wowwww... so should i just use junk weapons i have in my crate that i never use? i might have to look this up on youtube... i was wondering how people had these elaborate settlements, i just assumed it was something the PC crowd could do, i didn't know consoles had that ability ...
Can't believe you didn't know about that! It's a very useful glitch (understatement) which I've had to use several times to build my elaborate structures - it's not even had an effect on the FPS either.

Glad to see my local police force are big Fallout fans! https://www.facebook.com/164086573639613/photos/a.165878103460460.31319.164086573639613/982191465162449/?type=3&theater

Think I must've been living under a rock as I only found out about this the other week whilst I was browsing the store!
Anyway, the full trilogy is on offer at £15. After listening to 'Absolute Radio: 80's' at work for the past week or so, I've been itching to play Vice City again in particular! Having trophy support is a little bonus, but mainly I'm looking forward to the nostalgia trip.

On a side note, the real-life 'Dogmeat' has won an award:

Seems they removed that trailer as they used some AC artwork!
Anyway, finished the remastered versions of 1 & 2 - enjoyed both but combat frustrating, especially in the first one. Can't be bothered going for the platinums - was going to give it a try on 2 but lost patience (3/10 for difficulty on playstationtrophies.org - pfffttt... yeah right).
Uncharted 4 has been delayed again - now 10th May.

I picked up Syndicate last week for 19 quid and have to say its a pretty good game. I love London and the work they put into the architecture, the east end feels squalid and grotty as it should do and the west feels entirely different with better streetlamps and more greenery. I also like how they made the weather realistic and didn't just say "oh it's England therefore it's always raining."
The story isn't bad, pretty much what you'd expect;
although I expected someone to die at the end - well someone did but he was a templar.
Spoiler; templars die in this game.
Still haven't played it myself as I was put off somewhat by the crappiness of Unity. Have been reading the book though which is a great read.
Might end up playing it eventually but there's a back-log of games I want to play and I also need a bigger hard drive for my PS4.

Graphics look amazing.

Need a bigger PS4 hard-drive before I consider buying anymore games though!

Playing the second one now and being brutally honest, the combat is just marginally better.
Now stuck on the boss battle on the train which is ruining my whole experience of the whole game. I like challenges but I don't like being frustrated to the point I feel like snapping the game disc and throwing the whole fucking lot in the bin! (and I wish people didn't publish unhelpful Youtube video "walkthroughs" either).
-
Never played the Uncharted series before so I'm working my way through the remastered lot (which I got for Christmas) and just finished Drake's Fortune. Someone please tell me the combat gets better?! Riddle people with bullets and they still don't die.
Decent enough story though and reminds me a lot of Tombraider.

FUCK YEAH.
Buy the season pass before they raise the price on March 1st.
Yes, I'm very pleased with this news!
The Wasteland Workshop also includes a suite of new design options for your settlements like nixie tube lighting, letter kits, taxidermy and more!
Excellent! More ways to create rude and/or obnoxious messages and signs!
I don't have the season pass as I type, but this is now an urgent priority!
-
Hooray! They've finally listened! It became painfully obvious after Unity that it needed a rest - annual releases were killing the franchise, although I still appreciate the annual release of new AC novels.
-
Now completed the game - have to say that I too was disappointed with the endings but overall this is one of the best games I've ever played and easily makes it into my list of favourites.
I had intended to start playing something else but I had another idea for a structure so I built this! Couldn't think of anything witty to call it so just resorted to swearing! It's another 'cult' but a slightly more disturbing one.
Seating areas where people can have 'intelligent' discussions:
Area for the more disturbing individuals:
They'll watch as you sleep...
The torture pool:
The torture bin, where many are locked in whilst those watching laugh at their screams!
Founders of the cult:

Busy helping out the Railroad as I aim to get the last few trophies. Anyway, there's always the odd glitch and these two genuinely made me laugh!
Somehow Hancock ended up dying and the comments when trying to 'talk' to him were somewhat ironic!
He also ended up coming back to life headless!

Sheesh, try and be more specific next time, that was such a vague answer! You're as obsessively detail oriented as I am, so I appreciate that reply.
I haven't completed the game yet either, not even once, it's funny that Vicey and Massacre and DiO and IKILLYOU and others have already worked their way through multiple playthroughs. I get too distracted by shiny things...
I'm much the same, but I have vowed to complete it within the next week - I got Uncharted The Nathan Drake Collection for Christmas but I've been completely hooked on Fallout! (my 'Grand Designs' have took up most of my time).
Also trophy-chasing too as this is one game where getting the platinum should be straight forward.

Anyways, Here are my characters and what is awesome about their builds.
First up, Reginald Fessenden.
If you give a fuck why he is named that
I have just read The Stand by Stephen King... if you don't know about it, it is about the US during and after a virus decimates the population and turns it into an apocalyptic wasteland... the survivors are led by dreams to either the "good" side or "evil" side...
The leader of the evil side is known as Randall Flagg but has a number of pseudonyms, all with the initials RF... thought you were the Dark Man when I first saw it... your character even looks pretty close to how I imagined him... was quite disappointed by your explanation...
Never read the book, but watched the TV series based on it (going back about 20 years or so ago - it was on BBC 1 here in the UK). Brilliant 'mini-series' - Rob Lowe was in it if I remember correctly.
Always get reminded about it whenever I hear the song 'Don't Dream its Over' by Crowded House as that featured in it (good choice of song too!).

I've been a little childish.... again! Did this after completing the Covenant mission:
Sacrificed Jacob to the Gods!
We'll have none of that now I'm boss!

Thanks all! Have to admit, I've got a few other plans in place for the future for a couple of other settlements but for now, I want to plough on with the quests etc (and restock my materials!)
Gaz, how the fuck did you build so high?
I saw someone else on Youtube build a 'skyscraper' at the same location although he's on PC. He briefly described why you can build as high as this at some locations but not at others ( something to do with how high the terrain is I think.... or something like that). You can also build very high at Starlight Drive-in too, although I think Abernathy Farm is probably the better location in terms of how high you want to go.
Just thought I'd give it a bash and see how high I could go on PS4!
Despite all the materials used and the size of the structure, surprisingly I haven't experienced any frame-rate issues.
-
I've finally managed to finish my 'mega structure'. Not worked completely solidly on it as I have still done quests, scavenging etc.
It's taken a hell of a lot of materials so that involved quite a bit of travelling between Abernathy Farm, Diamond City and Goodneighbor to buy shipments of materials. Spent a good number of caps but most of it was made back anyway from selling stuff I had picked up from gunners, raiders etc.
Bit limited to what I could put in since I'm on PS4 - obviously far better settlements built by those on PC but I also made good use of the settlement size glitch (had to do it at least 4 times!)
Considering the amount of materials it took, it will be a good while before I try and build anything of this size again! It's not the most aesthetically pleasing - I screwed up a bit with the foundations, hence the messy corner.
Anyway, I had to think about what I wanted to build so I hit upon the idea of a 'religious' building. I then decided it was going to be for my own 'cult' so the 'Church of Gaz' was born!
Starting off with the boring bits - Abernathy Farm fenced off (found it better using the steel walls rather than the junk fences).
Main entrance area - reception desk and stairs down to the basement.
The basement - basically the workshop and generator room.
Refreshment area...
There was a letter or two that were problematic so got a bit lazy and just did 'small case' letters with the 'r' and 'n'.
Walking into the main hall:
No bibles or hymn books in this place!
Level one seating
Level 2 seating
Up on level 3
The 'posh' seating on level 3!
Top of the towers...
Looking down on Concord
As part of the cult, we sacrifice cats and neck a bottle of Gwinnett Ale!
After that, I'll be taking a rest from settlement building for a while!

Still working on my 'mega structure'. Got the actual main structure complete - just a case of filling it out with stuff (I know what it's going to be - all will be revealed once I complete it!) and then 'fencing off' the rest of Abernathy Farm.
It's taken a hell of a lot of materials - just a good job I have a lot of caps as I also do a lot of scavenging, clearing places out and selling what I collected.
These two screenshots show how high I've managed to build.

meh. All the bitches I try to hook up with tell me to fuck off. I got charisma of 6 so idk what is happening.
I've got charisma of 10 and still getting knocked back by Piper!
-
I'm upto level 56. Been trying to get my charisma up (almost there) so I can fuck Piper and then bin her off! Keeps hitting on me but always turns me down when I go to the romance option... daft bitch!

shabbagaz, your buildings are insane. Seriously. I tip my hat to you, sir.
I wasn't going to use energy weapons much my first playthrough, in the spirit of roleplaying something else further on...then grabbed Righteous Authority from my inventory once because low ammo, and took a real shine to it. Fixed it up real nice, it's one of the current favourites...till I level up and/or find something better.
btw, I'm wearing my Fallout shirt right now!
Cheers! Got big plans for Abernathy Farm at the moment but that's going to be a long term project in between exploring & scavenging. Also want to try and find some more Picket Fences magazines, if there are anymore (have only found about 2/3).
Will screenshot some of my house restoration projects!

Christ, playing this again reminded me just how frustrating it really is. Have got to 98% and have one more unique jump left to do..... don't know where the fuck it is! Have gone over each one again but still nothing.
Edit: Found the fucker! Found another guide which was more helpful than the Playstationtrophies.org one and I was able to find out where I went wrong.
