I never buy a game based on ratings alone. It all depends on what games you're into on whether you're gonna like them or not. Couldn't get on with uncharted but obviously a great game, same as AC, could stand the repetitiveness in 2 so haven't even thought about getting 3 even though it's got a 8.5/10 rating. The Halo games have always disappointed me, so why would i spend £40 on a game that will probably suck (in my opinion), again, just cos it's got a good rating. I ain't.

What if it''s wildlife, hence all the countryside and mountains. We already know there are dogs, seen in a thread (promotional one) that there could be cows, even though it looks blurry to me. I don't just mean like the wildlife you get in Skyrim where they wait in the same place and only ever move when something they can attack or run away from approaches, but actually herds and groups that move around the countryside continuously. Then could actually implement the LA Zoo into the game as well, which is right next to a golf course, Animals escape onto golf course "somehow" where Los Santos's mayor is have a round. Gets eaten by lion.
Or it could be that every ped has it's own id number, no duplicates, they're all individuals. They all have their own lives, their own stories, they actually go about the in game world like they're living, rather than they drive round and round then stop, get out and just carry on walking to nowhere.

I hate when games do that. I like to know exactly how much health I have left, otherwise I'm trying to remember how long I had left the last time my screen was that red or black and white.
Whereas i like realism, not too much mind, just enough so you can associate with the world within the game. They could easily use the drunk system out of IV and tweak it a little.

Don't forget the German magazine guys called it a "new feature", whatever that means i do not know. But that hints towards it being something to do with gameplay rather than story...
Talking on the subject of co-op again, maybe there is a drop-in feature, which allows players to join the 'Main' players story missions. The story stays the same, but whatever characters that would be along side the protagonist through-out the story, could be used as a co-op entry point without making it feel like a cheap co-op extra?
Was thinking exactly the same Dup. You could play the whole game/storyline with a mate online if you wanted too. Putting Online playing and Storyline together.
Other than that i haven't a clue, not too fussed, whatever the big surprise (if there is one) will be, it'll be great.

I'd rather there wasn't a bar for health at all, make the screen go slightly blurry and red when your health is low. As for the Armour bar i'd rather the character threw it off when it'd taken too much damage. Also hope when you do get Armour that you actually see it on the character, over what he's wearing or be able to customize it like a piece of clothing you put on.

How is this a topic of conversation? Your just going to get everyone saying you're wrong and then it'll disappear into the depths of the forum. Could you of not just said that shit in an already made topic? This is just you making a statement, not actually making a topic.
1. GTA4 is 4 years old
2. The RAGE engine has been improved since then, majorly.
3. The trailer came out a year ago, so don't judge the game on it.

@craze - if you didn't like AC2 then i doubt you'd get into AC3... it's roughly the same princepal, but in a vastly different landscape that the 4 previous games... it has more of a native american feel, with colonial america as the backdrop... still chasing templars and ancient artifacts...
I liked the storyline in AC2 but the game play just got repetitive after a while, sneak around, kill someone, run away, sneak again, kill someone else, etc. Is the new one better in that sense?

Hurricane's happen all the time. Doesn't mean anything.

Also it's hilarious how last year if a hurricane or any form of natural disaster occurred, it was jokingly referred to as a sign of '2012'. Now, with just over a month to go, when something happens, no one gives a shit at all.
There's more important things to worry about right now than the world ending, like that trailer for that game that everyone keeps going on about.
Plus no one really cares about the world ending anyway.

What I don't get is wouldn't you think Rockstar has backups of the trailer? Like at Rockstar North in Edinburgh or something that they could release from there?
Maybe they fucked up and were still finishing the trailer when the power went out and corrupted all the files, or someone didn't save the work lol. Either way maybe they've had to start from scratch, or an older version of the trailer.
