Stranger Girl perk er whatever during VATS so that she takes over and I didn't get the points. Besides you need to be wide awake during their attacks, to take them all out. I usually am, but not using pistols, I usually burn, bomb, or snipe them with the AMR. When I finally got the last one after an average of about 5-6 attacks, I just focused on the target dude, after VATS runs out, and kept shooting, until he went down and I got the achievement. Then I paused, switched to the Thump-Thump, loaded up some very lovely 40mm Plasma Grenades, and watched the party. As usual, total pwnage.

The 3-star GRA achievements are technically possible for me, but they will be very time consuming. I'm going with Sentry Bots via Lead Pipes, which I've already started at Las Vegas Steel, and the Cazadores via Long Fuse Dynamite, which will be tricky, but the hardest by far will be the adult Deathclaws by Switchblade. L0L. More to reality, I think I'll go Stealth Boy, and use a Silenced .22 Pistol and/or Dynamite for those bitches. That one could take years.

    ===============================================================================

Against my better judgment I checked the Fallout Wiki (dammit) and I did get all the achievements for The Lonesome Road. Also there were no achievements for finding all of Ulysses' Tapes, the History Lessons, the Ralphie Posters, or finding all the LR map locations, which I spent the time during the game to get all of those knocked out as usual. At least I get a sense of accomplishment out of this. I always say, get your money's worth.

    ===============================================================================

So I'm done for awhile. Set my champion girl up in the Lucky 38 with all her buddies ED-E, Boone, Cass, Veronica, and Raul, and devoted one of the weapons trunks to just the GRA weapons. Will get back to her in awhile, and do the last DLC for her file, Dead Money, and see if the ED-E problem has been fixed, because that is why I haven't done the DLC on this file. Because of the last time I did it, it screwed up ED-E. After doing Lonesome Road, surely you all see how important ED-E is to the game now. Tonight at midnight RAGE is delivered, but I'm not going to pick mine up until tomorrow, it's not like it's a GTA or Fallout game, besides tonight is a drinking night so no driving. It may be a wasteland game but it is still not a Fallout game.

Besides, there's no way that RAGE could be as fun as Fallout right?

Hey guys, what's up with the next Fallout game? :jumpy:

  19. I think that I've gotten all the new GRA weapons now, even the high dollar ones.

Funny after all this new heavy weaponry, I think I still like the Chainsaw best.

The Ripper mods are similar to the Chainsaw mods.

Someone here was saying the Katana is not at the Gun Runners,

well I can't remember which vendor I got it from but I have it with 3 mods.

It's still interesting that when you hit Y you can perform a special new move.

Also tonight found a 3rd mod for the GRA AMR, at the 188 over pass.

That's going to be the tricky bit, finding all the mods between vendors.

I've even seen traveling caravans selling some GRA stuff.

Thanks to the Legion and Fiends, finally I'm back up to over 200K caps.

I sold a ton of stuff to get the GRA weapons, but the trick is you have to

keep wiping out groups of losers and take all their shit. Plus making the

high value chems and food helps. Mostly I sold apparel and weapons. When

I see NCR and Fiends fighting, I just wait it out, see how much loot I can get.

Was going to do Dead Money but no time now, tomorrow night at midnight I pick up RAGE.

  20. I knocked out a bunch of the challenges for the Gun Runners. I couldn't find any listing of them in the game

They are in your PiP-Boy under Data/Misc/then hit Y for the challenges.

I won't be getting many of them simply because the targets are already dead like House, Caesar, etc.

I haven't been back to the Fallout Wiki since I found errors on their OWB write ups.

Someone at work did tell me though, there is a write up there under Lonesome Road

call "The Divide" and it explains what the Courier did before that Ulysses is talking about.

I have no idea if it's valid or fiction, but I certainly don't remember what is written there

as I had never been to the Divide before, and, well you'll have to read it for yourselves.

I don't go to the Wiki anymore.

If anyone was wondering what I meant by bOnEs was right again upon first play of Lonesome Road,

the answer is, he found the Hopeville Map in Old World Blues. (Y) Great work bOnEs.

  21. I just got an achievement after using the GRA weapons all day, called Master of the Arsenal.

However it hasn't shown up on my PC website for XBox achievements.

The Bozar is king so far, followed by the new AMR, 12.mm SMG, and the modded Chainaw rules.

I was just clearing out Raiders and the Mr. Steels from Vault 3, Zap's, over to NV Steel, and the

achievement icon popped up. Not sure what that was all about, but yeah, it hasn't shown up on Xbox.com

Just got the key to the Follower's safehouse, boy was that thing loaded up for a warm welcome.

I guess after Lonesome Road there was an ending option to become a Follower.

I won't be living there though, and the BoS Safehouse was just as cool if not cooler.

Funny you guys are talking about living places and decorating like we did in Fallout 3.

I lived in the corn farm house for a long time. Bootleggers place up by Northern Passage,

that place gave me well over 500 maize in the course of the game. Also nice and quiet.

No raiders, no Legion, no animals.....

By accident I employed, then fired, Cass and Veronica, sending them to the Lucky 38.

Then I realized they can all live there. So I sent Boone and ED-E there as well, along

with my 3,000 lbs. of shit from the Novac Hotel Room. Seeing how there is a work bench,

plus ED-E is fully upgrade for a work bench, re-loading bench, and weapons repair,

the only thing left wasn't even near Novac anyway. I've been cooking at Sniper's Nest,

because it is one of the only fast travel locations with a camp fire right there, plus storage.

Other than the sniper's kitchen, everything is at Lucky 38 along with Boone, Cass, Veronica and ED-E.

Have put a few things down like already mentioned Seymour, but also the Evil Gnome is on a

wardrobe closet L0L and the intact garden gnomes are hanging around. There's the Dino toys

and special race cars on the desk with all the NCR, Legion, and Pre-War money. I opted to upgrade

the suite with all the extra things so there's even a fridge just for the 100+ Nuka Colas, plus the

Victories, Quartz' and Sarsaparillas. I guess if you're gonna live in that creey place might as well do it right.

Another place that looked inviting on the living standards upgrade was moving into the presidential suite

at the Tops as well. That place is totally huge. Seemed like Benny's dead body didn't make it interesting.

Harpers Shack is a good call bOnEs. It really does have everything you need all in one place.

  22. I just bought most of the new GRA weapons after mortgaging my Lucky 38 Casino, and Presidential Suite.

I had over 250,000 caps before, now down to 100K or so. Most of the weapons are the same as regular

with the title (GRA) next to them. Some are new, the one I like the best is the chainsaw. I sold a ton of stuff,

mostly Legion and Raider crap with a bunch of Black Blood Sausage as it's worth a lot of money. Same for

the Thick Red Paste, another modification of the Thin Red Paste. After getting the comic book perk, sold

all but one of each of the comic books, some I had 30 of. Speaking of selling shit, I should've sold the CS crap.

Courier's Stash, what a ripoff. Sorry dude but that shotgun and lightweight armor are pathetic.

Any 2 shot weapon will get you killed in my wasteland, the reload time is easy death. Tried it against a

Deathclaw, and then compared to my Weathered 10mm. What a difference. Plus in the game beginning,

10mm ammo is everywhere when you are dirt poor. Even the guys at Gamestop love the W10mm, it just

takes down everything, and ammo is everywhere. By the way that Deathclaw shredded through that

crap armor like it was a tie-dyed T-shirt. L0L. Well we want all the Fallout stuff we can get right?

The grenade launcher is always valuable.

There is a unique Fatman called Esther (GRA) which was like 50,000 caps. Many weapons are well over 20K.

Also, don't buy the mod for the Assault Carbine thinking it will work for the Assault Carbine (GRA) because it won't.

The new AMR is black, still cool, and there are two new mods for it. I like it.

For the Thump -Thump, there's 2 new types of grenades. They want you to buy their grenade launcher but

I just went for the unique ammo, hopefully it will not be rare and GR will carry it in the future.

Haven't seen those throwing grenade clusters. I'm really only after heavy weaponry for my character.

Just went back after 2 days, the Vendortron will re-stock the rare ammo like the 2 new variants of 40mm grenades.

  23. I just finished the Courier's Mile, for the Warhead Hunter achievement.

That has got to be the single most hardest game in any of the Fallouts that I've played.

Can't believe how hard it was, my courier is maxed on all skills except medicine,

and I had to use my Alien Blaster, stay in Stealth Boys, and constantly use Radaway.

Had to use my hardest core armor, and remain in stealth for the entire thing.

I don't know you guys are going to get through this without an alien blaster.

Let me know how you did it, if you do.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok, now I can agree with you guys, it is a great DLC.

I just had to get through the hard parts, but the story is great.

After presenting Ulysses with the data from collecting

all of his tapes, how can he not like us. The dialog

was also there I think if you did not, but I got the

dialog for collecting all of them. In the end, he is

pretty wise about Caesar, the Legate, and both sides.

Still agree with bOnEs though, what the hell did I do

    in the Divide before......

Didn't get an achievement for his tapes, or the

finding of all the Divide History Lessons. Maybe there isn't one.

Other than that, got 5 of the achievements so far:

    Warhead Hunter

    Hometown Hero

    ED-Ecated

    Condemned to repeat it

    Rocket's Red Glare

    --------------------------------------------------------------------

Just checked and the Divide snow globe is in Lucky 38 as expected.

Also I put Seymour on a mantle nearby.

Wish I could've taken Stripe from the village in Old World Blues.

Stripe was much cooler than Rawr, but at least I made a weapon out of Rawr.
