If you snipe someone from a rooftop and a cop sees them get shot but not you, you shouldn't get a wanted level until the cops saw you, this would make it more fun as you're not only trying to run from the cops but also be stealthy and not let them see you.

^ that would be boring bro... in RDR, you sleep with a shotgun on your back...

I think like RDR, you should see where are your weapons, and the arresting system should be more realistic.

Which would limit the weapons you can carry, which in turn will make the game less fun.

This perplexes me. While true on limiting the number of weapons one can carry, I think would make the game much more interesting.

Imagine if you could carry only maybe a pistol or two, a knife, maybe an uzi of sorts, and a few grenades with some extra ammo. It would have to make you think before you try and off an entire police department.

You would then in a sense have to dress for major heists. You would need tactical gear which in turn would make one seem rather suspicious. Or perhaps you could call a Little Jacob type friend who would drop off an AR and some ammo, rob the store, and have Franklin drive you away.

Then to maybe make up for the lack of personal armament, you could mod your car to carry weapons and ammo. That would be cool. A seemingly...nerfing...idea towards GTA could in fact make GTA a little more action packed and in a sense, more challenging.

The weapon wheel from RDR would be cool. Whatever weapons you have selected are what your character is carrying but he still has more than what's shown. I've seen so many people say that having the RDR weapon style would limit you more and it wouldn't be GTA but in reality you held more in RDR. You got to hold numerous pistols, rifles, shotguns, snipers, thrown, etc. You just had to use the wheel. I'd also prefer the wheel so I don't have to keep tapping the D-Pad to get to the weapon I want.

Once again, the weapon wheel was in GTAIV, it was just invisible and navigated with the D-Pad rather than the right joystick.

I'm far too used to the D-Pad weapon swap to be willing/able to accept the transition to the wheel. If they do include the wheel, I hope it would be optional. Maybe change the preference in the controls section of the Options menu.

Weapon Selection: Directional Pad | Wheel

The difference between RDR and GTA IV though was that in RDR you would have every weapon you've found. In GTA IV, you were limited to one weapon of each category. Because of this, I'm hoping for some sort of upgraded weapon wheel. At times, I liked using the AK in GTA IV yet it wasn't worth sacrificing my M4 Carbine.. If they were to allow the player to have both, I think it would greatly enhance not only free roam gameplay but mission-based gameplay as well..

I wouldn't mind limiting the amount of weapons we could carry as any player, if they introduced the ability to store weapons in our safe-house.

I just feel like it would be great if we had some heads-up of what sort of mission we'd be getting into before shit goes down? I just found it hilariously absurd how Niko receives a text from Packie to show up at his place in a suit and proper shoes for something he's planning with his brothers, and when you get there Niko casually agrees to join them for a bank heist! At least in SA, the casino heist mission was the culmination of many smaller missions that set it up, and the same could be said about the bank job in Vice City. I'd like to choose what to wear, what weapons to bring, and what car to drive for most missions, heist or assassination or whatever.

This could be solved with a system where you would go to your contact and get a brief of what they expect you to do. The mission wouldn't start until you called your contact to discreetly inform him/her that you are about to begin when you are ready; saying something like: "I'm about to start cooking" or "Somebody gonna get pregnant." It could give a good advantage to start the mission from anywhere, and if that's too problematic then maybe begin the mission from a convenient point in the map that you must place the call from. Another advantage of this is the ability to case your potential target location and come up with your own strategy on how to carry out the mission.

One of the greatest moments I've had in the entire GTA series was when we had to assassinate Salvatore Leone as he was leaving Luigi's club in GTA III. The only instructions you got were; Sal leaves in XX time, so don't get spotted in front of the club before then. Initially I thought I would park half a block from the club and wait until he left to try to run him over. Unfortunately he made it to his car and I had to ram and shoot his car off the road, and I remember that it was a very hard mission that took me a couple of tries. In another play-through I remembered there were stairs in a back alley that lead to the roof of the building across the street from the club and proceeded to climb up to the roof. There was a small window of opportunity for me to blow off Salvatore's head with a sniper rifle before he got in his car, and that made what was once such a difficult mission an incredibly easy one.

I'm not saying I dislike any kind of challenge, but I would like to be rewarded for being clever (cramming all night for a final and getting a B+, is nowhere near as satisfying as cheating your ass off and getting an A). It's much more realistic and a lot more fun to give us some kind of control on how to carry out our missions.

I dig what you're saying. I think something like that would just up the feeling of immersion even more, especially being able to just start a mission where ever.. But i think i could only be applied to a few specidfic types of missions, mainly the heist ones like you said. Otherwise it would get very tedious to hae to plan your shit for every mission, it would end up feeling like a open world Hitman almost.

If graphics are like grand theft auto iv this game will have shit all to do after you complete the campaign as you probably know sanandreas was the best of the series!

Could you explain how any of that makes sense?

What he is trying to say is:

If the graphics are that of IV, there will be nothing to do after the campaign; in my opinion San Andreas is the best in the series!

Still doesn't make sense, unless somehow graphics correlate to level of fun in-game.

That makes even less sense because San Andreas had some of the shittiest graphics ive ever seen ,even for 2004...not to mention for 2007 GTAIVs graphics wernt really bad, the freeroam and world was just boring....Maybe he means The graphics may have been better in GTA4 but there was no replay value after the missions, and on other hand SA had shit graphics but there was so much replay value, and he hopes GTA V will have much replay value and great graphics, thats what i think anyway....

Then I suppose I should make my apology brief and concise.

Hooray for monitoring every post made to make everyone feel like a jack ass, JC do you have no life

Making you feel like a jackass was far from my intents. There's no need to feel for you to feel like a jackass, eco, but because I made you to, I offer my apologies.

On the subject at hand, dynamic character scarring; are you people intrigued or not?

I like the idea of being penalised for speeding but I'm not 100% sure it would be fun in this game. It is kind of strange though that the cops don't give a shit if you run a red light, speed or hit other cars but accidentally graze their car and the city is on you like white on rice.
