  1. Been getting back into Hitman lately. Been playing a lot of Blood Money and the new one. If you still play bones I’d be up for doing contracts with you.

Hitman 2 is looking really solid also. The Miami level looks awesome. Very excited. I am gonna miss the episodic method though. I liked getting one level a month and mastering that level till the next one came out.

they're looking into how to deal with griefers and PvP, according to pete hines... they don't want it to be an un-enjoyable experience for people when dealing with others... GTA was horrible, it's why we never played in public lobbies...

It's not the online experience of having to play with other people that makes me salty, (although it didn't help) The game just seems empty from what they have said. I mean no NPC's???? What kind of shit is that.

... i like fallout, so that's why i'm getting it...

There's no problem with that. If this sounded good I'd consider buying it. They should of just made a Fallout game with optional Co-op. That;'s what people really wanted. Not this shit.

  4. I'm definitely not gonna buy it. I don't suck Bethesdas dick at everything they make. When they're making shit I won't buy it. And this is shit.

Spider-Man PS4, RDR2 and TLOU Part 2 will more then tide me over.

i guess you didn't read my blurb i mentioned earlier about this maybe being a test game...

    A test game for what?

If thats the case then this is a test game for the future and if it works all of their games will be like this.

well i hope it succeeds, it'll mean more fallout B)...

just because elder scrolls online is doing good for them, doesn't mean we wont get elder scrolls 6...

Yeah but that was a completely different game altogether....

This is pretty much fallout minus everything we love about it.

that doesn't mean every game they make has to be single player, they do make a lot of those... they can make an online game alongside their dozens of single player ones... so i see this as an experiment... if it fails, what will they really lose if the next fallout goes back to it's roots? i think they're gonna see if a potential fallout: online down the road would work or not... this is essentially a fallout: online-lite IMO, and if it works, they might consider branching fallout off into another realm...

but i don't think this is the end of single player, and especially not the end of single player fallouts... just a bit of a distraction... come on, none of us expected a fallout for another few years, so i can't get too upset about whatever this turns out to be as it's an experiment...

But what if the experiment works in spades and this is their format for now on....

Lets just hope this game fails.

  8. Yeah fuck you Todd Howard.

Well when this game completely fails I'll be back. I'ver never wished on a game to fail except this one because if it works say goodbye to single player RPG's from Bethesda.

I understand the move, honestly. Video game makers need to make money. Microtransactions do that. But, i think if they sold the game for 120 instead of 60, they could cover whatever they'd get from the microtransactions without turning themselves into whores.

Yeah but at the same time they were making PLENTY of money without micro transactions... they are just getting greedy.

  10. This sounds like a complete clusterfuck....

They had a good thing going. There was no reason at all for this shit. Just fucking money hungry assholes. Get ready for those micro transactions.

    The reason is micro transactions.

    Oh absolutely.

It all hinges on that for me. Private lobbies and total control over who's allowed in, or else I'm out.

They want you to be in lobby's with other random players. So I doubt they'll let you do that.

  12. I don't wanna play Fallout with other people. Why can't there be any true single player games left? Why does everything have to be multiplayer now? There's no reason for Fallout to be multiplayer except to be a big cash grab on what's hot right now (Battle Royale) which is pretty much what this is. Just gonna be a huge fuck fest of base building and trolls. Good job Bethesda. Good fucking job.

    Fuck you Todd Howard.

    Fallout crew nights...maybe...

If you have control over your lobby, and dont ever have to play with anyone, great. I can see jumping on with a few friends to help clear a tricky location, but would never want to play with randoms.

From what I got, you have to be in lobby with other players. I'm gonna guess you can't create your own.

  13. For me, what's been so special about Fallout is the fact it's a true Single Player experience. We have more then enough Online games these days. Keep Fallout Single Player.

Only idiots would ask for Fallout Online. Why would anyone do that? That's incredibly stupid on the gaming community. Let's make every IP Online now. Every good single player property should have a forced online component.

And get ready for millions of micro-transactions for base building. I can see it now. Good lord this is gonna be awful.

note the pine trees and mountains behind vault boy...

    Good point.

they could still release a new IP, bethesda is a pretty big company lol...

That would seem counterproductive. To advertise 2 games at the same time. I doubt they’ll do that.

  16. And here I was worried the whole game was gonna take place in a vault

Its kinda weird that they’re releasing a new Fallout game though. Thought it was gonna be a new IP. Oh well I’m definitely fine with it haha

This is pretty much what New Vegas was to Fallout 3.
