  1. not pay to win, but soon will be pay to play. understandable tho, to a degree. they gotta pay ppl to keep it going. but hopefully knowing how many ppl do want to play they keep the cost low and reasonable, like 50/yr. or something, (just throwin a random rate out there...)multiply that by 10million = costs paid.

I doubt it. There is really no more of a maintenance fee to this game than GTA IV or RDR. I highly doubt it'll ever become pay to play. And R* already confirmed you don't have to buy in-game money with real money to succeed. It'll be all good.

EDIT: what I mean by "maintenance fee" is like server upkeep. There is really nothing different about running this game than RDR and GTA IV. They just have to pay employees to take abuse from children, and keep their servers running. My point is, don't worry about this. This isn't an MMO.

  2. So I, Trevor, ran over a cow. well, sort of, I more or less headshotted her with my right rearview mirror. so I got out to take a picture and this guy on a Sanchez comes by circling me yelling something like "passo-porto asshole, show me your pass port" and so on... then, all of a sudden, he pulls a sawnoff and capy my balding mullet head with it commenting "nah looks canadian"

Exact same thing happened to me in the woods. Haha. Except it was three rednecks. I was Michael and I shot two of them. Then, the third just pulls out a sawn-off shotgun and one-shots me! I'd normally be mad to lose that five large, but it was worth it that time!

  3. I have noticed the same cars seem to spawn quite often. I saw about 8 Bullets in 1 block.
    They still haven't fixed that?
There is nothing to be fixed pal!(spoken with Michael's voice) It's a Vram limitation thing, the more car models are loaded in the traffic, the more ram usage. Traffic has more variety than IV imo.
Well, it is a bit of an issue that should be fixed. I loathe seeing 8 million of the same cars in one spot. It breaks my immersion. And how is the vehicle damage? I saw some leaked gameplay and it didn't look to great. I'm not "hating" either, I'm just stating my opinion.
Ok it can be fixed by having a more powerful graphics unit. Unless you want the road textures to disappear, you have to live with the traffic variety on PS3/X360. I'm with you on that, but it's a technical limitation, not a game bug. 2. Damage is there and it seems more advanced than GTA IV, they only tweaked it a bit so your car seems more durable for the first 2 hits. But besides that, I can make a sports car undrivable by 4-5 hits from 30 mph, because the front axle breaks.

Oh, alright. Haha! And I said that wrong. I know it's not a bug, it just kind of sucks it has to be that way.

  5. Looks sick I like the sound of the biker mission

I would learn how to use the spoiler tag since there's a lot of members that don't want any secrets of missions etc.

That doesn't seem like a spoiler to me.

On a related note: I noticed that the article was remarkably vague... They don't really go into much detail on much. Either they're trying not to spoil anything, or the writer is lousy.

I agree. The biggest part of the article was spoiling 5 of the missions...

  6. I think it'd be cool once we hit the "12 days from release" mark, if R* released a screenshot or two a day until release, just to continue their hype and keep everyone on their toes..

Yeah, it'd help pass the time too! And regarding the review debate, who cares what people rate it at? Especially IGN, those jokes. Buy the game and play it! If you really don't like it, then so be it. People in this world need to stop deciding what they like or dislike based upon what other people like or dislike.
