... i predict a new lengthy adventure starting sometime in late july/early august as well... he's going to be a good black guy who follows the independent route, the only one i haven't built a character for... -
i like the sound of how honest hearts starts out... someone probably asks you to help assist them in delivering a caravan of shit to new canaan or zion for some caps, for either the white legs or the sorrows, then being ambushed by the other and roped into the world of utah... i've always wanted to be a part of the caravans, it's why i chose the caravan pack (sorta) and why i like the courier-style missions and the crimson caravan...
EDIT: am i the only one that finds it funny to hear the TV talk about a "courier" who was the key in the whole plot to kill bin laden?? every time i hear of the courier, i think of new vegas
...EDIT2: level cap raises 5 levels with each DLC... no post-gameplay either, still ends at hoover dam...

i have been having a hoot playing evil on my current playthrough... casa madrugada is a ghost town, anyone that wants help gets roped and dragged out into the wilderness to be eaten by wild animals, and guys that want to dual get pushed over in a hilarious manner, making them look stupid... everyone i pass i must insult, and when the bad guys are robbing a carriage, i assist them, then kill them for the loot... i've piled up bodies on train tracks and in the middle of busy roads, thrown dynamite in the middle, used moltovs in bars, and shot bartenders for taking too long to get back to work...
good times... too bad the main story is a "feel-good" one
... makes you want to stay away from it since you get positive honor... -
i would think the road would be a loooooooooooong and lonesome interstate road, filled with nasty deathclaw/cazador mutations created at the science labs in the big empty... OK maybe not but, something tells me that lonesome road is just you and your trusty weapons, down a long stretch of highway dealing with some of the nastiest enemies ever, leading to this great "divide" that tells us the moral of the story... definitely side roads, similar to the march to jacobstown, caves, paths and valleys...
old world blues should have plenty of sweet tech and booby traps but yea, the history of experiments that took place at this probably once-controlled enclave controlled facility intrigues me too... pre-war creations and post-war mutations like the deathclaw... not sure if there's a history to those yet, maybe this place hold the info...
and if joshua is wearing the white legs armor, i'm sold
... i know the bandages probably go with the body but, i am digging the salt lake city police department armor over the bandages ... hopefully it's wearable and not just the burned man's armor... it could be the armor of the white legs... -

i like the sound of honest hearts and lonesome road... old world tech kind of gives me a dead money vibe... but, i wouldn't mind seeing the history of the west coast contained within this compound... i really wanna see the weather they conjure up in lonesome road... 8 hours of hidden valley winds and rain, lol
... something tells me it might feel like silent hill, enemies popping out of the sandstorm all of a sudden swatting at you like a deathclaw... fuck i pissed myself thinking about that...but honest hearts sounds like a mini-new vegas within itself... warring factions fighting over sole possession... it's the story of the burned man and daniel that could play out similar to the pitt's overall story... a fight for the future of zion...

... i know the mo-cap stuff and facial imaging wasn't done with the RAGE engine but, i thought the core world of LA noire was... i thought RAGE was R*'s world creator... -
LA noire only feels like GTA, but it's not even half as close to the real deal that RDR was... it's far from it...
have you ever played, point 'n click games, the sam & max series, or read choose your own adventure books?? it's 80% more like that, and 20% GTA... maybe it's more 70/30 but either way, it's different... RDR was more 80% similar, which gave GTA gamers the GTA vibe... you might only get subtle feelings with LA noire but, it's still there... it just takes a backseat to the gripping story and cunning detective skills you'll be dealing with on a constant basis...
i don't expect a lot of GTA gamers to like this... but for me, i love "sam & max" detective games so, i am excited... and the fact that it "feels" like GTA and RDR (because of the RAGE engine) is just the cherry on top

they released photos of saddam's two dead sons... so it's not the fact that they won't release it, it's the fact that they don't have to release it because it wouldn't ease anybodies perception that he was dead or not... it would probably spur a whole new movement of those who think it's fake... they're not obligated to show proof...
i don't think they are afraid of people seeing the brutality of the murder, i think they're just making sure it's the right time and it won't cause an uproar within the arab world... pissing off arabs is not the right way to approach this, hence the proper islamic burial he did receive...
it's a tricky situation right now... and yes, i agree with stoic, you can be quite annoying, especially with this whole, "he's not dead, he's living in tennessee!!" talk... he's dead and you're not convinced... i thought i was a conspiracy nut but, your making me look like dan rather...

... looks like LA noire will be sitting on the shelf for a few days then... quite honestly, i care more about honest hearts right now than i do about LA noire... i still REALLY want to play noire, it's just that my favorite game is releasing DLC the same damn day...maybe i'll play LA noire until the playstation store updates, if it's even online by then...

because "those" games are new and gamestop would lose money if they let you bring in any 2 games... i told them on their facebook page that this deal is no better than your everyday deal... trade in any game, get half the value... so, trade in 2 new games valued at $60 and get $25 a piece... sounds like the everyday trade-in deal to me, they're just trying to get you to trade in two games with good resell value at the moment...

i am a conspiracy guy too but, i don't feel like arguing today... osama is gone, that's good enough for me, i don't want to read too much into it right now, i'll wait for more facts in the coming weeks... you can't base shit off of the little bit of news we have on the subject... let it play out in the coming weeks...

i actually agree with the disposing of the body... you don't want to give the extremists the chance to enshrine him or use it as a platform for more recruiting... dump him to sea i say, let the sharks deal with him...
and i am glad we killed him instead of capturing him alive, which would of been this long drawn out process similar to saddam's trial... kill him and get it over with... celebrate, then move on...

The media only started backtracking on the photo once government officials confirmed it as 'doctored'. Hilary Clinton will be making a statement shortly, see if we get some proof it was Bin Laden.
we already have proof, who the fuck cares what hilary has to say... maybe not the concrete evidence your looking for but, it's good enough for me... and i guarantee the taliban will confirm it soon by mourning his death, and announcing a form of retaliation...

... as for the paying PS+ users, they just want to give us a free month, which is a nice token of appreciation for actually paying for their service... i heard DC universe and other MMO games are reimbursing their members in some way as well...but regular members don't need to be owed anything (sorry), especially if this whole credit hack does nothing... although, i often wonder what they should do about those that payed for online passes... hmm... but that has to do with game companies, not the network...

i'll play it by ear then... i won't install the code until a couple of days into the game, just to see what ebay is selling them for... because i know the network stores won't be selling them for more than a couple of bucks for each... all i really want is the badge collecting and the traffic case... if only walmart offered both

kaz hirai (i think?) discussed numbers yesterday... while there may be 77 million accounts on the network, there's probably only 10 million customers that have actually bought something... it's still a high number but not nearly the breach that the news seem to make it sound like... news outlets are running with the 77 million hacked credit card accounts, which isn't even close to the truth... grade A journalism there, world...
