  1. I don't know if someone can verify this for me but I heard you can use world-props as weapons now. There should be a 'Bunch of Tools' store in GTA: V where you can buy/pickup tools such as a hammer like you could in GTA: Vice City. Would love to use tools as weapons again.

The only things that anyone can verify at this point is that it's set in Los Santos. Other than that, there are no hard facts backing any other speculations

  2. when You Get 1 star cops should pull you over with a ticket not automatically Your Busted!

Although that is a good idea, there may be an underlying reason that you are automatically busted regardless of the amount of stars you get, one possibly being that you are a full time criminal unlike the pedestrian who occasionally speeds or forgets to buckle up.

Yeah but at the beginning, what if you do not do crimes and shit and you get a ticket?

That's why I said there may be an underlying reason. It's still a good idea, but after reading this (http://www.gtaforums...howtopic=475147) I'm more leaning toward this system, especially the witness feature.

  3. Those look awesome! It was skatefluckit that actually inspired me to create an exact replica of that park in Pekin...and just make realistic parks in general. I had always fiddled with mega terrain, but after spending time on these websites, I've realized the amount of detail and work that goes into making realistic parks makes it more enjoyable to skate because you put that much more effort into it (Y)

    So thanks for sharing!

  4. BUFORD, Wyo. — What's advertised as the smallest town in the United States is scheduled to go up for auction next month.

Buford, located between Cheyenne and Laramie in southeast Wyoming, is famous for having just one inhabitant, Don Sammons.

    ht_buford_wyoming_jp_120312_wb.jpg

Buford sits at an elevation of 8,000 feet and is the highest town along Interstate 80 between New York and California. The area offers impressive views of the Rocky Mountains but is prone to extreme winds and frigid temperatures – even by Wyoming standards.

Foul weather shuts down I-80 between Cheyenne and Laramie at least a couple times during a typical winter. Each time that happens, Buford might as well be at the North Pole rather than next to one of the busiest cross-country thoroughfares in the U.S.

Assets up for sale will include a gas station and convenience store, a 1905 schoolhouse that has been used as an office, a cabin, a garage, 10 acres of land, and a three-bedroom home (all owned by Sammons).

Buford has its own ZIP code and post office boxes for people who live nearby.

It's a business opportunity that also offers a romantic lifestyle, said Amy Bates, chief marketing officer for Oklahoma City, Okla.-based Williams and Williams, which is handling the auction. Bidding will open at $100,000, she said.

"We're going to have a variety of people attracted to this property, based on what it would mean to them," Bates said.

World's smallest town going up for auction. Sad day for the nationwide attraction.

  5. poppers?? i get all kinds of primo-named shit... here's what i got at the moment... lemon cush and cinderella 99....
for real, half the time I don't know what's going around with all the crazy names for shit. Wanna get high can mean anything these days.

Exactly, if there is a name of some type of dro, there is a strain of the exact same make-up in another city with a different name. I understand the marketing aspect behind it, but I don't give a shit what it's called.

  7. They don't want you to be the player, they want you to experience what the character is experiencing from over his shoulder.

    Well said sir.

I still wouldn't be into it even if it were optional. A close-up of the character when you're in target mode would be enough for me. Driving a car would be a different story. Itd be really interesting if you could change to first person in a car and see yourself/facial expressions/word movements in the rear view. Wishful thinking.

Im not much for super-duper over the top vert. More tech street skating. vert like that is mostly luck. Street requires more skill.

I agree. Vert pretty much requires no skill, but it kills me when kids don't know how to pump! (They just ollie at the top of each vert ramp, haha)

Hardflip to manny to noseslide was sick at 2:45!

  9. Long time poster, first topic..

So I personally am addicted to the Skate series, 3 in particular. For me, it's always been a "go-to" game when I'm in between major titles mainly because of the replay value, smooth controls, and realism. Granted, the shit you can do in that game has it's limits, but there are quite a few "OH DAYUMN!" moments.

  10. Just bought SRIII yesterday out of desparation for something to keep me busy while I wait for Max Payne.

Plus, I couldn't find any other extreme sports games made by EA other than the 'Skate' series, which I'm addicted to. After reading through this thread, my anticipation has grown quite a bit, but I'm still skeptical.
