We don't know Rockstar, they are too unpredictable. A christmas release of some info would be nice, but I doubt it will happen.

reading this topic i almost shed a tear. really made me want to jump out of bed and play GTA IV. I remember when i first played vice city i thought it was the best thing in the world. it was so amazing i was only 6 and i begged my dad for years until he got me liberty city stories for in 2006 it was the best day. i remember my good friend dylan whos mom passed away from cancer and now lives in kansas (i live in LA he used to) we used to take his ps2 to my house and we would play san andreas till 5 AM those were the days :'( Then i remember i saw the 3rd trailer for GTA IV and i was so excited i diddnt even know it was under development i remember me and my friend mike would go to his house and we would do stunts jump from the helicopters it was all great times in back in 2008. I still play IV till today along with lcs and vcs lost my san andreas though. GTA has had a huge impact on my life and when i heard GTA V was gonna have a trailer i was so happy. I was in school when the trailer came out i couldnt get access to a computer so i watched it on my shitty blackberry and i only got to watch like 20 seconds of it because my phone was so glitchy but i jumped around my class and this girl next to me said what are you so excited about its just a trailer my reply was fuck you i got sent out but i diddnt care i did it for GTA V. GTA V literally looks amazing id probally break a bone on purpose or some gnarly shit just to get my hands on a copy. The trailer song is amzing also its just so epic ive prolly watched the trailer like around 60-70 times. Anyway you could call me gay for a QD i dont really care just expressing some emotions haters gonna hate i dont give shit. i know everyone has a story like this. whoever reads this thank you regardless if its hate or compliment. #GTAV

It's really hard to believe that not really long ago we had crap 2D and now we are pushing 3D. I'm really interested to see consoles/graphics 15 years down the line and how far they've progressed. I just can't wait to actually play the character and finally Pick up a hooker get shagged and then run her over and get my money back.

I think everybody just needs to trust Rockstar for the decision making. "Getting High, bro" or "Slinging Dope" doesn't always fit into the core gameplay which is what Rockstar builds off of.

Speedometer is a fantastic idea, I think there should be odometer's too. Maybe fuel gauges, temperature gauges (inside and outside), warning lights to tell you you haven't got your seatbelt on, warning lights and bleeping sounds to tell you your door isn't shut properly, interior light switch, heated seats, heated steering wheel and you should be able to open and shut the air vents.
Problem is when the speedometer is in play It tells me how fast I am NOT going. I don't want to steel a hooptie and know that i'm topping out at 69mph when there is still room left on the speedometer. Also Marney there was a beeping in certain cars when the door remained open, It's really faint though.

I don't really see the point of smoking weed, not saying that there is anything wrong with it. I just hate the overwhelming stench of it that and the people that constantly brag about smoking weed, I guess it makes them feel cooler in the presence of others. When not to long ago nobody really spoke about smoking weed as openly as they do now. Which is the same thing with video games people use to never really talk about it in public. Should it be legal? I don't really know i'm not really for or against it.
Also I don't quite see how this belongs in rants and raves. But it's not my problem to care so since it is. Fuck you.

Sounds like bullshit.
I discovered a few things myself:
- I think Los Santos will be in the game this time
- The game is probably going to be a 3D game
- You can actually steal cars
- There will be day/night in the game
- You can pickup a weapon by walking over one you see
- Cars won't be able to drive sideways unfortunately. Still old fashioned forward and backward.

gta 5 wont took so long like gta 4 because in gta 4 the rage engine was first used and invented like that there were many many many bugs thats because gta 4 took so long.In gta 5 rage engine would be better because the basics are given from gta 4.
What the hell are you talking about? GTA IV used the Euphoria engine. & It was delayed because of development issues with the ps3 version. Any delays for V will be financial or some unexpected development problem. It has nothing to do with the game engine...

More then likely the hot coffee content will be around the same as IV. I highly doubt that Rockstar wants another lawsuit on their hands and the rating to go back to AO.

According to Psy last time I saw almost eighty people chose that date. Seeing as that date falls on neither a Tuesday or Friday, I'm going to go out on a limb and say most likely your wrong. Sadly though I have to respect others peoples opinions, stupid or not.

Was I the only one to notice the health and amour wasn't the colors that R* uses either. Health has ALWAYS been GREEN. Also on the same picture behind him is the same ped walkway found on the West side of Algonquin in GTA IV with the Lampost conveniently placed in the same spot.
A pretty good attempt, I see they based the city layout heavily on the old LS. The only problem is I can't see the old Grove Street cul-de-sac. Where would CJ's house be?
Well they are redoing the feel of Los Santos in the same way they did Liberty City. So I don't expect to see Grove Street or the Ballas in it. Seeing as the triads wasn't part of IV anymore.

That would be preposterous, I've played all the GTA's except GTA: London, Advanced, and Chinatown wars. I still play GTA IV almost nightly on Xbox Live with a group of friends.

I'll say 23rd of October. GTA III was released on the 22nd of October, Vice City was 27th, San Andreas was the 26th and then Liberty City Stories released the 25th Vice City Stories released the 31st (ALL October) for the most part the same week., and of Course IV released the 28th of April. I figure they're going to keep the same pattern. Also with Max Payne releasing this March they're not going to try and interfere with it so I'd say October would be a realistic release month.

I actually play it quite frequently but thats on xbawx. I've heard stuff all the time about Vice City and San Andreas just stopped paying mind to it all.

Your argument is invalid. Rockstar will wait as long as they need to make a finished product. They don't rush products and they don't release half-ass games. Rockstar North Which is obviously know for doing the Grand Theft Auto series is also working on Agent, know body really knows where that is at on the production progress but they also said that Agent had been placed on the back burner while GTA V went to full production so that means that Rockstar haven't had all the staff working on GTA V since the release of GTA IV.
