What is the point should be the question the feds are asking the states. I went to the whitehouse.gov site and for my state, the reason for said petition was the state believes the federal government is not responsible enough to represent our state and our state believes its financial well-being is better off in our own hands, other than the hands of the government. I wonder if other states have a similar reason or are just trying to join the band-wagon.

right, but its a petition. like when people vote, lets say 70% of people in a state(which is very high) vote on a measure. 40% in favor 60% not in favor. Thats only 70% of the population. the rest of the 30% were quiet and their voices not heard. But the measure still fails nonetheless. but those people were still there. And this petition may be state by state but its on a federal level so any us citizen can sign the petition on any state they want. New yorkers could sign to have texas succeed, just because they dont like them.

And yes.. it mentions that just the city is that big, not the whole map. That means that the map is gonna be enormous (+judging from the new screenshots).
I'll believe that when I see it.
That would mean that the city alone is 25 square miles. That's nearly twice as big as the entire map of San Andreas. The only way they can get that much land is if they're adding all of Los Angeles county including areas such as Santa Clarita and Pomoma. The urban center of Los Santos that they showed in the first trailer isn't going to be nearly that big.

To get the same angle in the oil well picture, you'd have to place the camera farther north and pointed west. That would shrink the right side considerably.

Yeah, I'm just wondering are they going to put anything into affect to essentially get rid of you average dope dealer. I mean with legalization I'd assume they would want dispensaries and shops to regulate who's getting it. Instead of just having every shady back alley dealer pestering people on the street.
And the reason I say that I don't like this is because it's practically legal up here already. So long as you aren't walking the streets with over 9 grams or so, they can't charge you with shit. Fuck an old high school friend has been busted with weed 3 times. They didn't even do shit until his third time being caught and then he only got sent to a 1 month rehab course. No charges, zip. nothing. Fuck, back in highschool I used to walk up to random people on the streets of Downtown and ask if they holding. 8/10 times the reply was "How much you need?" And the ones that didn't have, didn't give a shit what I was asking for. I'm just saying legalization in Canada is more than likely going to complicate an already ideal circumstance.

That's not intended for states attempting to secede. Even less so when half of the voters aren't from that state and MAJORITY RULES. Even if 100k wanted to not be a part of the states in new york, more voted for Obama, therefore majority wins

Well I'm thinking about what they did with SR3. Open world, and pretty much everything available from the beginning. In GTA it was always the promise of getting to that one area or unlocking that one car that kept me going.
San Andreas: I need to get to the desert because I want that Jetpack.
IV: I need to get to Alderney so I can try the Sultan RS.
etc.
But I'm sure Rockstar will find a way for us to be entertained and rewarded. They don't give it all away up front like that slut Volition

not too late, People are just starting to wake up and leave the sheep herd. Occupy wall st. and these succession petitions is a sign that there is still a chance to wake up and change something (not saying occupy or these petitions will change anything) Nothing significant will probably happen, but then again stranger things have happened....
1 country split in 2 would either be 1: good 2:bad. But i agree it could make america stronger. The trade system would flourish and it would bring back all our manufacturing jobs we shipped out to developoing nations.
