  1. The trees still look like shit:(

They'll look better on the PS4 version. :ermm: They might of looked better in the 1st trailer cos it was in the initial stages of map making, and then realize they had to cut the quality of certain graphics to keep the game from over loading and giving lag while the map loads from one area to another?? I'm guessing, but makes sense to me. :P

For the love of god, STOP BITCHIN ABOUT FRICKIN TREES!!!!!

  2. There is a few things id really like to see in the new game. i understand the whole R* not wanting it to be in the same universe as any of the PS2 GTA games but i believe most people want to feel nostalgia which is something they messed up on in GTA IV. i want to see some of the same areas that were in GTA SA just modified. Areas such as Grove Stree (cul de sac), and the pizza place across from the barber shop. I mean that cant be too much to ask for right? Whats the point of still calling it Los Santos or even San Andreas if none of the most memorable areas are in the game? Other than that, i dont care what they do with the map. I'm looking forward to exploring it!
Agreed, I would love to see a updated GTASA, by the way welcome to the forums my friend.

  3. No, the name was just intended as a throwback to the old American west.

I'm looking for better matchmaking this time around. I would sometimes leave a multiplayer game to search for a new one and find myself stuck in the one I just left. Really frustrating when it happens consistently.

I hate that, but when it happens I usually just play a different game. By the way thanks for answering the username question.

  4. I'm a West Coast Eagles fan and our captain of several years was taking drugs on a weekly/bi-weekly basis, wound up winning the Brownlow (Aussie Rules season MVP) and we played in two Grand Finals for one Premiership. I loved watching him play and yet I don't take drugs nor am I interested in them. I will play GTA5 and I will still not take drugs.

I agree that our classifications don't appropriately resemble society, their education level or their access to paraphernalia about drugs, sex and violence as well as drugs, sex and violence themselves. When GTA5 comes out I WILL drive down the footpath running people in Vinewood. I WILL walk into gang territory and open fire. I WILL walk along the beach punching random people before defending myself from attack, with gunfire if I have to. I will not be doing these things in real life. I agree that many games are not for an under 18 audience and there should be measures in place to restrict the access to children but let the rest of us, who know the difference between life and fantasy, play the games we want to play as they were intended to be played.

Thanks for reading, I'll be in my meth lab if you need me.

You got my full support Barrybran...... go Australia the land of free health care.

    *Glares*

Go on. Tell us how Australia is free healthcare land.

    *Glares deeper*

    Ummmm.......Ummmmmm.......Shut Up.

  5. "The last of us" has a great weapon system.

You have to craft holsters for your weapons to acces them quicker. (Or in GTA instead of crafting you can buy it)

And instead of putting an RPG in your pocket, you can see the weapons the character carries.

In "The last of us" you can put Health kits in your backpack. So if your low on health you can use them.

You can also upgrade character abilities with some pills, would be awesome if we could upgrade gta's character abilities with some kind of drugs. In IV we could get drunk for 2 minutes. So why not high on drugs.

Didn't they mention trevor was a drug addict?

Exactly I thought The Last Of Us had a great weapon system, and the supplement pills made for a great extra...Oh and I'm pretty sure Trevor was a meth addict...a blue meth addict.

  6. ^that... i've never owned one, i used to always use gamefaqs.com... nowadays there's wikia's and even IGN has stepped it up with their guides that it's actually worth checking their stuff out, i am using it right now for last of us...

plus, if i owned that guide i would be tempted to flip through and possibly spoil some of the missions...

I own a Uncharted 3 guide....if anyone cares it was $50 from BIGW.

That's almost as expensive as the game itself... Was it worth it?

Yes I learnt much more than if i would've just played the game itself .

  7. Yes....Yes it is.

What is so good about it?

And do you think it will be better than GTA V?

I'm about to start playing this game soon ( playing Company of Heroes 2 right now ). And I'm hearing from everywhere that 'The Last of Us' will be Game of The Year, putting it above future 2013 games like GTA V, Watch Dogs ( which still looks kind of overrated to me ) and Rome 2.

So I'm just wondering, is the game that good.

i think it is that good personally. and i find that new IPs usually have better chances at GOY, so i would say TLoU will most likely beat out V. and why do you think watch dogs looks overrated? i think it looks like the best third party next gen launch title announced so far.

    Yes....Yes it is.

you cant really compare the two. one is a cinematic linear game with an amazing character driven story that is about 18 hrs, while the other is open world, non linear, with a different way of telling a story and endless hours of entertainment of fucking shit up. if u want a realistic, emotional masterpiece of a movie in a game, then its tlou, but if you want unlimited pure entertainment and a more gamey experience, its gta v.

Good point....I think gta 5 will be better overall, but for amazing graphics and storyline then it's The Last Of Us
