  1. New radio station and DJ http://www.cinemablend.com/games/GTA-V-Nightride-FM-Feature-Kavinsky-51114.html "Like the song “Nightcall” from the Drive soundtrack? Awesome, then you'll probably love Nightride FM given that it'll be hosted by the really cool French DJ, Kavinsky. He's known for his 1980s Miami-themed dark-wave electronic music and it will be making an appearance in the upcomingGrand Theft Auto V, due out this spring for home consoles and later on for PC. Attack of the Fanboy managed to get hold of info from Twitter about the DJ's involvement with Rockstar's upcoming open-world action game, saying... DJ Kavinsky has confirmed that he will be appearing in GTA V on the station, which would come as no surprise as he also contributed to GTA IV. The artist confirmed the news via Twitter, but didn’t offer any other details about his involvement in the game. This is great news! Fans of underground electronic music will easily gravitate towards the excitement of this news because Kavinksy really helped bring Nicolas Winding Refn's indie masterpiece, Drive, to life. That's not to mention that other songs like “Roadgame”, used to help promote Hitman: Absolution, also gained a lot of momentum for Kavinsky as well, and the guy is really just hitting strides using old-school sounds for a new-school generation. One thing to consider, however, is that as cool as it is that GTA V will have music from artists like Kavinsky, there's also that absolutely frightening realization that 10 or so years from now we could be looking at licensing issues with publishing and distribution of GTA V via digital e-tailers due to the record industry...sort of like shades of GTA: Vice City and SME. Still, it's great news for fans of Kavinsky that the guy has a bit of prominent role for one of the game's music stations, and the whole “Nightride FM” sounds like it could be one small part of many amazing features to round out Grand Theft Auto V." Also in the examiner http://www.examiner.com/article/new-grand-theft-auto-5-details-point-to-radio-updates Also a new massive billboard is up in Poland suggesting marketing has begun http://www.gamepur.com/news/10096-marketing-and-promotion-gta-v-begins-huge-billboard-warsaw-poland.html
  2. apparently it was a live streaming video in a italian at multiplayer.it
  3. also I don't want to start another topic, but here's another article and translation (credit goes to Dul on gtaforums.com for the translation and summary) Multiplayer.it answered to some questions about GTA V via twitter today while they were showing in live streaming NFS MW (I announced it today). Hopefully I won't forget anything, here all the info they gave: First of all, next week they will release an interview with Dan Houser, they teased that he will reply to lot of questions, such as "Why there never been female protagonists?" and "Why all GTAs are set in America and there aren't GTAs in other countries?" - There is no a lead platform, they are developing the game at the same time in both PS3 and XBOX360 - Who saw the demo thinks that there won't be a Wii U version because rockstar is not experienced with this new console, but he is also confident that there will be a PC version after a few months. - Who saw the demo said the graphics is amazing, and you can see the maniacal attention to all the details. Amazing graphics and attention to details combine together and give a credibility to the game world. - Speaking of graphics, the demo had a lot of alias (Which is going to be fixed before release, of course) but the frame rate wasn't bad (but not perfect). Curiosity: They did the same presentation for GTA IV 5 years ago, and in this case the graphics was great but the frame rate was really bad. - At the moment you can't switch between characters if you are in free roam and you are wanted, but they are still working on that so it may change (Maybe we'll be able to switch characters and then make a huge escape from police with all the characters together... Damn, this should be in the wish list lol) - There will be multiple endings (Maybe we already know that, I can't remember) As for the lenght of the game, Rockstar said that the main story alone lasts about as the red dead redemption one. So about 25-30 hours. But there will be a HUGE amount of secondary things to do. Btw, It will last less than the one in GTA IV with Nico because they know that a lot of people didn't finish the story because it was too long.
  4. So IGN claim to see a "dead bull and sheep with horns" at 1:28 between the trees on the opposite side of the road. I can't make it out...
  5. http://www.gameinfor...er-q-amp-a.aspx You can't play the entire game as one character; sometimes you have to a solo mission as each character to advance the story. No co-op in the story. Some missions with all three characters you have to switch between them and then are given the opportunity to choose afterwards. Can't kill another character when playing as one of the three. Michael can walk around his house and interact with his family. Can buy new clothes. In free roam you choose to play whichever character you want. Each character is from a different part of Los Santos, but you can go anywhere you want. Natural Motion Euphoria used just like in IV, RDR and MP3. Entire map is open from the beginning. LV and SF definitely not in game. Downtown area of LS is smaller than Liberty City During demo, game and switching characters ran perfectly without lag. Swimming underwater confirmed, plenty of areas to explore. Plenty of boats and hoes. Internet on smartphone. Lots of TV shows. Trevor able to set things on fire when he wants, not just in missions. Each character has his own inventory and money. Subject to change before release, though. No CJ. No characters from III, VC or SA. Couple of familiar faces from IV will visit. Variety of races included; cars, bikes, triathlons. Still working on Wanted system. Rockstar didn't answer when asked if Xbox will have multiple discs. Interaction with your family (Michael) -Franklin has a dog (dog interaction confirmed) -Los Santos "definitely" bigger than LC (not Downtown only, but the whole metropolitan urban area) -You can light fires and make gas trails when free-roaming with Trevor -As of now, each character has his own money and weapons, this may or may not change in the final game -All kinds of races (from what I understand, races with all kinds of vehicles) also I don't want to start another topic, but here's another article and translation (credit goes to Dul on gtaforums.com for the translation and summary) Multiplayer.it answered to some questions about GTA V via twitter today while they were showing in live streaming NFS MW (I announced it today). 6. I don't think those tall buildings are from downtown. Might be a different part of the map entirely.
  7. I'm really looking forward to not having to do missions for some asshole chump. It seems like having three protagonists makes it possible for them to generate their own ideas and missions. It would be fun to play as the both the mission giver and the mission doer.
  8. it would be funny to trap a black bear in the back of a pick up truck, then bring it to downtown los santos hAHAH
  9. I think its gonna be a fucking awesome map. We get a huge city the size of Liberty city, we get a huge desert like area, and also a wilderness area. For me personally it's everything that I could wish for! Not to mention the underwater depths of the sea lol
  10. I doubt it because a bunch of thugs are not the kind of people I would associate as buying luxury cars from a Armenian scammers. besides I think in the trailer where Franklin peels out in the white r8 theres the dude yelling for him to stop. Maybe that's the house they are looking for in the previous shot where they ask Michael for directions?
  11. Hopefully this isn't a double post, really sorry if it is (maybe I'm bad at searching threads ) Heres an article which summarizes the two interviews and has links to both http://www.nowgamer.com/news/1675588/gta_5_has_a_strong_emotional_narrative_series_unlikely_to_leave_usa_houser.html
  12. Rockstar says trailer is totally ingame footage http://www.gamepur.com/news/9763-rockstar-gta-v-second-trailer-features-actual-game-footage.html
