Figured I'd make a topic about it, some of you have gone through it, some haven't. Some of us are anticipating it in the near future and others are currently experiencing it. This is a place to discuss college/university, get some advice, and share some experiences.

Hi, my name is cuda, and despite people thinking I'm just a musclebound douchebag, I also hold an engineering degree.

I was going to do it but the finance service fucked me over.

Two days before I was due to leave I got correspondence saying they had all my evidence and needed 6-8 weeks to analyze it and then my money would be delivered. So it'd be like 6 weeks before I could buy a laptop, buy food etc. Absolute bullshit considering I sent them documents as far back as March and they lost them TWICE. The last time sending them down was late June or so and it took them that long to decide they'd received them?!?

Was just impossible and my grandma who I lived with and still do got gravely ill so I opted out of going to look after her, now I work IT Helpdesk and I'm training for to become a Microsoft Technology Associate and some City & Guilds stuff.

The end goal is to attend university after I finish my apprenticeship.

Should've become a personal trainer. be a shredded cunt and make people pay for help becoming a shredded cunt

What the fuck would that have to do with engineering broseph? Personal training is a made up job anyway, if you can't figure out how to lift a weight or not to eat a twinkie, you need better help than a personal trainer.

I'm considering a finance, economics, accounting, or international relations/business major.

Colleges I'm looking at in order (for the most part) include:

-Butler University

-University of South Carolina

-University of Missouri

-Oregon State University

-University of Washington

-Western Washington University

-New York University

Anyone who has any outlook on these I'd appreciate the advice.

Also, for the Americans here, if you attend out of state, I'm guessing you must register and insure your car for that state?

My sister-in-law is a PT and she is shredded as fuck. and no I'm not posting pictures of her you fucking pervs.

Also, I never finished high school. I am a spray painter by trade but hated the work haven't done it for years.

I have considered extending my formal education but without a high school diploma, you're kinda screwed.

Stay in school kids.

If I could go back, I would definitely get on that finance/economics party, cunts make way too much money, would fit my narcissistic agenda.

I know a guy in NYU, math department (doctorate).

What happened to being a pig, Brian?

Oh that's still there, but I'd become a federal pig.

Big boy bacon.

Not all criminals are as much of a bitch as Michael. You can't afford to be as much of a dick as Haines. Play nice with people who have nothing to lose, and you'll be a decent federal desk-pig.

I attended Suffolk University in Boston from fall 2005 and over the next three And A half years I changed my major 6 times.

After realizing I should be a semester away from graduating but instead I had a year's worth of credits and was constantly drifting in and out of probation I dropped out.

I pretty much became Jimmy De Santa for the first half of 2009, living with my parents and spending most of my time playing GTA IV and Fallout 3.

Went through a bit of a depressing existential crisis and knew I needed to get my shit together. Applied to a couple of universities and got accepted into the Geneva campus of Webster University.

I graduated with a business administration degree in 2011. Then I worked at a telecom company for a year before finding a better job working as a human resources specialist at the Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

My advice is to try and be decisive and choose a major you're going to be interested in I know that's a lot harder said than done but really make up your mind on what you want to do. I skipped a lot of classes that simply bored my mind and I (or rather my parents) had to pay for the consequences.

Mission with Amanda at the therapist

Anyway back to the topic...

Is it better to dorm or to rent a place off campus?
