  1. Thought it might be interesting to see where everyone on here is from. Would be cool if one of us is travelling near to another member, cos you know, could meet up... For sex. Or murder. Reason I'm mainly asking is because I might have been going to Miami for a week and I'm sure we used to have some members from around there. I'm not going now though, but it's still interesting. Also I need to know where you live so when I gamble all my money away I can crash at your place. Anyway.......... I'm from Newcastle in the North East of the UK. It's pretty much the most Northern town in England before you get to the Scottish border, so our accents do sound slightly Scottish to people who don't know any better. It's nowhere near London. When I speak to Americans when I'm over there they think everyone comes from London. No, Newcastle is about 400 miles away from London, it's the other end of the country. I suppose Newcastle is famous for it's bridges, nightlife and women. There are a number of bridges over the River Tyne, including the Tyne Bridge and Milennium Bridge which are pretty cool. The Tyne Bridge was featured in the credits for "Driver" on PS1 if you can remember that far back. The nightlife is pretty crazy. There's TONS of bars here and it's a lot cheaper than most of the country. People travel from all over for stag/hen do's (bachelor parties?). And the women... Well they don't like wearing much, even though it's not very warm here. Plenty eye candy. And slags. Oh and you might have heard of/seen/drunk Newcastle Brown Ale which is from here (although now brewed in Edinburgh or something). Oh, and there's the Angel of The North. And the casino... Err, here's some pics.
