  1. Sigh, I'm really starting to get frustrated when people keep insisting Los Santos is small. Los Angeles' skyline is nowhere as large/development with skyscrapers as New York City's. Just because you aren't seeing a ton of skyscrapers doesn't mean LS is smaller than LC. URBAN SPRAWL. Jesus, just look up aerials of L.A. It's not that hard.

    Edit: Ta-da! http://upload.wikime...lifornia_01.jpg

well the thing is in this pic we see around 20-30 skycrappers, in the actual game I am looking to maybe around 5-10 lol.

  2. I would love these weapons

    : deagle or magnum

    : tazer or stun gun

    : g11 or g18

    : glock

    : m16 scarh ak47 mk14 g3c6

    : uzi teken36

: rpk or m60 please any heavy or big weapons please let me have bipod or the ablity to put the gun in the back of a pickup truck or SUV or 50. CAL in a humvee or on tank.

: baseball bat crowbar kinfe sword pipe trashcan

    : roshmore or spaz 12

: satchel charge semtex frag and flash bang

: Bazzooka or javelin or stinger for vechicle lock for tanks or choppers

I hope at least one of these weapons is made into the game :) lol sorry about no comas between weapon names.

    COD gun noob...... So annoying.

Yeah, some people want these guns and for GTA to be in first person. Seriously, what the fuck? Just go play fucking CoD...

I hate COD, and max payne 3 has become a cheap clone of COD, with the dual wielding heavily overpowered and the first person view on some weapons. COD is heavily unrealistic man, u see guys killing people with akimbo from miles away man wtf is that, same shit as max payne I hope they do not implement this stupidity in the game, and that there are absolutely no dual wielding on gta v, and if there is I hope is extremely inaccurate.

  3. i hate this aswell, expeshly when you get our of your new infurnis and a taxi decides to park on your head :wall:

this happened to me :( i restarted the game just to get ahold of that orrange infurnis again  not fun!!!

i think they should olny spawn around corners and behind walls *stuff we cant see through* not just out of our line of vission...

i didnt touch mutiplayer until after the storyline it seemed to be alot better there,

but then you olny had limited cars so it was a lose lose situation,

another thing what i want to see its every car used im mutiplayer and every console genorating there own vechiles so we got a better variety...

p.s. i with i could actuly use the spray can in gta san andreas to wright stuff on cars, it seems like it was just a usless feature outherwise

I have never ever seen someone type as bad as you.

  4. I agree that GTA4 did a good job at pulling off the realisim, but I dont always want that from GTA. I dont go "hey I want some realisim, lets play GTA". if I wanted realistic driving I would be playing GT5. I actually liked the driving in GTA4, but I think they could make it a little more managable.

lol realism true, that freaking game takes everything into account, up to a point where it matters what type of tires you are using....

of course we do not want that, but something that looks and feel realistic, as opposed to saints row for example that I can literally go 120mph and make a quick turn without stopping, and if I did stop the car would literally turn to much..... we do not want that and I believe I speak for most people here.

  5. Talking about heli and bike realism? Then you forgot to mention that heli is childish u can smack it so many times against buildings and it still fly. Make it realistic and then casuals would cry that they cant fly helicopter because it is destroyed so fast and they will whine about it instead to admit that they just suck and hate difficult games cuz they are so simple and they want simple games so why make complicated realistic helicopter maneuvering if rest aspect of this helicopter is simplified as .... In that kind of game people want to have simple fun without using their brain to much. U mention bikes too and shooting from them but did u know that u can aim gun using right hand and still accelerate? Dumb and not realistic but 99% of players even not notice it. Why? Because it is ONLY game for them so it is like alternative reality and things dont need to work like their counterparts in real life. Anyone would want to have their own car handling, helicopter handling, bike handling ect. ect. but R* decide how to do it so at least 60% of players will be happy. So forget that they would make it as u want. I would want it my way too. I hope they will make game configurable in mods and everyone will make their own handling of cars, bikes, planes ect. I did that for GTA4. But not everything is so easy to mod... to bad. I only hope that this time they will make life easier for moders and that way everyone would make game as they want it to be with using moding tools.

    (Y) what this guy said...

  6. Driver had a button that turned the steering wheel more, you could whip around corners better.

I agree with Massacre though, I felt I was driving so slow. But I'd rather have sim over arcade. I think they will slightly take away the sluggishness but keep it realistic. Increase speed, acc, handling slightly. And also not quite so top heave. Anytime I drove an SUV it almost flipped.

you know what that is actually truth, if they are sticking cars to the ground better as they previously mentioned this will probably not happen as often, in trucks, even in gta iv if you began turning left and right at high speeds in a cop car, the car could flip over, this led me to do amusing 2 wheel stunts with friends, to see who was able to drive in 2 wheels for the longest. this could be somewhat an improvements...

by the way massacre the button was R1 on the ps3, it was called handbreak, all you had to do was to pull it in a timed manner before making the turn and not after, this would lead to drifting the car, it was all about knowing the speed of the car, now if all you did while at gta iv was play with the infernus, I understand why you would have complaints about the handling, it drives like shit, and in my knowledge that is what most people did online anyways pick the lambos, to get away from other players with no problem.

but other slower cars such as the cop car for example (which has a medium speed) and can reach just as high speeds if you knew how to drive it well, could perfectly make turns at around 10-30 mph on quick turns, it was all about accelerating before making the turn, you see in the game at least, when you hit the gas while turning the car would either understeer or oversteer depending on the car, for example if you used "whatever the classic charger was called", make a slow turn and then accelerate, the car would oversteer making you spin around, if you used a heavier car, such as the cavalcade for example, the car would understeer in the same scenario, and accelerating would make you hit a pole or whatever was in the angle as soon as you began accelerating.

I am not trying to give you classes of driving in gta, I just wanted to show you that if you knew the tricks, you could exploit the driving system and drive better than anyone else. I humbly recommend you to try my tips and see how it works for you, maybe then you would see that the driving mechanics of gta iv were not as flawed and that in my personal opinion the only flaw was the steering of incredibly fast cars such as the sultan or infernus, which with a little practice could be mastered.

    >>by the way there is another great way of turning in gta iv which is just breaking right before the turn, and accelerating as soon as taking the turn, this would always cause the cars to oversteer a little since, you are reducing the speed and incrementing the speed, and not many people know this but if you went spinning around and lost control of your car there was a quick way to get it back to its line by pressing the gas and the break (not handbreak) at the same time, this of course is not supposed to happen, but it does, so every time you do this you would get back in line with no difficulty (specially at high speeds).

another tip is to control the car while in air, all you have to do is remove your finger from the accelerator and move it to the desired position with the left analog stick, you can literally manually put it in a perfect landing angle to not even scratch the car.

and one last tip I know is that if you burn your wheels (i.e. oversteer them a lot) the car would generally oversteer for a while, this would make doing donuts easy and making quick turns at high speeds faster and less dramatic. (to burn hit brake and accelerator at the same time)

see is not that bad go try it.

  7. bones I think you will agree with me.... the driving in GTA IV was top notch.... It scares me that they handed the driving mechanics to Rockstar San Diego because they wanna make it more like a racing game...... If this game drives like Midnight Club L.A., It might just ruin the game for me.

Completely agree! I do hope its a tad more agile, but I dont want to sacrifice physics and realistic to much. Although I will say, some of the vehicles did feel too heavy and slow. I have trust in R* though.

I couldn't agree with you too more, I do hate to see gta v blended with midnight, you see, when you are going at 60 mph it is almost impossible, unless you are drifting to take a 2 way street corner with out smashing into something, that is what I used to love about gta iv, being able to outrun any followers or police (which need driving improvements) by being skillful, same thing happens in multiplayer.

now imagine if gta v adopted the ways of driving mechanics such as saints row 3, wouldn't that destroy the whole gta experience?

the one thing that got me off playing saints row 3 was the unrealistic physics of every element of the game, which of course is not that big of a deal for others, but for me personally it is a major point in games, realism, hence why I am a gta fun, they always seem to improve in this department.

we all know that eventually we will get used to whatever R* has to bring to us, that is the way we always follow through anyhow, and that somehow at the end we will prefer the new way, but I have to say, let's all hope the driving mechanics have been improved and not nerfed down for little whiny brats like max payne 3 has, where snipers are almost useless, and dual wielding is ridiculously overpowered.

from what I have seen so far in the trailer, the driving mechanics do not seem that bad, the turns where made perfectly, let's hope the camera is not like midnight club or else driving will be unplayable, and that it keeps the camera to a top notch free degrees of rotation.

what I am a little worried is the crashing physics, although it is safe to assume they are more detailed and improved upon, I am yet to see a crashed car in the next videos or screenshots, because so far I have only seen a cop car with a broken headlight.

  8. I really hoped they didn't fucked with the car handling too much, I also liked how the cars moved in GTA IV, I hope in a sense they improved over that system, and didn't pay too much attention to these morons that will play gta v for a week, who are the same ones to be complaining about every aspect of a game, so people make it easy for them, shit at this pace gta VI will be played with one button and you will have to just press a button to beat the game.

  9. Interesting. I didn't know that bikes fishtail when taking a 90 degree turn going 15 mph. Good to know though.

All I'm saying is, let the bike lean into the turn more. There's a reason you don't hit the break going around a turn on a motorcycle, if you don't know by now stunt-driver-guy, its because you'll lay the bike down. If ANYTHING you hit the gas and hope you make the turn without your wheels flipping out from under you. I'm sure, being the elite physic-understanding daredevil you are, you should find that out pretty soon.

Not really trying to flame, TBH. Just thought that anyone who's rode a motorcycle should know that rule. And no, you don't just automatically fishtail when turning on a bike, and if you do, you're in the wrong profession.

I love how little immature kids are still talking about fucking so long san andreas.

if you haven't notice gta v is not san andreas 2, and if you haven't notice R* doesn't give a flying shit of whether you like the bikes or not, they do what the fuck they feel better, and in my opinion I am glad they don't listen to little crying baby's like you that complain about realism.

if u haven't notice there is a game called saints row 3, go and play that and STFU there you will have all the bullshit you are asking for here.

  10. here is my prediction, I think some of the other characters will unravel, some of the unnoticed characters will be presented, but will remain subliminal enough for us to think they are not part of the game, that they are just pedestrians, but are parts of cutscenes, and will hence be important secondary characters, also the main character should be revealed in the second trailer, and if not, the main contact, or initial secondary actor.

    like niko->roman sort of deal.

the second trailer will probably involve some cutscenes from some missions.

and it will be 1:32 min long.

  11. I think the accessories we saw in the trailer/screens are purely cosmetic. Like the laser and red dot on TBoGT's P90.

I doubt that theory, it was demonstrated in max payne 3 that attachments had a purpose, and changed stats of guns in that gamed, being a game that progresses and is subsequent to mp3, they might as well implement that.
