Fucking BOSTON.

Oh wait, think not want. Derp. I dunno, somewhere I would find disappointing in theory, but will immediately change my mind about once I see the trailer.

Signs point towards DC, others San Andreas. But I think we will get a new place, so I vote DC.

I feel like DC would be a huge waste unless we got to shoot up the White House. Half of DC is inaccessible to the public, so I would expect a lot of accidental six-star wanted levels if that's where it's set.

I was thinking just this, it's a pretty sterile city to be honest from what I've heard. They'd be much better off redoing Vice or Los Santos/San Andreas IMO.

Haven't we already seen R* postings for voice actors that gave clues as to where the game might be set? I remember seeing those awhile back.

There's two sides to DC. The side the tourists and politicians see, and the ghetto.

Right, but DC's ghettos aren't any different from any other ghetto, the only exception being that the president lives eight blocks away.

I think Vinewood is unlikely because of LA Noire, but it does fit with the voice actor postings. San Fierro is another city that fits this bill. Something to keep in mind is that one of the characters was a some kind of pro-marijuana activist... Or something like that. Looking over the list of weed states narrows the list down a little. Mainly Cali and Nevada.

I vote other because I got the feeling its going to San Andreas again, Or they are going to change it up to keep us on our toes, Make GTA 5 have a two seperate games, Start in Vice City, Get annexed to San Andreas, Then in the second game, head back to Vice City

Sorry but do you have any proof to back this up?

I live in DC and this isn't true...

I want to see any other setting besides Liberty, Vice and SanAn. I'd like to see them do an entirely new location and I'm hoping for Washington D.C. personally, as it would be fun to run amok in the capital city of the USA.

I don't need any proof. 'Half' is obviously an exaggeration, but there are plenty of places that only government personnel can go. And I'm only talking about the main part of DC, I don't give a shit about the suburbs or the ghetto.

I have a feeling Las Venturas is going to have a large focus, Five dollar bill font? That doesnt mean gangsters and hoodlums, that means money which means gambling. If Rockstar continues that pattern of when they re do cities (Start on the opposite from which you started first) We will start in Las Venturas. speaking of which, They never have re created San Andreas yet

I think it's going to be LA. There's been rumours for quite some time of voice acting done there http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/115/1154230p1.html and Rockstar seems to have an affinity for redoing areas where they haven't went in depth enough for their liking (one of the main reasons they wanted to redo Liberty City...atleast that was their story to the press.)

I wouldn't be suprised if they re-did all of the three GTA San Andreas maps eventually...and I wouldn't complain a single bit.

I think Los Santos/Vinewood is definitely in the game, and is probably where most of the story takes place.

I'm hoping that the entire state of San Andreas is in as well. Can you imagine what Las Venturas would be like? The strip could have 20-25 casinos each with a different theme: a Liberty City casino in the vein of New York, New York, and re-done versions of Caligula's Palace and The Camel Toe etc.

I'm not even sure if this is plausible or not, but if the GTA V disc just includes Los Santos/Vinewood maybe Rockstar could offer the other cities that complete the state as DLC.

Why are people thinking D.C? Explain to me what signs point there.

The dollar sign I guess. I personally hope it's not set there, it sounds too boring.

I thought NYC was America's financial city? DC doesn't have anything in it. Or at least, a dollar sign doesn't make me think of DC...
