    Are shootings a regular occurance where you live? I'm just wondering because the common perception is that American cities are the worst.

    This is a map of shootings (quite a few fatals) where I live since the beginning of this year.

    We have very few shootings in Norway, but there's a shooting in Oslo every second week or so. Someone usually calls the police just if they glimpse a gun, or saw something that could have been a gun. And now after the terror attack it's getting even worse. :rolleyes:

    I wish I lived near in the Anfield - West Derby area, looks like it could be interesting.

    I don't think American cities are the worst, it's worse in Mexico.

    If you read the OP properly (FOR A CHANGE!!!!) you'll see that it say's "the common perception is that American cities are the worst" - not...........Jesus, I give up with you kid. I really really do, you disappoint me.

    Sorry but I don't see how what I said is conflicting with the original post.

    Thanks Skribble.

    I finally made a start on some concept art - ideas for my Final Major Project.

    Here's my first concept image, let me know what you guys think, as it's quite important. The Country isn't set in stone, it's more about the theme at the moment.

    The world is scorched and Man has retreated to underground refuge. People roam the wasteland only for food, water and trading materials.

    - Pretty standard post-apocalyptic theme. But we're going for a sand swept ruin of a once sprawling metropolis.

    Holy macaroni. I think this is amazing! But when I look at it, I wonder if not the lighting could need a little adjustment. Because they sky is foggy (sandy?), still there's very bright light at the tower and the shadows are too sharp for this weather.

    When I am at my latest status update http://www.igta5.com/forums/index.php?app=members&module=profile&section=status&do=list&status_id=1278 and click "view all 6 comments", it removes all comments and only my initial post is displayed.

    How do I make a one-word link? I click the link button, copy the URL and I do not get to type a description for the link. I'm using the rich text editor (because I've not found a way to turn off the damn thing).

    I might make a plugin for the site that lets you lot navigate by drooling on the keyboard. That way you won't need to do anything differently :drool::lamo:

    Serious note......

    I like the navigation bar at the top and the bottom of most pages, but maybe the font could be made easier to see? I know it is there, still I many times do not find it. I think the font size is equivalent to size 8 in Word, and it's gray. Size 10 would probably be fine, or make it bold and black.

    I don't know how the Sims work, but my thought was that if you play for too long, lack of sleep will in some way affect the character. Perhaps as a temporary reduction in driving skills and other skills. In the action adventure It Came From the Desert, the player could crash his car and end up on hospital if he didn't rest for days and days.

    Perhaps the idea is stupid, but that's no reason for you to not support it.

    But in all fairness, people ARE what they eat. In that sense we're on topic. It's just that the pictures shows what they're going to look like next year and not what they look like now.

    This is what's wrong with English cuisine. You throw everything in the mix and fry it. I'm surprised if there's not fried chocolate under that mess. And you're not fooling me, that are two penises.

    But the beans look yummy. An American cowboy would have used bacon and eggs with the beans and kept it simple. :yes:

    So make a 90x90 one with the bottom half white.

    I did that. The avatar was not stretched any more, but as profile picture it got stretched. It looked like I could not get it right at both places (avatar and profile pic). :wacko:

    Then I removed my profile customization (background color). It had the unexpected effect that the stretched profile picture was displayed correctly!

    I attempted to set a custom background color again to verify that it was not something random. New background color set OK, but when I went to my profile page the new color did not show. I had to set a background color several times before it would show on my profile page. When the new customization finally showed up on my page, the profile picture still was displayed correctly.

    I think this proves that the forum have some glitches.

    Is it possible to get an alternative to the rich text editor? I've found that button in the upper left corner that turns it off, but it also disables all the formatting tools. :(

    I liked the system of Mafia 2 where you got TICKETED for speeding and smashing into cars, this gives you the option to pull over and pay the ticket to shake the annoying pig, or floor it and say fuck you, also, when you park your car with the wheels turned, thats where they stay, just little details

    Ticketed for speeding and denting? Wow that would ruin me if I paid every time... I like to drive like a madman.

    From SA I'm used to two traffic rules: Don't touch a cop car and don't kill pedestrians.

    And the third rule is; when travelling on the highways if you're beside a car going at full speed it will pull across into your lane and send you spinning off into a tree or a river. I always loved that about SA, my modded street racer with nitros on full blast is being outpaced by a Perennial in the slow lane... yeah, really likely.

    But that's a rule the police don't care about.

    If you drive south of the Los Santos airport, you can be outrun by forklifts too. XD I love it and hate it at the same time.
