    Glad I remembered this topic, I really didn't feel like starting a new one.

    How likely do you guys think it is that Packie will be the main character? TBOGT's credits and the McReary name on that casting call make it a pretty safe bet that he'll be in the game in some form, but do you think he'll be the protagonist, or another supporting character?

    I don't think Packie will be the main character. That just seems too dull to me. R* North always invent someone new for the main character so you know nothing about them when you start. Like a clean slate for a new story. It's like an unwritten rule in the GTA series. But i do believe he will make an appearance. Packie was one of the more interesting characters from GTA IV and has to make some sort of comeback.

    Forget Toni Cipriani? Anyway I am kind of hoping that its Packie, We know who he is, but hes in a new city, new place and he sees that leaving Liberty City didn't help. The plot might be Packie goes to San Andreas to meet his cousin Eddie (was revealed in casting call), While there Packie decides to bring the McReary name respect again. Put other GTA 4 era characters mixed with new ones and I think we will have a fun story on our hands.

    No one really knows about driver parellel lines, It was a viceman penis flop, limp but still kinda cool.

    I've just lost all respect for Gamespot. Why the fuck does the V logo remind anyone of Washington DC? You people are mad.

    For once I agree with you. Why would it be DC? That would suck.

    Also about the multiple protagonist idea, GTA 4 already did that with the DLC. I loved the intersecting paths but I think I would be fine with just one character to play as. How about you play half the game in the 70s, then the other half in present time? Like a whole story of that persons life.

    It won't be called "GTA Vice City" or "GTA San Andreas" as there have already been games with those names. And R* doesn't want to confuse the fuckwitted simpletons of today's society* by making their brains try to comprehend the overwhelming complexity of a such a mind-boggling choice.

    Bruce Campbell personally told me to watch Burn Notice, so I do. Pretty good show, lots of accurate instructions for various shady activities. Sons of Anarchy is also awesome. Very awesome. So is It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Archer, and Workaholics.

    Also, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, because rape.

    I love Workaholics. That episode where they made friends with a pedophile was gold.

    If you have to choose I would still say to play this game before others. I know a lot of people who are saying that this might be the best game they ever played. Then there are the perfect 10 reviews everywhere calling it a landmark in gaming. Broad statements but so many are saying it. I plan to get it in the coming weeks so I will post a review telling if its all hype or not.

    I hope im not the only one here who watches this, it might be one of the best TV shows ever made. Its about a 50 year science teacher who makes meth because he has cancer and wants to leave something to his family because he hardly has any money for them. As the show progresses it shows him going from a normal 50 year guy into a ruthless drug mastermind. The acting, effects, story, characters, etc. are all excellent.

    Saw it.

    I almost came when Carl got shot. I hate that kid, possibly even more than I do in the comics. I was disappointed, though, when I thought the black guy was going to get killed, but didn't. There are two awesome black people in the comics, they need to hurry up and get to them and quit wasting time with this obvious redshirt.

    But, of course, they've already fucked up the cool black guy's story, because Sophia's mom is a fifty-year-old lesbian lookalike instead of a hot 30-something blonde. She was half his story in the comics.

    But beyond the infuriating differences from the comics, it's a good show, and last night's episode was my favorite so far.

    I don't know why every company decided to release their games now, competition is heavy. Even GTA could be overshadowed by all the shit that's coming out this season.

    Yeah I hate that too. You would think they would release them apart for better sales but I guess they wait until the last part of the year because of the holidays. If GTA just randomly came out tomorrow I think it would still sell pretty damn well, I know the second I heard the news I would be running to the store.

    I just saw the most recent trailer. This game looks incredible. Still, I know I won't spend as much time with this as I will with Saints Row 3 and Skyrim, so I'm still going to wait for a price drop.

    Yeah you got good taste in games, im getting both of those as well when I can afford it. Im a big Batman fan so I will probably play it the most.
