I really don't think anything big will come this year. Maybe a few screenshots and that's it. Of course it depends on when they expect to release the game (which I believe will be fall 2013 at this point).
They proabably wouldn't of announced the game if they were gonna make us wait 2 years. That would just be the worst decision (In my opinion).

I've noticed that also, and it made me think what if in the beginning of the campaign we started out in a different state like colorado during a snowstorm or something, and real shorty after we get on a plane to Los Santos. It's a possibility.
