Man Reportedly Dies While Watching WrestleMania 28, Choked Out by Cousin

Recommended Posts

- NOLA.com reports that 24 year old Stephen A. Arceneaux III from Destrehan, Louisiana died while watching WrestleMania 28. The man was reportedly choked out by his 14 year old cousin and pronounced dead at 10:39pm local time.

From NOLA.com:

“According to St. Charles Parish Sheriff Greg Champagne, Arceneaux had gathered with friends at a home on Murray Hill Drive to watch the pay-per-view event “Wrestlemania 28″ on television when he and a 14-year-old cousin began to wrestle on an inflated mattress on the floor. The juvenile, who is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 110 pounds, placed his arm around the neck of Arceneaux, who was 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighed 220 pounds, in a move commonly known as a “rear naked choke hold” for 30 to 40 seconds.

Witnesses reported that Arceneaux said he would not give up or “tap out.”

But at some point, someone noticed that Arceneaux was turning blue and told the youngster to release the hold. When he did, witnesses realized that Arceneaux had stopped breathing and dialed 911, shortly after 10 p.m.

Arceneaux’s girlfriend tried to revive him with CPR. He was transported to St. Charles Parish Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Champagne said the investigation is continuing. No arrests have been made.”

Only a fucktard wouldnt see that someone is out.

my buddy tried getting out of a choke. got in voluntarily. he wanted to see if he could. he went limp in about 5 seconds. when my other buddy that applied the choke, let him go he flopped to the ground and his head bounced off the cement floor. probably hurt like hell. he was out for maybe 5 seconds after he was let go. but he was clearly passed out. he was fine obviously.

wrestling seems to make headlines at least once a year over deaths from kids trying to imitate it... me and my friends used to pretend we were all WWF susperstars when we were young... no one ever put the choke hold on seriously though, it was all a show after all... we knew it was fake, unlike most rednecks...

Who's going to notice a Canadian with brain damage anyway?

obviously marney was never a kid...

I quit watching ages ago, but I still watch the WWE's Hall of Fame induction ceremony every year, just for the nostalgia factor.

this new guy at work, who is literally 15 years older than me, talked about the monday raw following wrestlemania, because i asked of course... he mentioned randy orton and i believe that's the last person i remember joining the WWE when i stopped watching... i never watched when cena joined, which i think would be my favorite character right now, but yea... wrestling moves on despite it's fans moving on... unlike some folks of course, like the guy i now work with...

I never liked wrestling as a kid.

Yeah, same with me. To me, wrestling was just throwing around a person to the ground and showing off fancy finishing moves. Violence is only good to watch in films and video games, not in real life.
