GTA 5 Radio Stations

One of the most stand-out features of the Grand Theft Auto series has always been it's radio stations and music. In GTA 5 we can be pretty sure the radio stations will be back and better than ever with Sam & Dan Houser working hard alongside Lazlow to come up with original content to keep us entertained while cruising down the sidewalk splattering helpless pedestrians.

Expected Radio Stations

The one radio station we can expect to see more than others (based on current information) is a 60's/70's radio station. Generally, the song used in a GTA trailer is always included in the game. The song in the first official GTA 5 trailer - Small Faces - Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake - was released in 1968. Therefore, either this song will be included within a "classics" radio show, or it'll be on it's own station with songs from a similar time period.

Radio We Think Will Be Included

With the game being set in Los Santos, we're predicting some similar stations from GTA San Andreas to make an appearance. This could include the following genres:

  • Hip-Hop
  • Modern Rap
  • Modern Rock
  • Classic Rock
  • Country
  • Latino
  • Pop
  • Dance
  • Electronic
  • Chat Radio
We'll get more information with the release of a new trailer, or if the official website goes up. Until then, let us know some radio stations or songs you'd like to hear in GTA V!

    Idc what anyone says, GTA Vice City by far had the best soundtrack! GTA 4's sucked, San Andreas was good, and GTA 3 was ok. I want to see a mixture of everything in GTA 5. Music that will be recognizable to the people who enjoy that genre. I like all rock from the 60's and up. Music from Jimi Hendrix and Cream to Breaking Benjamin and Five Finger Death Punch

    It would be a great idea if Rockstar made some sort of a Radio Station System which if you connect your console to the internet, the radio stations would update themselves with new songs, But you would still have the option to have the old songs back that came with the game.

    This game will be so big it will need classic radio stations like radio Los santos and the classic rock stations. And possibly a way to bring in your own music like in game cd or I pod or I phone.

    Rockstar Games should put Radio Los Santos back into GTA V. I think so beacause many fans of San Andreas really loved Ain't Nothing But AG Thang - Snoop Dogg & Dr. Dre, also Today Was A Good Day - Ice Cube. And some other amazing songs from San Andreas including a few songs from GTA 4.

    They should bring back music from vice city and keep WKTT and Integrity 2.0, Lazlow is a classic in GTA, WKTT is just funny.

    There needs to be a wider variety of radio stations on GTAV with a lot more songs on each station. A radio station for almost each genre of music would be great but almost likely won't happen. There needs to be around 20 songs per station. I only listened to LCHC on GTAIV and it was a little boring after a while listening to the same eight songs over and over. There needs to be enough radio stations to keep every one happy.

    Huge fan of the rap radio stations of all the GTA games, and one thing I've noticed is the artists are always exclusively from the area that rockstar has recreated

    I.E. San Andreas (West Coast) - NWA, 2pac, Da Lench Mob. Liberty City (New York) - Swizz Beats, DMX, Papoose, Busta Rhymes
    This leads me to believe that the GTA V radio station would most likely include artists such as:

    Tyga
    Game
    Snoop Dogg
    Tha Dogg Pound
    Cloud G
    Messy Marv
    Mac Lucci

    Ok. Heres what I think what radio stations there going to add.

    For hip hop/rap:
    Modern day Hip Hop/Rap Station
    Old School Hip Hop/Rap Station and back in the day hip hop. 90s and early 00s
    For Rock:
    Modern Day Rock
    Classic Rock
    A Metal Station

    For Pop/Dance Pop:
    Such songs as "Hello" - Martin Solveig, "We Found Love" - Rihanna, "Rain Over Me" - Pitbull, ect.

    Dubstep Station

    Since its going to be in Los Santos which is based in Los Angeles and many Mexicans communities live in L.A., I'm assuming there going to ad a Banda/Narco Corrido/Norteno station and a cumbia station

    Country Station

    On the trailer, I saw on the freeway sign saying Little Seoul, so I'm assuming there going to ad a Kpop station

    Custom radio with a DJ and jingles like in the PC version of IV (Preferable with lazlow hosting.)
    Modern rock station with things like foo fighters red hot chili peppers killers etc.
    Classic rock eg. rod Genesis etc

    and as much as it pains me to say this they need a top 40 pop station that plus lmfao Justin B etc as it would help the realism. (Although i doubt they will as this would go out of date fast.)
    the need to update the format as-well if you commit crimes outside of missions they report about it. oh and maybe request songs via your phone or internet.

    It would be nice to see more underground Hip-Hop or indie if you will a lot you might not agree the underground communality is not to big but it would be awesome to see some : Atmosphere, Benefit, Blu, things like that, If not they should REALLY have some old school rap going back to :K-Dee, Ice cube, N.W.A, Ahmad, Snoop dog, Biggie, and, 2pac basically expanding the music on "Radio Los Santos"

    since its going to be based n LA theres going to be a Huge Hispanic population. "SOOO!!!" hopefully there will be Mexican music (Corridos/Narco, Chalino Sanchez etc....) ...dudes in the dubs paying Corridos, Mexican clubs, hopefully well see that in GTA 5 because thats a true culture in LA for Hispanics so dont cut that out because you have Hispanics in the game so why not have the culture in it

    most guessed to be the release date of "V".

    classic rock & more country,in sanandreas they shelled out some decent country & in gta IV there was a......ehhh rock soundrack but gta always seems to avoid bands like ACDC,metallica,and Aerosmith. the country was good and the dj was funny but even though gta makes fun of everyone but they needed to cutback on southerners (umm der dem dun reyudnecks)
