  1. If there's 'only' going to be one city and the countryside then it could be bigger than SA, countryside doesn't have to be that detailed but can still look amazing and be massive (Just Cause 2, probably Red Dead but I haven't played that yet fucking R*) so it could be much bigger than SA, but I still wonder how they will do it for the consoles. I thought they would have just go with Vice City for this generation and then wait for Next Gen to do San Andreas.

As for Airports. I'm guessing you'll have the International Airport in the city. A military base with an airfield. And one or more dust strips like the one in SA.

  2. I still think there will be more than one city. Just not fierro or ventures. People have been saying San Diego. Roughly the size of broker. I like that idea.

They did kinda say Los Santos and surrounding countryside, which is what I gathered too. Small towns at best I reckon, but LS itself is probably gonna be huge. Bigger than San Andreas in terms of size? Who knows, but that would be BIG. I don't know how they would make this game work for 6 year old console hardware.

  3. I feel like DC would be a huge waste unless we got to shoot up the White House. Half of DC is inaccessible to the public, so I would expect a lot of accidental six-star wanted levels if that's where it's set.

I was thinking just this, it's a pretty sterile city to be honest from what I've heard. They'd be much better off redoing Vice or Los Santos/San Andreas IMO.

Haven't we already seen R* postings for voice actors that gave clues as to where the game might be set? I remember seeing those awhile back.

  4. They could have expanded on the scope abit more I think, it's really more of the same. Although I guess in a sense, it is somewhat limited and most of the hype was about the co-op, It's unfortunate that these days they focus on social gaming gimmicks .....it's not a bad game, it's still cool. Just not anywhere near the level of hype.

I think only Rockstar know how to do singleplayer these days, seriously

  5. These guys are so stupid to not release a photograph, you're telling me. You're fucking telling me, that they'll bow down to the birthers and release documents having to prove the god damn elected President of the USA was born in the country and is a proper citizen, but they won't release any proof whatsoever that one of America's biggest ever enemies has been killed in some baddassery covert operation.

    :v

    Seriously -_-

  6. Honestly have no idea what the hype about this game about, it's almost exactly the same as Portal 1. Save a few little extra things like that weird paint and such. The puzzles never took more than 10 mins to do, but most less than a few. But I guess I'm only about 3/4 of the way through. Also it's got a nasty crash to desktop problem, what the fuck is this, the mid-2000's all over again?

I'm glad I'm er, borrowing this off a friend

  7. Pretty sure Red Dead isn't coming to PC and neither will LA Noire from the sounds of it. I think piracy prevention is the main reason why they're sticking to consoles. The amount of support they need to give to the PC community who can't run the games is outweighed by the number of people who download it so I guess it's not feasible for them to waste the money on it.

That's what I thought, plus there was a huge bitchfest about the GTA IV PC version if I remember, about how badly optimised it was..the whole Rockstar Social Club + Windows Live nonsense....I think they've given up on the platform, for now. Abit of a shame

  8. How can they justify the price tag for a 5 hour game, oh there's co-op, honestly this social gaming bullshit like co-op has never interested me. Multiplayer isn't too bad, but co-op, I've always felt there's something wrong with that. I guess too much organisation required for that.

  9. You know what GTA have never done, a regular white (American, assuming it's in America) guy. It's always been something different. Foreigners, black hoodlums, they've tapped into Asians with Chinatown wars, Italian Mafiosi's (maybe not a real word), what kind of name is Claude...where this motherfucker from.....Johnny was Jewish, before you get into all that...

And then instead of blaming gangs, drugs, guns, terrorism and everything else... if it's just a white guy, the in-game media will merely portray him as someone having a bad day who needs to be given a chance.

  10. This is like the wizard robe and hat version of Fallout isn't it? Another Tolkeinesque fantasy that brings no originality to a bloated genre. I don't understand why, mainly PC gamers, fall so cheaply for this kind of thing. Outside of LOTR, High Fantasy has always pissed me off.
