What are you looking for in GTA5?

Recommended Posts

I would really like to see planes come back again, more buildings to go in, and i would like to see destructible environments. I just want to be able to fly around in my fighter jet online and see another player in a building and be able to shoot some missiles at it and make it fall and crush him.

me too. the ladder truck in SA was a cock tease. sad.gif

hell, if they add in tractor trailers, they could put in a tiller truck and allow you to control the trailer. make for some epic fun in multiplayer. smile.gif:fap:

Now that we know GTA V is set in Los Santos and that there are tractor trailers, Los Angeles only uses tillers for fire department ladder trucks. So the chances of ^this^ happening got a little brighter.

I am a rather big fan of the GTA Series.

San Andreas being the first one on my list with so many things to do.

GTA IV as the first one for Graphics.

Looking at the trailer of GTA 5, I can see the graphics part of things has certainly beaten IV.

I am an aviation enthusiast so one main activity i wish to be in GTA 5 is to fly! I personally think, they should include a small flying school and work your way up to be able to access a bigger Intl. Airport.

I am not one of those people that get's a game and randomly goes around killing every pedestrian they see. I like to explore the map/world and with the city and countryside in this game, i can see i will have the utter most adventures. I love car chases, with the Police and trying to evade them.

i think they should let you buy plane tickets and travel to liberty city, vice city, and maybe london.not really sure though about london. let you compete in races, moto x, moto x freestyle. they should bring back monster trucks, and multiple variaties and costomizations. i also would like if they include las venturas, san fierro, red county, all of those little country towns, and an upgraded and bigger version of area 69. everything you could think of. ALL THAT SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going to go back to a few idea from The Saboteur, it had some cool features;

  • Call a friend to bring you a car of your choice when you're stuck in the middle of nowhere. (You set which car it is you want from your list of cars in your lock-up.
  • When you're in a no-win battle you can call your mates who'll turn up in a vehicle and they'll be kitted out with the weapons you've bought for them.
  • Mug a nazi (policeman in this case) and as long as no one sees you you can take their weopon and their outfit.
  • Be able to buy a pistol complete with suppressor. If you can do that in real life where I live for a few hundred quid then why not in GTA V?

Not sure about what new features I want to see, but there is a few things that I want to keep from GTA4 or see return from other GTA games,

Car Mods...

Clothing...

Dating...

Planes... (although from the trailer is looks pretty much obvious that we can fly)

Parachutes...

Mini Games...(Darts, Pool, Air Hockey...ect)

Random Characters...

Character styling...(Hair, Tattoos , Piercings)...But not weight gain or muscle.

The trailer shows several guys with assault rifles that are suppressed. So hopefully this means suppressors have been added to the game--which might mean that unlike in GTA IV, I can fire a round without a wanted level every. single. time.

I hope they give us the longest story line yet. I know a lot of people want a lot of "customization" so they can play GTA: Barbie's Playhouse with their clothes and jewelry, but I'm a storyline guy. I'd like 30+ hours at least.

I have a feeling the storyline will be a little bit shorter than GTA IV's as a trade-off for the gigantic map size(that I predict).

Planes of course. But to be honest, I don't really see the use of a plane if you can fly around one city. (even if the city is huge). I'm also wondering how they will utilise planes in missions. What do you guys think?

So you want planes 'of course' but you don't see the point in them?

It would be fun to drive planes in multiplayer. But what about the singleplayer? How would it serve any purpose in missions?

I've only played IV for a short time, but what I missed from San Andreas was the extensive rural landscape to explore, including mountains and farms and deserts and hills. I just felt very claustraphobic stuck in Liberty City. Fortunately it looks like this is going to change, and I am once again going to be able to drive up Mount Chiliad and across country.

I also missed the wackiness and the unrealistic storylines. I don't want the story to be limited to what can happen in the 'real' world, that is very boring. I want to infiltrate army bases and steal vertical take-off jets and combine harvesters. I want to encounter all kinds of eccentric characters like Mike Toreno.

I also don't want to have to put up with all the social crap. I don't mind if it's there for people who want to waste their time on that aspect of the game, but I want to be able to complete the game, and get 100%, without having to socialise with people.

Thinking more about what I'd like to see...

Multiple solutions to missions. I have to get inside a building to retrieve an object. I can do it the old-fashioned way, go in guns blazing. Or I can use the stealth option, break in and steal it without firing a single bullet. Or I can do something wacky like bribe my corrupt policemen to stage a raid, and to pick up the object while they're inside. Maybe I can drop gas into the ventilation system to knock everyone out, then put on a mask and go inside without having to engage anyone. Each solution requires either skills, guns, money, equipment and/or associates.

Another thing I'd like is to be able to register cars in my name, so that even when the computer decides I parked it in the wrong place I can go to the impound lot to collect it. Or if it falls into the water, I can pick it up from maritime salvage. So far you can buy and keep your own clothes and safehouses, but the only way to make sure you keep a particular car is to leave it in a safehouse permanently and not bring it on any missions. This needs to change.

Purchasable Villas with gardens and ability to park your car almost anywhere in your property, within reason of course. Maybe even selling them as well. It would be cool if you could buy properties using your mobile, like physically taking down the number on the sign and calling it. That would be cool. There should be a lot of houses, but that depends on the size of the map.

A house in the projects would be cool, with crackheads around and regular shootings... Then being able to go to your mansion just below the Vinewood sign and have an epic party.

Like the idea of being able to actually choose your safe houses, but I don't like the idea of having them thrust upon you like in all previous games, I would have loved to be able to sell the safe houses in GTA 4.

Off road parking too, not fussed where exactly, not fussed exactly how many vehicles, just somewhere that other traffic (Mainly Taxis your on your way home in) won't smash into them.

Cameras: In GTA San Andreas you can take pictures and save them, unlike that useless camera-phone in GTA 4, what's the point in being able to take pictures and never be able to look at them?, bring back savable pictures.

What's the point? You earned WAY too much money in GTA IV, there was nothing to spend it on except $1 burgers, clothes and weapons. At least in San Andreas there were houses, cars, tattoos, hair, clothes, food all to pay for so it didn't seem like there was too much money.

Buy Lottery Tickets...and Win!

Torn off sign saying "Lottery Tickets"

I know there are hundreds of signs in GTA that don't actually mean anything, but It would fanfuckingtastic to be able to win the lottery in gta.

I would like to see a lot more random acts by peds like in gta III annoying as it was getting car jacked by that guy in the blue camo trousers or random shoot outs, police chasing people other than me as in high speed car chase not just "whats this stolen credit cards ?" and the police car rolls up and the ped jumps in the back (only to attack you should you then steal the police car) a-la gta IV. I also want to see the street performers that you would expect to see in places like beach board walks, the fairgrounds to actually function like in bully, interactive wildlife like RDR also safe house customisation. but mainly I want to be able to buy a pair of ingame speedos.........they just make for sensible beach wear imo.

I'd like the pedestrians to say more. That was one of the best parts of GTA III, how all peds would say something if you stood around them and just observe.

How many times did you trail that old guy waiting for him to say "My Mother's my Sister!"? Don't lie.
