  1. Credit to CantPauseToast at GTAF for this one... In the docks multiplayer map of Max Payne 3 there's an office with some pictures on the wall. The pictures show a couple airplanes including what appears to be the same type of plane at the very end of the trailer (Shamal) and the newer Hydra-type. There is also a large cargo plane similar to a C-130: Extracted image by GooD-NTS: GTA V images: A similar thing happened with Red Dead Redemption goats appearing in a Weazel News commercial for The Ballad of Gay Tony (2:00) a couple years ago. Rockstar confirmed the goats were RDR. Since these models are proven to exist and be used for something, this has more credibility than the Max Payne 3 vehicles list. Will we see the large cargo plane in GTA V or will it be a part of Max Payne 3 DLC?
  2. With Grand Theft Auto IV's dowloadable add ons, I keep wondering what they'll bring out for the upcoming title. The Lost & The Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony were great, but will they be able to achieve a greater add on? What kind of DLCs will you be expecting?
  3. Just heard that 2K Games (Rockstar Czech) have delayed their October release of Bioshock Infinite (or something) has now been delayed to February 2013 apparently due to GTA V. I don't know for sure, but if this is true, then this is another factor of the GTA V October 2012 release date...
  4. I would love to see lots of serious and unserious things in GTA V. Not "unserious" as in Saints Row style but like dismembering people, myths, insane vehicle and weapon customisation, etc. Serious things like plane crashes, car crashes, murders, etc. How "serious" and "unserious" do you think GTA V will be?
  5. I know I thought of some bullshit about GTA V being released on 7th August 2012. This isn't me trying to be popular, as I don't give a shit what anyone thinks. But the whole thing about me being shot. That was funny, I must admit. Anyway alot of may already know this, but GTA V is deffinetly October 2012. The main reason being that GTA V is 87% finished!! The other reasons are like this: 1) On some Google thingy GTA V's release date is shown October 2012. Apparently some Rockstar employee put this on Google 2) The trailer released in 2011, so 2013 release is BULLSHIT!! This is probably the most obvious reason. 3) Like many other people, I believe the 2nd GTA V trailer will come out on 24th May. This also gives away it's deffinetly 2012. 4) Rockstar confirmed that Crews and Gang Wars will be in GTA V. This deffinetly tells us GTA V is near completion (87%) If anyone has other thoughts or reasons. Please post them!!
  6. So this guy named Glogger posted something about GTAV and now the post is deleted and he is banned from Gamespot. This post was made in the Gamespot forum Here's the the cache to the page: http://webcache.goog...3844/gta-v-info Here is what he wrote Mar 12, 2012 4:22 pm GMT Hello! I am a friend of someone who recently got sacked from RockStar North for general misconduct. Because one contract to RockStar covered everything, including secrecy, and his contractual obligaton was now removed, he was legally allowed to spill the beans on Rockstar's upcoming GTA V. And he is making damn sure everyone knows about it. Here is the info you really want: 1. The protagonist will be one character, and one character alone. His name is (as some rumours said) Albert De Silva. He's a half hispanic man who was once part of a crime family in Vice City. He decided to settle down and have kids in Los Santos. He has one son called Kevin De Silva who is your stereotypical CoD player. He's lazy, useless and shouts racial abuse online and is really into FPS games. Kevin does admire his Dad though. 2. Multiplayer will hold 32 people on the Xbox and PS3. I wasn't told how many were able to be on the PC. Just like in RDR, players will be able to form Gangs. These gangs are not ranked through XP anymore, but via Reputation. Instead of gang hideouts, you can do jobs that range from robbing a launderette to breaking into a military base and stealing state-of-the-art weaponary. The Gang leader has much more control over his or her gang by being able to rank members of their gang and setting more specific objectives to specific members of their gang. Gangs can have their own terratory but this only applies to areas inside the city of Los Santos. 3. The map is about 5x as large as the GTA IV map and the City of Los Santos takes up just under half of this area (so it's a bit bigger than 2 GTA IV Liberty Cities). The map is (like most GTAs) seperated into three different sections. 4. Planes are flyable, they range from World War 2 fighter planes to Private Jets. 5. Cars and guns are customisable to an extent, for example, you can cusomise a gun to have a supressor on it and you can install nitrous into cars. Here's some stuff you might like: 1. The protagonist is the "rich guy" from the GTA V debut trailer. You get to learn more about this man in the second when he talks about his troubles. You only see the protagonist twice in the trailer. First time is the side of his face and second time is when he is driving a Deceptor (Audi R8). The people robbing the jewellery store are just with the protagonist. He is driving the van ready to get away. 2. Gunfights are more realistic. When you are shooting a gun out of a window of a car, depending on how fast it's going you will have troubles aiming due to shaking cameras. 3. The game is due in May 2013. A more specific date has not been decided because the game is still needing 6 months to be fully developed. They will have a playable demo at E3. 4. Police chases are now way more than either running or driving. Depending on how wanted you are, police may bring out riot shields and flash bangs. 5. When someone reaches 4 star wanted level, there will be a radio warning on some stations. 6. Radio stations now do traffic reports that are actually correct. So if you don't know what route to take, you can check the traffic reports on your phone or the radio. 7. The in-game TV now has many more channels 8. Admin edit: Spoiler for previous Rockstar Games 9. The underworld actually has a working economy that you can contribute too by buying and selling drugs, weapons and illegal cars in single player. 10. The protagonist can take drugs which will have some effects. But smoking weed on the streetwalk will lead to getting a one star wanted level. 11. Police cars will go after you if you're obviousely breaking the speed limit. Having high speed crashes will also damage your health. Wanted levels: 1 star - police follow you on foot and try to make an arrest. No sirens, no car chases (unless you are speeding). 2 star - police will still attempt to make an arrest. If a weapon is drawn then the police will begin opening fire. Police will use stun guns if a weapon is not drawn. 3 star - Chases begin and the police don't care how they stop you, they just want to do it. 4 star - road traps, radio stations and much more hostile police.Even when you have evaded them, they will still search for 24 in-game hours for someone matching your description. 5 star - shoot to kill, arrest only if it's made very possible. Even when you have evaded them, they will still search for 48 in-game hours for someone matching your description. Few missions become unavailable if you are wanted. 6 star - military vehicles come after you. Even when you have evaded them, they will still search for 72 in-game hours for someone matching your description. Some missions become unavailable if you are wanted. Hope this is useful!
  7. I looked in the search bar and couldn't find anything so sorry if a similar topic already exists In GTA IV, I thought some of the story mode game play was a little weird. For example, you always drove everywhere, starting from the first mission. I'm a huge fan of driving, however I think it's a bit unrealistic that you are driving your friends/mission associates everywhere when they know the city better than you do and you don't even know where your going sometimes( I know you have GPS but that's beside the point) And also, your friends call you to hang out at really strange times. For example, after you kill Dimitri, Roman would call me to go bowling or some shit. I don't feel that Niko would be up for bowling after that... Second of all, there needs to be more of a variety of missions instead of the classic GTA IV: go and kill this person, or go make this deal for me which goes wrong and then kill that person. That's what I liked about TBOGT. They added creative missions like the triathlon and the export car mission ("No. 3" I think) They need more missions like these and "3 Leaf Clover" in GTA V. Agree, Disagree? Leave your thoughts
  8. Helloooo fellow posters, I've used the search for this and couldn't find anything so correct me if I'm wrong, now anyway I've been playing San Andreas recently and one thing I forgot about that they took away from it in IV was the skill levels for the guns, vehicles and the character (Muscle, Stamina, max health ect) so it got me thinking, should they bring this back into GTA? post your thoughts!
  9. Over the years GTA has been very realistic and very over the top at times which is great fun and interesting. But should it be more realistic? How do you think airplanes and airports should operate in the game? Police? Other emergency services? Taxis/Buses? What are you're opinions?
  10. I hear alot of people discussing about how the main character could be Tommy Vercetti. I would love to see him return deffinetly or one of the McRearys. Who would you like to see return to GTA?
  11. http://www.nowgamer....ent_report.html Thought it would be interesting to link this as I have seen a few of you mention you'd like GTA V to copy certain parts of games like Mafia II.
  12. Hi, Do you think it would be possible that GTA V includes realistic car crashes, I mean like in the real life. For exemple, during a high speed car crash on the highway, the car would be completely destroyed, not only the bumper. Maybe you think it would make the game too difficult ? So what do you think about an option which could be disabled? I'm not talking about a pc mod, but about an option, natively available on both pc and console. Take a look at it : Especialy at 0:45 and 1:00 It presents the physics engine of Rigs of Rods. Besides the graphic quality, we can see that cars react much like real cars. Think of a physics engine like this in GTA V. .. Do you think it would be possible?
  13. I was wondering how many city's are the going to be I know LA is going to be the biggest map ever but its going to get boring just flying and driving about LA How many city's you think there's going to be?
  14. I have a PS3 but haven't bothered getting a Move controller, been waiting for a game that would be worth getting it for. Perhaps those of you who do have a motion controller (Move, Xbox Kinect or Wii Motionplus) could weigh in on whether you like it, and how it might be used for GTA V? Tell me what you think.
  15. Hi all, Well everyone is hunting for a release date for the game but I don't care too much for the console release date I want to know when it will be available for the PC. So when do you think it will be available? 6 months after is my guess. Also how many of you are going to be playing GTA V on PC? Tommy
  16. The amount of whining coming from spoiled little brats is getting on my tits. Not only on fan sites like this one but on every article on Rockstar's Newswire too. Comments like "We don't care about crappy Max Payne 3 just give us GTA V news now!" are a complete waste of time and prove these idiots lack the brain cells required to add anything of interest for the rest of us to read. Try using your brain to think of something constructive to say or just don't say anything at all. Rockstar aren't going to give in to your apron string pulling like your mother probably does every time you scream at her for an ice cream. Grow up!
  17. Hello everyone. I have some GTA V - wallpapers: DELETE THIS THREAD
  18. Maybe the old guy in a trailer is a boss you work for, like he is telling you his life story, standing, looking off a balcony, while you're sitting down listening, kind of like in the movies

  20. We're approaching Christmas, only 3 days away now. Think we'll be getting anything from them for Christmas or New Year? I'm thinking at most a very teasing gift, something such as a very slight hint to the game or maybe Rockstar will put those domains to use which they purchased? Anyway I'm really looking forward to January, I just think we'll hear more once we enter 2012. And yes, news is VERY slow these days. >.<
  21. According to IGN, which can usually be a reliable source, GTA V will be released in 2012. To find GTA V in the list of releases in 2012, check under the heading of TBA 2012. http://games.ign.com/articles/119/1192614p1.html
  22. I was bored and i started thinking about how the story may start in this GTA. There is obviously endless possibilities, but with the trailer clues and the confirmation of Los Santos and surrounding land, i stated to narrow down some ideas in my mind. I know most of you wont really care too much about this until you play it, but there's no harm in discussing it. The protagonist mentions in the trailer, why did i move here? That's a clue he's only just got there, and possibly by chance after quitting his old line of work? He mentions having kids, but that doesn't mean he actually has any yet. Also, Rockstar are still being tight lipped about the rest of the map so far. So this could hint to a something extra we weren't quite expecting beyond Los Santos. My first prediction: You start off in a 4-door family car, with your wife. You control the vehicle, and have to drive through some nice rural landscapes, passing through small towns along the way. You guys are talking about all the things you're going to do when you get to the new house, decorating and stuff, blah blah... Then suddenly a blacked out Sentinel rams into the back of their car. Two more are tailing them. The protagonist says something like "Shit, they've found us", and you now have to try and lose them whilst they ram and shoot at your car. You go off-road over some rocky terrain, and start to follow a "set route" (set, being you don't know you're following it, you just do it because the map is set in a way you just follow the semiotic signs) and then the cars eventually do their set barrel roll routines and diving off of canyon edges, missing a bridge, and those sorts of animations after a nice lengthy chase. The protag and his wife have a little talk about the incident after finally shaking them, getting back onto a freeway. You go through a toll booth and enter Los Santos, triggering a nice little radio message saying "The weather is perfect here in Los Santos today, here's a perfect song to compliment that". And as you drive through Los Santos to your new house, the set song creates an upbeat feel as you take in all the landmarks along the way. Welcome to Los Santos everyone! Ok, so that's my first prediction. Just to get the juices flowing. Post you own predictions, as frequently as you like. It doesn't just have to be how the story starts. You may have a certain mission in your head, that you feel we may come across during the game, and want to get it off your chest. It could just be a place to express what you really want from the GTA V Story though (not game mechanics and misc stuff though, use the pinned, What are you looking for in GTA5? thread for that). Get writing! /edit - date: 12/11/12 ---------------------------------------------------- Now we know that the story revolves around 'heists'. Can anyone think of any decent heist films? Classic would be better, i guess, as Dan only takes influence from classic material. Dan Houser & Rockstar North must have taken influence from some. I'd like to get the references when i play it! Here are some I already know of: Films to watch before playing GTA V Ocean's Eleven (1960) Snatch. (2000) Heat (1995) - Already used in IV though, maybe some other parts of the film will be referenced in V. Reservoir Dogs (1992) Jackie Brown (1997) Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998) The Sting (1973) The Italian Job (1969) The Getaway (1972) Swordfish (2001) A Fish Called Wanda (1988) Heist (2001) Ronin (1998) The Asphalt Jungle (1950) The Town (2010) Drive (2011) Ambush (1939) Rififi (1955) The Killing (1956) Seven Thieves (1960) The Big Snatch (1963) Topkapi (1964) Gambit (1966) Robbery (1967) The Thomas Crown Affair (1968) A Cop (1972) Charley Varrick (1973) The Brink's Job (1978) The First Great Train Robbery (1978) The Score (2001) Bank Shot (1974) Loophole (1981) Ocean's Eleven (2001) Ocean's Twelve (2004) Ocean's Thirteen (2007) Sexy Beast (2000) Inside Man (2006) Mission: Impossible (1996) The Man Inside (1958) Fun with Dick and Jane (1977)
  23. Its probably not going to happen for money reasons, but here is my case of why i think it should. 1 XBOX will hold the game back. The PS3 can go alot further than XBOX in terms of how much more can be put in the game because the PS3 is more advanced (I guess releasing the console later payed off in the long run). http://www.ign.com/articles/2010/08/26/xbox-360-vs-playstation-3-the-hardware-throwdown *my proof from ign* 2 PS3 is the present and the future of this generation of consoles. Many people are ditching the XBOX for a PS3. (at least who I have talked to) and the ps3 is predicted to pass the 360 in sales sometime in the next year. Do you agree? Disagree? Any other reasons you can add to my list? Also, 360 fanboys, please don't get all pissy about this, it's just my opinion and it probably won't happen anyway.
  24. Beloved GTA fans, list your animal wishes here, tell us what animals would you like to see in the next GTA, ok I'll go first: -Dogs (running around, street dogs, dogs in somebodies yard) -Cats (same as dogs, but maybe they can put them on roofs, on some walls, maybe backyards...) -Snakes (if the dessert is in the game) -All kinds of fishes -squirrels There you go now it's your turn !
