  1. I was wondering what the story DLC would be of. I think it will be between 2 things:

-A portion of the 20 years between the outbreak and the present, where it tells the story of Joel and Tommy's trip to Boston and what really happened between them that made Tommy leave.

-Ish's story, from the number of letters throughout the game. From the crashing of the boat on land, to the life in the sewer area, to it being overrun by infected and the escape and his true fate, which was never told.

What do you guys think should be the story DLC?

P.S.- At some point, San Fransisco should be in whatever story DLC they decide to do. Way back when they did some artwork on the city, but it was never in the full game. Here it is:

  2. I like this idea alot! Being able to load up your favorite cars or motorcycles would be sick! Imagine something like from Fast and The Furious.

Say you find an exotic car dealership you wanna rob with Ferraris, Lambo's, Bugatti's, Porshe, Aston Martin's Etc right. Have like a 5 or 6 man heist, Stick up Car Dealership, Pick up vehicles and you have to get away. Would love this Idea.

And then have the choice to sell them for a shit ton of money or keep them. That would be a badass mission.

  3. Why would he not be a long term solution? He would make Detroit contenders, therefore lowering his chances of bolting in FA. Rondo is one of the games best point guards, I don't understand your doubt of him being a long term franchise solution at the position. I also believe that Knight could have a breakout year, but not at the starting point guard spot. Either at shooting guard where he has played FAR better or off the bench as a combo guard and sixth man. His natural position is not at the point, he is similar to players like James Harden or especially CJ McCollum I believe that have the skills to be a point, but are more of a 2. I mean, 32 minutes and 4 assists a game doesn't really scream point guard to me.

  4. Just read some rumors for the Pistons getting Rondo. They should dump Monroe to clear up the front court for Rondo, with few other pieces involved. That would let Knight play his more natural shooting guard position and possibly move Caldwell Pope to small forward? and have Billups come off the bench.

Here is my projections if they get (Rondo for Monroe):

    PG- Rondo

    SG-Knight

    SF- Caldwell-Pope

    PF- Smith

    C-Drummond

    Sixth Man- Billups

I only really see one hole with that, and it's Pope's size in guarding bigger 3's. He needs to bulk up and get stronger, but is still uber athletic and has a sweet jumper. Other than that, you have a great play maker and defender at the point that will get it down low to the big guys, possibly the best young center in the league, a prized FA that can score in multiple ways at power forward, and a combo guard that can play at a very high level when not at the point. Plus, you have an experienced vet to mentor off the bench and still play pretty well. Plus, they have Tony Mitchell who seems like a stretch for and a huge value in the second round. He has the potential to play like a late lottery pick imo.

This definitely would make Detroit into a serious contender for the 4 or 5 seeds, along with the Nets, Cavs, and Knicks. Suddenly, the East doesn't look like such a joke anymore...

  5. ^this. It maybe could be used once or twice per game, but it is just a trendy offense that isn't trendy anymore. He has to find a position. If he can catch and run routes then he will be a vertical receiver to stretch out the D, if he can learn to hold on the ball better he will be a running back, and if he can't do any of those very well he will be a legitimate return man.

  6. I would of really liked to see him in a Lions uni. That would of solved our problem with finding a capable returner. But we got Corey Fuller and Theo Riddick later in the draft who are also good returners so the problem got solved anyway. Still disappointed that he didn't fall to us, his dynamic skill set would have fit perfectly in the offense at either receiver or running back.

  7. As much as I hate Michigan and everything associated with it, I respect Denard. Hope he succeeds at the next level, whatever position he plays. I could see him being a returner, who occasionally is put in on offense at any skill position. If Denard has even descent hands and route running skills, he could definitely be an at least respectable receiver with his blazing speed. If not, he will make an ok 2nd or 3rd option as a running back. It will be interesting to see what the Jags to with him.

  8. I'm still waiting for season 3 on netflix. Damn AMC for hardly ever airing re runs. I also need to watch the first half of season 5 of Breaking Bad, but can't do that either.

Speaking of The Walking Dead game...

Did any of you play through it yet? I watched a let's play of it and I can honestly say I enjoyed it more than S3 of the TV show.

I heard the game is terrible, at least the full game. Not the downloadable episodes.

  9. Even if he does get a shot, I doubt he will succeed. I mean he plays for the Raiders lol. They are right there with Jacksonville as the NFLs worst team. Although a McFadden-Pryor backfield sounds like fun to watch and a nightmare for defensive coordinators to gameplan for if Pryor develops into a descent passer and McFadden stays healthy.

  10. now watch their rag tag team of nobodies nearly make the playoffs and screw them over...

I would lol if philly got like an 8th seed and gets a midddle of the round pick.

I think half the problem, aside from the supposedly deep draft next year, is that noone really knows how to value mid-tier free agents yet. Some teams are still throwing money about but they understand now that if you screw up a transaction it'll hurt you. If you screw up a draft pick it won't sting as badly... unless you're Portland.

Greg Oden, Brandon Roy, Sam Bowie.... Would suck to be a fan of them..

  11. And Pryor is no Russell Wilson. He's bigger, but he really has no accuracy and has very little pocket presence. Pryor will have to play great to take the starting job, and he isn't capable of that. His success in college came purely from being too big for DBs and too fast for linebackers, but you can't take advantage of that in the NFL.

  12. I doubt that by completing the game, you will be able to buy any and everything. I bet that most of the higher end cars and houses will only be available to those who invest smartly in stock and businesses.
That would be a problem for me.I can't be smart in a videogame....i just can't.

All you have to do is buy up a few profitable businesses and reap the rewards.

I bet that most of the higher end cars and houses will only be available to those who invest smartly in stock and businesses.
I agree. Large amounts of money should be hard to make without investments. And all the best properties/ safehouses/ businesses/ weapons/ cars/ boats and planes should be exorbitantly expensive, so that it really feels like an achievement when you finally buy them. They should also only be unlocked towards the later stages of the game.

The reason for this is, if you get all the best things in the game too quickly, then there is nothing to work towards for the rest of the game. And the game can become a little bit tedious and counter-productive if you already have all the best stuff. That doesn't mean that you should have crappy stuff for the majority of the game. But there should be a slow trickle of unlocks, with the quality steadily building up, to keep the game feel fresh and to give the player a sense of accomplishment.

I do agree with your point completely, but R*, i'm pretty sure is looking, to make everything accessible from day one.

  13. Teams don't purposely tank? Let me tell you why that's bullshit... I mean look at the Sixers, they traded away an all star point guard for a high risk rookie that I don't believe will be back til December, not sure though. Philly clearly tanked for Andrew Wiggins.
