I have the folders for all my games copied to an external hard drive, updated fairly often.

Skyrim is probably worse, I'll have to count my mods there.

Edit: Not by much. 150 even for Skyrim.

You just reminded me of the Fallout 3 folder on one of my externals.

Makes me want to reload all the old PC saves, I remember having Megaton and the Tenpenny suite.

L0L again at me here to fix shinies.

Shit, man. That's quite a task. I have a fix for pretty much every glitch and error in the game. Fun stuff...

Try the Pip-Boy Readius mod, if you weren't already using it. It replaces the Pip-Boy with a handheld device and gives you your left wrist back.

http://newvegas.nexu...om/mods/36646/?

It looks far too modern by default, so I use the Pip-Boy 3500 retex. Mind the different options.

Dragbody makes pretty decent armor, if that interests you.

The Winnebago mod is a nice, portable safehouse.

http://newvegas.nexu...om/mods/45947/?

It's too shiny and pretty for Fallout, so use this with it.

Then, there's Electro-City. Electro-City is a large assortment of mods that makes things all-around better throughout the Mojave, especially if you're running an ENB and have ridiculously dark nights. They add functional streetlights, more cars to the roads, etc. Go through their page and click every link they have, it's always something good.

The other stuff I have is mostly armor and character mods, player homes, weapons. Once I've wrapped up my current files, I'll be downloading Project Brazil. It's a huge mod (1.2GB) that these people have been working on for four years, which is longer than it took Obsidian to make New Vegas. It's an entirely new questline in an entirely new area. You actually select whether you want to play New Vegas or Project Brazil when you start a new game. Despite the title, it has nothing to do with Brazil.

ya i was looking at project brazil

got a few user made mods too. thinking i might stray from the main story and do some. not sure if its a good idea to do at such a low level.

cant do the pip boy. my favorite armour pack need a body retexture. with pipboy gone the arm looks retarded. creator said he isnt going to patch it.

ill check the other tho for sure. thanks

Is that the Fallen Skies outfit? My non-tribal Legion character wears that.

I should take a few pics of my characters. I think I've posted two in this 79-page topic.

Working on acquiring an armor set for my ghoul sniper, but pics of my generic courier within the hour.

Here's my non-tribal Legion character. I can't remember if I resized this or not, but I'm certain I don't give a fuck.

It was early in the game and the NCR wasn't hostile to me yet.

I forgot to take pics of my generic courier. Despite him being generic (he told House he was done and hasn't picked a side yet), he has the most rich imaginary backstory. I'd elaborate, but no one gives a shit or knows Fallout lore that well.

Pre legion eh. gotta get that legion Armour on. i used a legion overhaul. makes it look less clean. also gives some of them metal armor

http://newvegas.nexu...m/mods/36503//?

My tribal proudly rocks the legion armor, but I've decided the non-tribal is only in it for the killing. The tribal is cold and calculating, and the non-tribal is a sociopath who just wants to fuck shit up. I've already gotten him addicted to jet and psycho.

Mass, I'm a complete Fallout junkie atm, and anything I don't know on a certain part of the game when I come across it irritates the fuck out of me so much that I have to search the wiki for more info. So I want as much info as I can get, just give me a reason to feed man. Cos even though I'm not new to Fallout, I'm new actually paying attention and knowing the history of it all and the Fallout Universe as a whole.

So if you wanted to share, I'd at least read it. . . just to give me an excuse to learn more.

The outfit and cigarette are both from The Courier's Cache.

http://newvegas.nexu...om/mods/49531/?

Short quest, but lots of walking. You'll get the cigarette as soon as you enter the cellar this mod adds in Primm. It's in a toolbox on a work bench. I think the lock is set to 'hard.'

That courier is ex-NCR from the Hub, so the NCR neck wrap and armor parts on the jacket worked out well. It has the pouches and straps from the roving trader jacket, and the shirt and fatigues are retextured merc grunt armor, and merc troublemaker boots. It's a really nice set, and lore friendly, as you said. It looks more courier-like than anything else I've found. It looks very worn and wastelandish, very believable.

Ya kinda stupid its set to hard. i missed the cigarette. Gonna go back there.

any other way to get the armour? ill eventually have hard lockpicking

he should have had an alternative open for that. like an extra battle with someone that has a key.

The toolbox has a lock, not the cellar. Sorry about that. Only the cigarette is in the toolbox. After being sent to the player home up north, you'll be sent to a guy wearing the armor.

Oh, and the bag on his back isn't part of the armor, it's from Satchels.

I'm kind of disappointed with the modding community for New Vegas, but I'm pretty happy with what I've found.
