  1. Being able to swim. Being fireproof and working your way up to 6 stars using only molotovs. Riding a motorcycle to the Blueberry betting track over and over and over until I won $12 million. The sheer variety of terrain. Jetpack. The Venturas strip. That helicopter at the north end end of the map. Finding the 100th tag.

  2. I want maybe some more variety and total overall choice than was in SA--clothes, tattoos, hair & beard styles (liked having blue spiky), jewellery etc.--but at the same time, not so much more that you have to spend an hour browsing through 1149 shades of blue for your tracksuit.

I also liked having preset costumes, like uniforms you get to keep after missions.

  3. Religious people make me uncomfortable.

That's part of the reason I like it. Buddhists are nice and quiet. They do what they do, and they leave you to do what you do. They don't care if you believe what they believe, and they can talk about their beliefs without insulting or belittling yours.

That's why it's the only one I have any respect for.

When you stack the cards in your favour and give people ultimatums, it smells suspciously like hard sell bullshit. What do you do when they knock on your door on Saturday morning, peddling their faith, with one of their brainwashed children along for the ride?

  4. Who's played Just Cause 2? I really liked the map size, variety of topography (from snowy mountains to tropical beaches to desert to dense urban centres), and Rico has the grappling hook / parachute combo as a travel option in addition to the variety of vehicles, boats and aircraft. Obviously GTA V's main character won't have a grappling hook, but parachutes were used before. If parachutes are a part of the game again, you don't need as many formal airports or landing strips; just bail, let your craft crash, and glide down to safety. If the sandbox is as vast as they say, they'll probably incorporate a quick-travel method again (like extraction in JC2) where you can buy a plane ticket if you want to fast track getting from one corner to the other.

TreeFitty, love your map. You should get a prize.

  5. Hello to all the crazy wack jobs on this forum. I'm a Canadian chick living on the east coast with a background in theatre & opera...so pirate-like drinking and wenching is a way of life. (No, I'm not an actor or singer, I worked backstage.)

GTA is my favourite game series, but I also like Assassin's Creed, Uncharted, Just Cause etc. in addition to R*'s other classics like RDR & LA Noire. Headshots and helicopters are my specialty.

I became a member since you guys seem to have the most up-to-date and best sources of genuine information about the game. Fortunately the interesting mix of disturbing characters on this forum are far more entertaining than any other GTA site I've found, so that should keep me laughing until more about the game is released.

  6. The radio stations are an awesome feature...I just want an interesting variety to choose from. They should bring back a classical music station (like Double Cleff in GTA III)...then I can listen to Mozart while mowing down peds.

They won't put in an homage to VC in a west coast setting but there certainly will be rock, hip hop, country, metal and reggae.

    More April Wine please!!!
