  1. Sad Crawling for me. I finished in something like 16 mins. Kind of felt like I was being punished for some unknown crime. As rock crawlers go, though, it's probably quite good. My palate may not be sophisticated enough to appreciate it. Cheers anyhow. Side note: As mentioned elsewhere (I think) The Liberator is available in the Offroad vehicle class without purchase.
  2. Your "da sky" pic looks like the pre-release game art. Pretty effin' cool!
  3. Yup, gtagrl pointed out the best mission (currently) for making phat stacks, yo. Potshot is way too easy, and pays very well. If you're super-n00b like I was/still am, it might be helpful to know that you can find a playlist on Social Club and add it to the game from there. Then access it from the pause menu.
  4. The current Independence Day event playlist yields pretty decent RP. When you first load up the game there should be an option for "Event"... Triangle on PS3, I think. Or from the in-game pause menu, go to Online -> Playlists -> Rockstar... And find the Independence Day option. But don't listen to me. I suck at all things Online. Godspeed.
  5. Posting in a timely fashion for once... Paparazzi: Team USA and... their coach? ...trainer? Long shadows: Obligatory LSC meetup: "Don't make me show you the back of my hand!": Moar stuffs and things: Ace drove right into my living room: I showed up late for the Canadian Salute: --- Please tell me someone got some good shots of bOnEs/Ace carting my Sandking around...
  6. Might try to pretty this up a bit and try some variations before the Fourth: 'muhrica.
  7. Downgrading myself to a maybe. I tweaked my back and can't really sit in one spot for very long. Getting old blows.
  8. Yup. Wow, three of my very own Snapmatics in the banner this week. W00t!
  9. Guess I better hop to, lest I piss off The Beard... Oh, and uh... It's bOnEs!! I took a ton of pics of the Panto shenanigans, almost none of which look interesting without movement. But there's this: Nondescript dicking around: A couple o' Chatty Cathys: gtagrl's place for some drinks: Observe the hipster in his natural habitat: Thought I had some more good ones. Meh, ho vell. ---- One of these days I'm going to get in there right at 6. Maybe I'll just start skipping dinner. Or maybe food will become obsolete.
  10. Registering myself as an Official Potshot Solo-Grind Bandwagon Member. I can't emphasize enough how easy this mission is, even for someone with no appreciable combat skills (Hey, that's me!) I was wasting time before, driving up the hillside to snipe the baddies; driving right up to the front gate is way easier and no more dangerous. bOnEs is spot-on, should be able to net over $100k/hour. Ammo costs are negligible. RP is nothing special, but that's what other missions are for! Enjoy this one before Rockstar "fixes" it, folks. ---- Another thought - is there any advantage/disadvantage to grinding this one solo instead of with a pal or two? Any impact on payout/RP? If we're all occupying the same real estate on the map anyway, maybe I should poke my head outta my shell...
  11. mission playlists. potshots is easy if i recall http://socialclub.rockstargames.com/games/gtav/playlists/playlist/HSeiCc2QEUqug-t3x0Trgw http://socialclub.rockstargames.com/games/gtav/playlists/playlist/6uYa8yYIo02ye0RLFlyLvA http://socialclub.rockstargames.com/games/gtav/playlists/playlist/4VeWnuHcTUy_miCDpZsUsA "Potshot" is incredibly easy, thanks for that one! A solo grind of the playlist of 5 iterations takes under 30 mins and will pay a little over $50,000 total, along with something like 6500 RP (difficulty set to Hard). There are jobs that offer more of both, I'm sure, but I'd rather play a mission I can pass every time, even with my... limited skill set. At the start of the mission, drive up the hillside until you can see enemies below. Snipe someone - anyone - then head back down near where you spawned. The van will come around the bend and sniping the driver is pretty easy on foot as he approaches, or spray him with a SMG from behind if you need to give chase. Deliver the van, and don't worry, no one is chasing you.
  12. Probably in late, out early like always, but yeah... This guy wants to party all the time.
  13. SHOW ME YOUR DAMN SOUND SYSTEM!!!: Airport parking is a bitch: General wreckage: Yep. Way too much time in here. No idea why this was so much fun, but it was: Justice for a fallen comrade - fist through the thorax: Such a peaceful night, then it got kinda... explosion-y: Obligatory "everyone's on fire in the control tower" shot: Nice iFruit, bruh: Love this shot, except the shitty rendering of the crew logo : Stylin': Pier pressure: Nice vacation photo to close out the set:
  14. The spontaneous 5-star survival mini-challenge was pretty epic. Difficulty level went up when I Munson'd Weev's Emperor on the off ramp. Wheeeeee!!!
  15. My Snapmatic is clear and I'm ready to get my ass kicked in some deathmatches.
  16. Sorry Weev. Pulled in to LS Customs for a tracker and insurance, slapping the plate on is just kind of automatic at this point... I'll show myself out.
  17. Uh oh. Didn't even notice the plate. I am so idiot.
  18. BIG thanks to Weev for the ride! Started the night off on a nice note. The Cargobob/bus experiment was a barrel o' monkeys. Fun times goofing off (for lack of other options). I think some of you managed to get a job going but I was ready to call it a night. Oh, and I enjoyed your lovely singing voices during the rendition of Don't Stop Believin'. I was able to get some decent snaps, but missed more shots than I caught thanks to the glitchiness. Anyway... Love this truck. Weev, I think...? Contemplating mortality: The girls sit with hands folded, prim and proper: A couple of us stuck the landing on top of the lighthouse: Splashing around at the swimmin' hole: Deep-sea exploration: Deep-sea self-exploration: Classy ladies: What could go wrong? Oh... yeah... that... Uhhh, I think I missed my stop...
  19. Duty calls on the home front. I'll be along in a bit.
  20. Is there a more graceful way to jump into the crew session? I usually message a mod for an invite which isn't a problem, but it seems like there ought to be a better way... Also... Crew car? Is there something in particular I should be adding to my garage? I'm so n00b and need some hand-holding. Otherwise I'll show up in my shitty, barely modded Gauntlet...
  21. Giddy up. I finally joined the new millennium and got a mic, so I can seduce you all with my soothing bass.
  22. Last night I tried to start a Quick Job race just for kicks. Got dropped into a half-baked mission instead. Started out trapped in an invisible box like a goddamn mime and had to kill myself just to unfreeze. Objective was "Kill all the enemies" and once that was done, nothing. Only blips on the radar were my car and myself. Then started hearing other players even though no one was in my session. GTAO was possessed by spirits from beyond last night, folks.
  23. Evidently I took quite a few. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! Big Boss lookin' hard: gtagrl stayed like this for a disturbingly long time: Ace looks so tiny next to his Sandking: Shotgun with gtagrl: Night out on the town: Smokin': iGTA was here: More purty smoke: ...and purty MrMister: ----- In other news... The race at the airstrip with the ramps and weapon carnage was fun, definitely thumbs up to that. Also, the cop-chase race that started at Fort Zancudo was BADASS. I suck at anything resembling a deathmatch or capture, so I can't really render an opinion on those. I spent far more time respawning than doing anything else. All in all, great fun, and hats off to everyone who contributed their creations.
  24. I'll pop on for some shenanigans. Still sans mic, so I'll be doing my signature deaf/mute routine.
