Nice. Metal lathe is a lot more practical that a wood lathe. A good mate has one and I waited for years for him to upgrade it so I could "borrow" his old one but got sick of waiting. Can't really do much useful with a wood lathe but as one friend said "I'll never need a chair leg again".
My work is finally getting good enough I might be able to sell some at markets etc but I doubt I'd cover my costs much less time. And I'd rather be spinning than sitting at a stall peopling.

Hello beautiful people and Massacre long time no talk. I haven't been online much as I've got a new and pointless hobby.
Wood turning!
Because who doesn't need 70 odd wooden bowls. Anyway. Here's some stuff I've made

Hopefully I get to hear your beautiful accents soon.

This is shit. I'm basing this on fuck all info really except i deal with people all day. Games are how i escape the plethora of arseholes in this world. I don't want to have to deal with them in a virtual world too.

This games Ok. Combat isn't bad. driving is a bit shit. I really want a handbreak.
Best thing about it is I haven't tried to get in the left side of the car once yet.

Epic fun as always. great to hear your beautiful accents again. also some of the worst ausssie impressions I've heard in a while. Sorry I had to bail mid playlist. Kids are arseholes.

"Minge mop" I'm using that.... to polish the wifes floorboards. If you know what I mean.

I also used to tell people I had the globe tattooed on my left testicle.
When everyone called bullshit, I offered to show it.
No one ever took me up.

AC has been a bargain bin special for me for years. Freedom Cry is a PS+ game this month anyway. That'll tide me over.

I saw years ago about a uv ink. So the tattoo is only visible under black light. I always wanted to get a tattoo with that ink of a ninja. So when people ask if I have any tatts I can say "yes, a ninja" and roll my sleave up. They say "there's nothing there"
I reply "he's a very good ninja"
Of course I have neither the inclination or money to actually go through with this.

my dealer lived behind my shed until easter. it now lives in various mason jars in and around my shed. much cheaper option.

I've been loving this game.
Surprised no-ones talking about it on here.

As always. Late to the party. Borrowed this off a mate Friday night and I'm loving it. Level 6 just gone to velen and the only gripe I have is loading time after dying. It would be quicker to just quit and reload. Other than that good game. Should tide me over till horizon zero dawn is more affordable

Caught up with my mate with the VR headset on Friday night. Had a go at resident evil 7. I have to say it was fucking intense. But honestly, I probably wouldn't sit down and play a game in the headset. Yes it's immersive and was truly scary but it also feels restrictive somehow.

Recently been fucking around with stunt races.
While my custom Cheetah smashes anything in corners its top speed is shit.
Can anyone recommend a good super for stunt racing?
I'm not familiar with most of the new ones. I used to try them out in SP but alas...
I've only got about 2 million at the moment but it's not as hard as it was to get decent cash these days.

I've got the playstation one for PS3. works for PS4 and PC as well. I paid about $100 3 or 4 years ago and I'm in Australia so half that in the US and you'd probably get a second hand set for next to nothing.
Has virtual surround which works surprisingly well. also really awesome for watching movies.
Only real drawbacks are it's pretty bulky and one of the earmuffs squeaks when I'm eating something. but that might just be my set.

Should have used this for the soundtrack

My beautiful Wife took me on a sunset picnic for date night last night.
This was the only pic I took and it doesn't do it justice.
Pretty lucky knowing this is 5 minutes from my house.

Can't remember if I posted about this elsewhere but I had a quick go with Sonys VR headset not long ago.
Did 3-4 laps of a short course track in Drive Club and a demo of an on rails shooter with the "move" controllers.
Drive club stood out for me as you can be looking at the apex and not the nose of the car. awesome for setting corner speed accurately.
Spinning out makes your stomach lurch though.
The other one was fun but very gimmicky to me. not really and replay value.
But it was only a demo.
All up, probably going to be just as popular in the long run as 3D TV's.
