So in past GTA's we had many types of intractable buildings. IV however, didn't have as many as lets say San Andreas.

Here are some ideas.

Hotels - Basically if you need a place to stay and get rest/ Help your health you can pay to stay at a hotel (Enterable Lobby, Hallways, Rooms, and elevators) There could also be different rated hotels and quality.

Hospitals - This is pretty obvious as to why it should be enterable. There should be doctors you can pay to replenish health like in IV with ambulances.

Convenience stores / Gas Stations - It would be nice to be able to go into these stores. It would just add to the realism of the city.

Mega-Marts/Chain Stores - You can buy basic supplies here like clothes and maybe stuff for your home (if you can decorate your home)

What would you like to see? Thanks to Dup for the idea.

more stores, even if they serve no purpose other than a possible place for a shootout... i too want more interiors... all the enterable buildings in bohan were just hallways to the back, or stairways to the roof in some cases... burger shot and the hospital felt like the only places with interiors... i would welcome a lot more variety in that department...

stadiums, dealerships, convenient stores (24/7?), movie theaters, hotels/motels, tool shops, casinos/gambling dens, bars (that can "actually" be interacted with without a friend present), more restaruants, factories, loading docks, libraries, apartments, etc...

I like your idea about going into convenience stores (24/7) but they should let you buy idems in the store to replenish health. Example a candy bar would cost you a $1 but would only replenish 1/4 of your health, soda pop could cost $2 and replenish half your health, and one big bag of chips could cost $3.50 but replenish all your health.

Good idea, I like the idea of blowing off some money after a bank robbery, and getting shot multiple times lol.

I'd like to go on another mall rampage, like in GTAVC, or State of Emergency. We saw the Beverly Center in one of the newly released screens, and having been there myself, I can tell you, it needs a rampage. I'd throw a grenade or two, or three, or twelve in each store, save the pretzel shop. I really want a pretzel now...

Stores should have destructible environments - Shelves can be knocked down, merchandise thrown around, etc.

That would be cool, but not ground breaking...cmaybe being able to use a candie bar as a stand in in a armed robeert attempt

Or you could pick up one of those thin racks with hooks and use it as a melee weapon. Also shop lifting

If they put in another pool table inside a safe house like in Playboy X's pad, I'd better be able to play it, with or without a friend.

More houses, lobbies, offices, restaurants, bars, just a lot more interiors. I think R*'s detail on interiors in GTA 4 looked good so why not add more interiors.

Because memory and loading times. If consoles had more memory and used SSDs you could have more interiors than you could shake a stick at.

GTA 4 had a lot of issues with pop-in and un-rendered textures and while the engine will be better optimised in V, the hardware will still be seven years old.

I hope that answers your rhetorical question.

I want to be able to break in to civilian houses and apartments. Otherwise, banks, maybe a university campus (ULS? something like that) and shopping malls. Especially shopping malls.

I quite like to hotel ideas. Like in Red Dead Redemption, you could buy the place or rent it. If that could come into play as well...

This is obviously really, really stupid, but I would love to be able to sleep on the streets in GTA V for a bit.

I know, this should probably be on a different topic, but, if the story's based on search for The Almighty Dollar, say the shit hits the fan, your house gets taken off you, and you're a hobo, and you must build your way to the top...

Yes, very pointless, I know.

i hope they give atleast a slight indication of if a building is enterable like the gold door knobs on LA Noire.

Yeah I like the idea of there being a subtle indication like the gold knobs.

If they put in enterable movie theaters, I feel like there would be a lot of people doing reenactments of the Aurora theater shooting (the Batman thinhg). That would be really controversial and I don't know if Rockstar would want to have to deal with that. However, they still had theaters in RDR and you couldn't actually walk around in the actual movie viewing area, you only could watch it...so I don't know.

The gold knobs on this forum aren't subtle at all.

That post was made a week before that guy shot up that theatre.

Yeah, I know. But still, R* might want to be careful about the inclusion of theaters in GTA5. I don't really think it would be a huge problem if they did include them, though. Like I said earlier, they could just make the theaters like the ones in RDR and there wouldn't be any problems.
