and i just noticed something, GTA has always been in liberty city, the rest has always been expansion packs (london,vice city,san andreas) i just cant beleive it!!! san andreas is finally ganna make the big 1!!
What the hell are you talking about? Vice City and San Andreas weren't expansions. Lost & Damned plus Gay Tony were expansions. Vice City and San Andreas were their own full games in new areas.
im not saying they r exactly expansion packs(give me a fucking break im 13 i dont know every thing like u do) im tryin to say that the main GTA games (GTA,GTA2,GTAIII,GTAIV) r all in liberty city, all of the side games (vice city, london, san andreas) basically what im saying is they arent the main games of the GTA series

If there's 'only' going to be one city and the countryside then it could be bigger than SA, countryside doesn't have to be that detailed but can still look amazing and be massive (Just Cause 2, probably Red Dead but I haven't played that yet fucking R*) so it could be much bigger than SA, but I still wonder how they will do it for the consoles. I thought they would have just go with Vice City for this generation and then wait for Next Gen to do San Andreas.
As for Airports. I'm guessing you'll have the International Airport in the city. A military base with an airfield. And one or more dust strips like the one in SA.

I can't think of any good names for DLCs, but I would prefer there just to be one GTA V. I honestly think Episodes From Liberty City was a desperation encounter that only just paid off as GTA IV (The original one) just wasn't good.
my friend told me that he saw a DLC in a gamer mag and he said it was called "GTA crack old"
now i have no freaking clue what that is but i think he was high when he told me Maybe a DLC were you can be CJ, because it's in San Andreas..but just a thought.
Been over this a gazillion times, CJ would be in his 40's. If you wanna run around as the original CJ it would just feel wrong, like it's a mod or something.
i havent played san andreas for a long time so i aent my dad out to gamestop to get a ps2 and the game and he didnt buy it
but the reason y i say this, is cuz my dad told me the gamestop dude said that "all ps2 games will be on DL for ps3 soon, just wait" (thats y my dad didnt buy it) i think this guy is full of but i really hope this is true, sorry of this turns out being wrong, i just hope ppl will think its me makeing this up, cuz then ill be on the shit list . -
i really want GTA V to have RDR system (only with XP instead of $$$ and u can earn XPnames and clothes like in gta iv) i also want to be able to make gangs and the way u can get XP is like in RDR by raiding gang hide outs, accept the gangs u raid r other players gangs

ok, so u r driving with your wife soon ariving to los santos, while entering los santos your screen blacks out (kinda like what u said) then you wake up in a hospital where a doctor tells you that your wife didnt make the car crash(wich is y ur screen blacks out)when u crashed a drunk driver bumbs you off the road and your wife deis but u live, now after you are released from hospital, the game is about getting revenge and finding the guy that killed your wife(the guy gets away from the seen) i think this would be a very great idea but i dont think it is a good story for 100 + missions in one game.

i really would like to have a ipad in the game instead of a really tiny phone i could barely read on my TV, i want a ipad like SR3 or in the new game "sleeping dogs"

id love to see this idea but not exactlyhow you put it, any ways i would love to see 3 DLCs!!! i honestly (unlike others) dont really care about the country, reason being is that in GTA SA it pissed me off enough when ur in los santos and u gotta take a long ass trip across the country to the next mission in san feirro/las ventras, and since this map is ganna be bigger it will suck even more!! (I KNOW THERE MAY NOT BE SANFEIRRO/LAS VENTRAS) so the 1st DLC is a country one.
2nd is SAN FEIRRO!!
3rd is LAS VENTRAS!!!!!!

I was just thinking. If the game is set only in Los Santos, which is pretty much confirmed now. Will it be bigger than San Andreas in terms of actual map size? I realize San Andreas covered three cities and surrounding countryside, but everything was shrunk down and the cities were far smaller than any real city. GTA V clearly looks much richer in detail and bigger looking from what we have seen of it so far. But will it actually be bigger than San Andreas, or ever Red Dead?, since Rockstar have mentioned it is the largest and most ambitious game yet in their latest statement.
Might as well start discussing it, but don't moan that the game is going to suck because it's not going to be San Andreas, that's not the point of this thread.
Personally I hope it is bigger. And i hope to see loads of small country towns sprawled out over the countrysides, full of interesting characters to do side missions for and what not.
I think you've summed it up perfectly, initially I was disappointed it wasn't all of SA but the more I think about it just being Los Santo's the more I like the sound of it. R* know what they are doing and it could well be bigger than SA and maybe 10 years down the line bigger and better consoles we will see the whole of the SA but for now what we possibly have is like SA the defining game of a generation which strikes the balance between what SA & IV offered.

id really like to carry a ak-47 and m4 at the same time because in past GTAs you could only carry 1 machine gun or 1 melee weapon and every weapon is pared up with another, id really like to see satchel charges again and last but not least id like to shoot a RPG out of a car (mabye in a mission?)

I recently went into my local game stop with my dad to buy a game, i was talking to my dad while looking for a copy of RDR about how this RDR game was going to be the last game ill buy until GTA 5 comes out,(so i defiantly have enough money for the game, and any DLC R* makes)the employee over heard me say that, when i got my game the employee said that i would be waiting a long time to buy GTA 5. I then told him that the game is expected to be released somewhere in late October 2012, he then told me that he gets information from video game companies all the time about when video games release or when they are expected to be released according to the game developer and what they think. The employee told me that he got email from RockstarGames that said the following.
"We have just finished the build model for the "Grand theft auto V game" so the game is almost finished, But unforgettably the testing will take longer than we expected and the game will not be able to be released around 2012 as we hoped, we are now aiming for late November 2013."
I highly think that this is untrue, a fake from another fan trying to be noticed and start rumors about the release date, Guys, lets face it. There are millions upon millions wanting info, rumors, just things to get hyped up about, we are just going to have to be patient and wait until R* releases info on the game.
Is the person who 'recently went to buy a copy of RDR' YOU or did you copy this from somewhere else on the web?

there are soooo many things i want in gta v:
1st i reeeaaally want a weapon change, the weapons that are usually in there are awesome but im kinda getting tired of em its always the same--- AK-47/M4 or always MICRO SMG/SMG, GRENADE/MOTOLOTOV (yes i know i spelled motolotov wrong
) KNIFE/BASEBALL BAT, SHOTGUN/SAWN OFF SHOTGUN. i would love to see the sticky bombs that were in TBOGT or mabye haveing a M-16.in the trailer there were guys getting out of the van with AK-47s WITH SILENCERS!!!!! i want to be able to put a silencer on every gun
( AND WHERE IS THE FLAME THROWER/CHAIN SAW!!!!)
i also want more cars but i dont want 10 other infurnes parked in a parking lot just because im driveing one, yeah mabye it would be nice if there would be one to steal if the current one im driving blows up or flips over.
i also want the garages back i dont like how in GTA 4 there were parking spaces, because other drivers would crash into them and if there is a explosion
they will blow up. In past GTAs you could pull into a garage get out let the door close and go back in and your car would be perfect, it was kinda like a pay n spray too.
