The driveway has a retaining wall on either side, so it's like a trough that just fills up. The wind packs snow in around our cars. From mid-February Taken last night, during the forum shenanigans...this doesn't show how strong the wind was blowing... The front yard slopes down to the road (it's a bitch to mow, the backyard is worse.) From mid-March We've had three major snowfalls since then. The snowblower can no longer aim snow high enough to get over the snow bank on the front yard. From today after I got home from work...our apple tree is almost completely submerged in the snow. Prescription for getting through this kind of winter: from-scratch comfort food, homemade bread, wood stove, snuggly cats, pie, bacon, beer, weed and gaming. And finding fun ways to keep warm.
