  1. Well they said that the peds got on buses and worked so it sound like maybe they took the path of ULTRAREALISIM this time around. But what would impress me is; like you see a ped right, so you follow him to see this so called "life" they have...

He comes out the doors of the IAA tower and begins walking down the sidewalk toward a car garage. He takes out his phone dials something and puts it up to his ear; "hi hon just got off of work, ah it was crazy some guy apparently was repelling down the side of the building, broke through a window, took some dude, jumped out and escaped with the other guy on a parachute! I know it's crazy right? Well do you need anything from the store? Okay I'll get em...bye!" he hangs up just as he gets into his feltzer. You grab a car just across the way and follow him in your car. He drives up infront of a grocery store and gets out. A few minutes later he comes out with a shopping cart full of bags...he pushes the cart over to his car, pops the trunk and starts loading the groceries in. After he's finished he closes the trunk and gets in. He backs up and hits the shopping cart. He gets out looks at the scratch on the back and say,"Ahhh SHIT!" he kicks the cart into the middle of the parking lot, gets back in his car and drives away. You follow him to his home in the suburbs. He backs his car into the driveway and gets out infront of a nice two story house. He walks up to the door and opens it, and you hear "OH MY GOD! Brianne BRIANNE?!!! FUCK NOOO! " then a second or two passes...POW! Dogs start barking and car alarms go off. The cops pull up and close off the scene. Later paramedics pull up and take the body on a strecher out of the house and into the ambulance. A crowd that has gathered becomes hushed as the ambulance drives off. You go home and save the game when you come back police tape is still around the house. You do a few missions and switch characters, you turn on a tv and Weasel news is on talking about a murder and suicide. Your jaw then drops.

As far as that seems to go and I doubt that'd happen, it would be AMAZING. Also imagine if a few game days later you see a funeral for the deceased person. Separate and ongoing lives within the game would be amazing. But as I started out before I don't really see that happening just yet.

  2. A smarter traffic system. As in cars that don't turn too slowly or drive at 200 mphs like in 'San Andreas' and ones that don't cut in front of you or crash into parked cars while turning like in 'GTA IV'. Also pedestrians that don't cross and block off traffic. I know this is just a minor detail that wouldn't really affect the missions, but it was just annoying in 'GTA IV' whenever I got bored and wanted to drive correctly. lolz Also different weather systems like maybe snow at the tops of the mountains in the games or stronger winds that caused damage. Also in 'San Andreas' I found it cool that the plans would have trouble flying during storms.

  3. As I can see with the AK-47 we'll still be using the same weapons, but also an attachment of a laser? Could be fun. Obviously planes will be used due to the biplane and fighter jet even if the jet isn't usable during game play. The water in the biplane photo looks like there might be a waterfall or two in the game due to it's background. Cop chases look a little upgraded. And FINALLY... what I've been waiting for since 'Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas' looks like tractor trailers (with the trailer attached) looks like it will be usable in the game. Can't wait until the release! :jumpy:

  4. I do agree on flooding, but more in the country side. Maybe the streets could get flooded sometimes, but it would get annoyed if it happened even after just a slight drizzle. Also since 'GTA' is heading back to San Andreas maybe sand storms? But not as blinding as 'San Andreas' was. Also if thunderstorms could create legit damage and maybe even hurricane like waves. Also since it's in "California" maybe an earthquake would make sense, but maybe that's a bit too much to ask for, Idk. One last idea would be snow. Even though Los Santos (Los Angeles) is pretty far south and a little warm for snow, it would be nice for something different for a change.

  5. Most certainly it can out-beat 'COD'. The way I see it is that 'GTA' is more popular anyways. Plus you always here more talk about the newest 'GTA' than 'COD' anyways. 'COD' is the same crap every year and even though 'GTA IV' got old after 'TBoGT' came out because of it's stay in Liberty City, that's how 'GTA' does it. 'COD' is the same EVERY year. 'MW3' from what I heard just had a change in the map. 'GTA' has more options to give than 'COD' anyways. Even the graphics are in more high quality. Plus from the sales of 'GTA IV' breaking the record of 'Halo 3', then HELL YEAH it'll out-beat 'COD' sales.

If GTA can't outsell cookie-cutter bullshit like CoD, then the video game industry is fucked.

Too bad it's more fun for kids to mindlessly shoot people in first person than follow a story.

Agreed. 'COD' is used by a bunch of 10 year-olds trying to show off anyways.
