  1. New series of webisodes got released today for those who are interested.

After "Torn Apart" which featured 6 webisodes and "Cold Storage" which featured 4, which were all pretty short if I remember correctly, the new series of webisodes is called "The Oath". The first two series gave a bit of a back story to what happened on the actual show, but nothing big really. It's basically just a way to keep the fans happy during the long wait for the next season.

This one's 3 parts, 7-10 minutes each and from a preview I've seen, it actually doesn't look that bad.

Going to have to watch these tomorrow though, really need to get some sleep right now!

  2. Why is it possible that GTAOnline is avaible for someone, but it fails to host a session for me?

    Rockstar hates you.

I was hoping to play for at least an hour today. But seeing how I came home from my night shift and was constantly trying to join a game until now, I think I'm just going to get some sleep now.

Got to create a character, Modern day John Marston with a blonde hipster cut and epic 9 o'clock shadow. Had a good amount of fun with that, so I guess I'm satisfied enough for now.

  3. Might it be because you're not wanted and you don't have any money?

I'm disappointed by the fact that Burger Shot or any other restaurant isn't accessible. Even if eating there wouldn't put your health back to normal, it would've been a nice place to hang out with friends, do a robbery like the ones in convenience stores or maybe even go in there and kill employees and customers if you want their competitors stock to go up..

  4. Just found out that all the locations of the letter scraps, as well as other collectibles can be found on the checklist on Social Club too. It kind of takes away the fun in investigating the map over and over again to find all the collectibles, but I'm too lazy for doing that anyway so I'm glad they uploaded that map. Doesn't feel like I'm cheating because it was Rockstar who put it on their website ^_^

  5. I don't understand stock exchange in real life, I don't understand it in GTA V. Call me stupid, it's just too difficult to me. Always failed math and economics in college, that might have something to do with it.

Until I find some more information or a tutorial on how to do it in the game, I won't mess around with it too much. I want to spend my money on property, cars, planes, weapons and clothes for now. Might try to do some investing during my second play through, which is probably going to start very soon after my first one

  6. The whole training Chop with a real-life App thing pisses me off. I have an Ipad but I don't want to do that. Why couldn't they just do an in-game training system for the dog.

The white dot reticule makes it pretty difficult to do a drive by. But I guess you can change the white dot to a crosshair as Spitty said. I'll have to try that during my next playing session.

  7. - The side missions. Have had a lot of fun with these. The fact that they actually show up on the map is very useful. In GTA IV, I just

forgot about them after a while because I never accidentaly walked into them.

    - The new Wanted system. The cones/line of sight technique is one of the best improvements Rock* has made. I can't believe they didn't try this earlier.

    - Hanging out with friends/family. Again, much better than GTA IV. The fact that you are actually the person calling your friends makes it a fun side activity, not an obligation. You can choose when you want to hang out and where you want to go. The dialogue during these activities is interesting and entertaining too, not just the same, boring conversations all the time. They give you some more background story to the characters.

I'm sure there are many more but these were the things that first came to mind after a 7-8 hour playing session.. Time for some shut eye now!

  8. I haven't even met Trevor yet.

Me either... I have only unlocked about half the map as well. I end up driving around a lot, not really doing anything at all... I've "made it rain" a few times though...

Meeting Trevor for the first time has to be my favorite moment of the game so far.. I love rolling in the hood with Franklin or planning heists with Michael but Trevor is something completely different.. Being able to play with Trevor just took the game up to a whole new level of awesomeness for me

  9. Just played through what I'm sure will be one of my many favorite moments in the game..

The moment when you first switch to Trevor

Not only was I incredibly happy to finally see Trevor living his crazy life in Blaine County, the next thing I see is Johnny f'n Klebitz and Ashley (it took me a while to realise that it was Ashley from TLAD actually). And later Terry and Clay..

The following cutscenes and mission were absolutely crazy and an awesome way of introducing Trevor.

  10. I can see the stats on the Social Club so I'm guessing that means my PSN account is already linked to my Social Club account. Though I don't seem to be able to get the in-game discounts that I'm supposed to be getting after 'Stalking' the Life Invader pages.. I just had to pay for a haircut.

Anybody else getting this or who knows what I need to do in order to use the discounts in game ?

Edit: I've been playing V for about 5 hours straight now, so I'm proably not making a lot of sense.
