A shrimp is just a tiny lobster (no I don't mean this literally, they are of the same order but different species.) The meat is very much the same.

If those are your choices, go for the oysters.

Best food ever?

Spicy Twist with cheese from KFC. x2 of course.

Or practically anything from Taco Bell.

Or italian food at a fancy restaurant, like bolognese, ravioli, lasagna...Fuck, I'm so hungry now.

So the Oyster po boy wound up being ok. Not much oyster and a little bland. I think I should have went with the Lobster Roll. However the oysters on the half shell were very good and so was the calamari.

8/10

Coming from Long Island, where we catch most of our own seafood on the East end, in the LI sound, and the Atlantic I also beg to differ.

It didn't have catfish. It had shrimp or Oyster for the po boys. There's a lot more. Here's an article about it if you're interested. It just opened.

The northeastern coast has fucking amazing seafood that doesn't include readily available catfish. I beg to differ.

I said creole or cajun restaurants, I wasn't referring to restaurants in general. If a creole or cajun place doesn't have catfish, it's shit.

Now, on to Brian's link. It's a general seafood place, so the lack of catfish doesn't ruin the restaurant, but it's still a lower middle quality place because of the lack of catfish. Also, putting po' boys on a menu without catfish being an option is just shameful.

Here are the steps to making a po-boy sandwich:

  1. Get seafood (crab, crawfish, shrimp or oysters).

  2. Remove all moisture and flavor by deep frying it at 800 degrees.

  3. Serve on a dry bun.

  4. Keep gauze and water nearby to soak up the blood from the roof of your mouth, and rehydrate yourself to replenish your life force when finished.

For some reason out here on the east coast they love the Italian,

and the sausage and peppers are literally everywhere.

Damn I miss the Mexican food from California.
