After watching Trevor cruise around with a Five-star wanted level I found myself a little concerned.. If I remember correctly, a five-star was the new maximum wanted level in GTA V, yet there were just a few police cruisers as well as a couple choppers after him.. Is there gonna be a military presence or not? I'd be okay with nothing but police and SWAT waves but I was really looking forward to some military force.. Whadya think...?
I posted this a while back and never got a reply so I thought I'd repost it because it's still bugging me..
Its possible that swat only comes around in the city and not the rural Blaine County. With that said, military forces may work in the same way. and i do hope that there is some type of military presence outside of the base that has been mentioned.

Lots of gun stores... I wonder what the white icon in the middle represents.
I take it you're taking about the gun in the cross hairs, which probably represents a shooting range because i doubt all gun stores have one. And holy shit that's a lot of gun stores.

I think someone that has had bad experiences with getting a decent cell phone signal built a house there and is now living in it.
Can you hear me now.

Doing that for weapons is one thing, doing it for vehicles would be just silly for a game like this.
who said anything about doing it for the vehicles

Has there been any mention of a bulldozer . Know cranes have been cconfirmed but I'd like to see some sort of heavy duty equipment like that
CVG R* North interview
Your response does't answer my simple yes or no question
ok, yes, in that interview

I haven't played it unfortunatly but I think I understand what you mean, so say you was playing as Franklin and you had picked up a Glock handgun and a Dessert Eagle handgun, they'd both be in your inventory and you can switch to them at any time, but you choose what ones appear on the weapon wheel for faster switching to them?
yep, i think you get it
-
Anyway, I'm curious about the "not losing your weapon" thing - What happens when you find a better weapon and you want, then? where does the previous weapon go once you've picked up the new one? Does it stay in your inventory or go into some kind of Weapon Cashe at your Home? if you have a weapon cache that you can pick from a range of your weapons that you collected and possibly customized, why couldn't they have a system like that with Vehicles? like the Garage system in Saints Row..
Have you played red dead redemption? It probably works in that way
If not, then (if they do it the same way) you carry all of your weapons in your inventory and just select the ones that you wish to have on hand on your wheel at one time.
I'm sorry that i'm not really great at explaining but if anyone wishes to improve the explanation please do

Not sure if this was mentioned, but it would be awesome to buy a trailer that was also mobile.. so you can bring it with you anywhere you go, if you wanted to change your clothes anytime you wanted, and where ever you decided to park you could save your game right there, so next time you decide to go on the game, your character would spawn right in that area
You can do that with Trevor...i think
in the hunting scene it showed Trevor getting out of an RV so i hope that's a possibility, a mobile safe house is one of many on my wishlist for this game

I think that the impounding of cars (and the fact that we can purchase them now) will give most of us a much better sense of worth for our good cars in the game. I mean, we won't be quite as likely to bail out of our cars when approaching oncoming traffic, or a ledge that drops into water. I just hope that if I steal a really good car, I can have it impounded, but not every car that I steal since that would just be a clusterfuck of shit cars.
i imagine it will only impound cars that you have bought or have saved in a garage, at least i hope that's how they do it, otherwise yes it would be a huge clusterfuck.

I wonder if the stock exchange affects the price of the estates we can buy.
That would either be awesome or just a complete pain in the ass. No in between
-
i was just thinking, would it be over the top to be able to flip some of the houses and sell them for (hopefully) a profit

I got the impression that once a firearm is picked up, it can't be lost through any means, even if you want to.
i think its like the weapon system of RDR
I only liked their Olaf series. The GTAV show is stupid sonce they dont know what theyre talking about. Also I think there will be an impound like in every major county and city. Same with the new LS Repair shop for modding cars. One question I still ask myself is where we would mod weapons. Ammunation or maybe a seperate store.
its at ammu-nation

There is a few things id really like to see in the new game. i understand the whole R* not wanting it to be in the same universe as any of the PS2 GTA games but i believe most people want to feel nostalgia which is something they messed up on in GTA IV. i want to see some of the same areas that were in GTA SA just modified. Areas such as Grove Stree (cul de sac), and the pizza place across from the barber shop. I mean that cant be too much to ask for right? Whats the point of still calling it Los Santos or even San Andreas if none of the most memorable areas are in the game? Other than that, i dont care what they do with the map. I'm looking forward to exploring it!
i completely agree and i think that there is a good chance that Grove St. will be in the game, i seen it in the graffiti of one of the buildings in Franklins trailer.

I like how the wacky waving arm flailing inflatable tube man is completely oblivious to the chaos going on barely 50 feet from him. He knows not of the deviance, the evil that lies dormant in all of humankind. He has never witnessed the other side of our species. Like the three wise monkeys, he knows not of wrong, only good. To wave, to flail, and to be joyous is all he knows.
Bliss.
haha well said, well said.

What about if when they catch you, like iv you can run away or press a certain button and bribe them off for anything but its a chance they'll either hesitate and say ok or smack you and cuff your ass and have to pay more when you get out, I'd love that option
what if there are a lot of cops around you, do you pay all of them?

Chainsaw=quick chop top

I don't see them doing two pools of money but It would be interesting to have to go through some sort of mission to "clean" the money you get from a job. So maybe just like you have to dump the car, you have to take the money to someone to exchange it for clean bills. maybe you can skip that step but you risk getting a wanted level when you try and spend it.
i think i would actually enjoy that feature
-
The smaller places earlier in the game would be purchasable regardless of how you got the money, but the bigger properties would need clean money to buy them with. That's what I meant.
ah. well that wouldn't be too bad then, it might be interesting
